VBN is Aalborg University’s research portal. The research portal is publicly available and supports the aim to aid the accessibility to research carried out at or in cooperation with AAU. The research portal promotes contact to and collaboration with the university’s researchers and research communities. VBN is based on Pure, the system used at AAU for registering research, research activities, research projects and much more.

This is a subject based repository, that mirrors the data held on the PubMed Central site. Since 2010, the service diversified from PMC and introduced additional content including PubMed abstracts and biological patents. In addition this site acts as an Open Access repository for peer-reviewed research from researchers who have been funded by the Europe PMC Funders Group - submitted via the Europe PMC Manuscript Submission System A range of supporting guidance and background information are available on this site.

As such the collection presents materials relating to the core interest of the institution of science and technology. The site interface is in German and English and is supported by guidance documentation in both languages.

This is the principal site with almost 20 mirror versions around the globe. The site is supported by an extensive collection of information and background documentation. An RSS feed is available for anyone interested in keeping up-to-date with newly added materials. The interface is in English.

This is an aggregated institutional repository that allows the querying and use of nearly 9,000 items located in 26 separate departmental repositories. An RSS feed is available to notify people of newly added relevant content. A certain level of encryption and security is embedded in some subsections of this site which may cause some users accessibility issues, but this is only a minor concern. The main site interface is in English, although the individual sites that are aggregated to create this one do not all adhere to this as their principle language.

Pergamos is the the unified Institutional Repository / Digital Library of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). It holds a number of diverse digital collections coming from museums and libraries of the University of Athens. The interface is available in Greek and English.

CorkOakDB aims to integrate the knowledge generated from fundamental and applied studies about Quercus suber, with a focus on genetics. CorkOakDB features the first draft genome of Quercus suber, released in 2018 by the GENOSUBER consortium, and allows genome browsing and gene search. It also incorporates other types of data from cork oak scientific research, including gene expression data from publicly available datasets.
