**VESPA (Virtual European Solar and Planetary Access) is a web-based data search interface for Planetary Science and Heliophysics data. VESPA is a project of the Europlanet-2024 programme funded by European Community.** The VESPA portal provides access to data content provided by the science community, which is freely available to researchers and the general public. It is hosted and maintained by the Observatory of Paris, France. The VESPA portal is a search interface mainly connecting data services responsive to the EPN-TAP protocol in several science fields. It supports user-friendly searching on metadata associated with generic observation conditions (such as target, instrument, time/space/spectral coverages, illumination conditions, etc) and metadata specific to each dataset (such as instrumental parameters). Other protocols such as PDAP and NASA PDS keyword search are also supported.

SeaDataNet is a pan-European distributed marine data infrastructure for the management, exchange and re-use of marine and oceanographic data sets and collections. A major objective and challenge in SeaDataNet is to promote discoverability of these data resources in a consistent and comprehensive manner. This is achieved through the SeaDataNet metadata services a set of directories, with associated user interfaces and web services, each governed by a SeaDataNet partner and content provided through national SeaDataNet collating nodes. The European Directory of Cruise Summary Reports (CSR) is the SeaDataNet catalogue promoting discoverability of, and access to, reports of the research oceanographic cruises operated by European countries. CSR utilises a metadata format based upon the ISO 19119 content model. The **SeaDataNet CDI OGC WMS service** provides an endpoint for visualization of CDI metadata on a map. It can be used to add CDI metadata locations into a (web)GIS application, possibly in combination with the CDI WFS service. The SeaDataNet infrastructure links more than 100 national oceanographic data centres and marine data centres from 35 countries bordering all European seas. The data centres manage large sets of marine and ocean data (such as samples, timeseries, profiles, trajectories, etc), originating from their own institutes and from other parties in their country, in a variety of data management systems and configurations. The CDI service itself provides access to the data resources from more than 800 data originators. The Common Data Index service (CDI) gives users, via an ISO19115 - ISO19139 based index (metadatabase), a highly detailed insight in the availability and geographical spreading of marine data from the different data centres across Europe. Data sets are available in ODV (Ocean Data View) and NetCDF (CF) SeaDataNet formats that can be imported to ODV software, which includes the Data Interpolating Variational Analysis software tool (DIVA).

Data sets are described in EDMED irrespective of their format. EDMED utilises a metadata format based upon the ISO 19115 content model. The Paris Astronomical Data Centre aims at providing VO access to its database resources, at participating to international standards developments, at implementing VO compliant simulation codes, data visualization and analysis software. PADC hosts high level permanent activities for tools and data distribution under the format of reference services. These sustainable services are recognized at the national level as CNRS labeled services. The various activities are organised into portals whose functions are to provide visibility and information on the projects and to encourage collaboration. Paris Astronomical Data Centre offers a central support to the various projects through central storage and web servers computing facilities. PADC provides training through tutorials and seminars in various areas, such as images, spectra and numerical simulations.

The **WDCC (World Data Center for Climate)** is a data repository which offers long-term archival and publication of datasets relevant to climate and Earth System research. The WDCC services are guided by the **FAIR principles** and include **careful data curation**. Data published at WDCC are **highly standardized** and described by **comprehensive metadata** to facilitate interdisciplinary reuse. The WDCC service is open for the wider climate research community. The main focus is on the preservation of **climate model data** and related products. In 2022, the WDCC stores and curates **approximately 5 petabytes** of data on tape. A web-based Graphical User Interface provides access to the data.

SeaDataNet is a pan-European distributed marine data infrastructure for the management, exchange and re-use of marine and oceanographic data sets. One of the objectives is to provide an overview of marine environmental research projects. This is set up as a directory that is ready for discovery, but also supporting other SeaDataNet metadata directories (e.g CDI datasets information refers to a project in EDMERP to indicate the origine of data). EDMERP covers marine research projects for a wide range of disciplines including marine meteorology; physical, chemical and biological oceanography; sedimentology; marine biology and fisheries; environmental quality; coastal and estuarine studies; marine geology and geophysics etc. Research projects are described as metadata factsheets with their most relevant aspects. The primary objective is to support users in identifying interesting research activities and in connecting them to involved research managers and organisations across Europe, which is valuable for EOSC and EOSC communities. Currently, EDMERP describes around 3.000 research projects from organisations across Europe. EDMERP offers two interfaces, a regular HTML interface for human users and a SPARQL Endpoint for machine applications.For users who want to have access to the main european-scale marine research projects active in the marine research domain.
