  • BenchSci offers a free application to academic and non-profit researchers to help select appropriate antibodies for their research based on data from over 14M publications and 12.4 million products. Using the platform, scientists are able to filter for their experimental context, find previously verified antibody products, and leverage cross-reactivity analysis to reduce redundant purchases per target and design more successful experiments. BenchSci also has an expanded Reagent Selection app commercially available to help scientists find appropriate products across seven different reagent and model system types.

  • NCBI Virus is an integrative, value-added resource designed to support retrieval, display and analysis of a curated collection of virus sequences and large sequence datasets. We are a community portal for viral sequence data, and our goal is to increase the usability of data archived in GenBank and other NCBI repositories. NCBI Viral Genomes Resource is a collection of virus genomic sequences that provides curated sequence data, related information and tools. It includes all complete viral genome sequences deposited in the International Nucleotide Sequence Database Collaboration (INSDC) databases, i.e. DDBJ, EMBL, and GenBank. Data are organized by viral taxonomy, and reference sequence records (RefSeqs) from one or more genome sequences for each viral species. After a RefSeq has been created for a species, other complete genomes from that same species are indexed as neighbors to the RefSeq.

  • The Biological General Repository for Interaction Datasets (BioGRID) is a public database that archives and disseminates genetic and protein interaction data from model organisms and humans. BioGRID currently holds over 1,740,000 interactions curated from both high-throughput datasets and individual focused studies, as derived from over 70,000+ publications in the primary literature. Complete coverage of the entire literature is maintained for budding yeast (S. cerevisiae), fission yeast (S. pombe) and thale cress (A. thaliana), and efforts to expand curation across multiple metazoan species are underway. All data are freely provided via our search index and available for download in many standardized formats.

  • RADAR4Culture is a low-threshold and easy-to use service for sustainable publication and preservation of cultural heritage research data. It offers free publication for any data type and format according to the FAIR principles, independent of the researcher´s institutional affiliation. Through persistent identifiers (DOI) and a guaranteed retention period of at least 25 years, the research data remain available, citable and findable long-term. Currently, the offer is aimed exclusively at researchers at publicly funded research institutions and (art) universities as well as non-commercial academies, galleries, libraries, archives and museums in Germany. No contract is required and no data publication fees are charged. The researchers are responsible for the upload, organisation, annotation and curation of research data as well as the peer-review process (as an optional step) and finally their publication.
