UCL Press offers the OJS hosting service for UCL students and staff to produce and manage their own Open Access journals. Using Open Journal Systems software, journal articles are stored in UCL Discovery, while OJS provides the visible presentation layer of the journal. This service is provided free of charge by UCL Press.

Culture, Education, and Future (CEF) is an open-access and peer-reviewed international journal that publishes research aiming to improve education nature and knowledge production by focusing on how culture shapes education in light of current developments. The journal is valuable for teachers, counselors, supervisors, education administrators, educational policymakers, curriculum theorists and developers, and interdisciplinary education researchers. The CEF journal welcomes research that uses any research method, including reviews, mixed methods studies, quantitative and qualitative research, and innovative research methods. The journal's scope includes educational studies that can directly or indirectly impact education stakeholders, decision-makers, and practitioners. At CEF, researchers from all types of educational institutions, including K–12 schools, colleges, and universities, adult education centers, non-governmental education groups, as well as those working on social, family, and community projects, are encouraged to submit their articles that address current and critical issues in the field. Studies in all fields of education and culture, including psychology, anthropology, linguistics, sociology, and communication, are the journal's focus.

The CODATA Data Science Journal is a peer-reviewed, open access, electronic journal, publishing papers on the management, dissemination, use and reuse of research data and databases across all research domains, including science, technology, the humanities and the arts. The scope of the journal includes descriptions of data systems, their implementations and their publication, applications, infrastructures, software, legal, reproducibility and transparency issues, the availability and usability of complex datasets, and with a particular focus on the principles, policies and practices for open data. All data is in scope, whether born digital or converted from other sources.

The Journal of Open Research Software (JORS) features peer reviewed Software Metapapers describing research software with high reuse potential. We are working with a number of specialist and institutional repositories to ensure that the associated software is professionally archived, preserved, and is openly available. Equally importantly, the software and the papers will be citable, and reuse will be tracked. JORS also publishes full-length research papers that cover different aspects of creating, maintaining and evaluating open source research software. The aim of the section is to promote the dissemination of best practice and experience related to the development and maintenance of reusable, sustainable research software.

The journal Global Biosecurity is a quarterly peer-reviewed, open access electronic journal for cross-disciplinary research in all aspects of human or animal epidemics, pandemics, biosecurity and bioterrorism including prevention, governance, detection, mitigation and response. We publish work on risk analysis, outbreak investigation, epidemiology, modelling, bioinformatics, phylogenetics, surveillance, intelligence, strategic foresight, forecasting, ‘One Health’, policy, governance, law, law enforcement, defense, ethics and first responder preparedness. We encourage submissions of original research which is high quality, applied and strategic in all areas of biosecurity listed above. Original research articles undergo blinded peer review and will be published within 6 months of submission if accepted. We also publish editorials, perspectives from the field, CBRNE news and have two options for rapid publication. We are committed to providing rapid publication of global epidemics of concern, and encourage field epidemiologists, first responders, trainees in Field Epidemiology Training Programs, and public health officers to submit rapid reports or watching briefs to disseminate critical epidemic information rapidly. Rapid reports may be written as traditional analytical outbreak investigations, whereas watching briefs provide a descriptive overview of outbreaks, structured within a standard template. Rapid reports and watching briefs in most cases will be published within four weeks. The journal is researcher-led, not-for-profit, published by UNSW Sydney, a leading global university, and hosted by Ubiquity Press, a researcher-led publishing company founded by researchers at University College London. The intended readership is any first responder, policy maker, researcher or stakeholder involved in preparedness or response for epidemics, pandemics, biosecurity or bioterrorism. The expertise of our editorial team reflects the cross-disciplinary scope of the journal. The journal will publish continously, with full issues archived retrospectively. The journal is open access, online only, with no fees for readers or authors, reflecting our policy of equity of access for readers and researchers alike.

Asian Literature and Translation offers high quality translations of Asian literary sources and reflections on the theoretical and practical issues that attend upon translation (both in the past and present). It also publishes articles and comment pieces on Asian textual sources more generally, as well as work on the reception of Asian literature within and beyond the region.

Elementa: Science of the Anthropocene is a trans-disciplinary, open-access journal committed to the facilitation of collaborative, peer-reviewed research. Founded in 1988, the International Review of Social Psychology publishes literature reviews, theoretical notes and empirical research in all areas of social psychology. Articles are written preferably in English but can also be written in French. The journal is directed at researchers, students and professionals in social psychology.
