Eine umweltfreundliche Alternative ist Carsharing mit dem Einsatz von Elektrofahrzeugen, deren Ladung mit erneuerbarer Energie erfolgt. Der Forschungsblick der vorliegenden Diplomarbeit richtet sich auf das klimaund energiefreundliche Mobilit��tsangebot E-Carsharing, dessen Einsatz in ausgew��hlten l��ndlichen nieder��sterreichischen Gemeinden nach differenzierten Aspekten er��rtert wird. Zentrale Erkenntnisse wurden aus den Nutzungsaufzeichnungen und Befragungsinhalten von Carsharing-NutzerInnen gewonnen. Die Aufbereitung der zeitlichen Perspektive der Energiebereitstellung f��r Mobilit��t aus erneuerbaren Quellen rundet den Themenkomplex ab. Die Ergebnisse legen dar, dass die Befragten in l��ndlichen Regionen das E-Carsharing-Modell prim��r nutzen, um einen Beitrag zum Umweltund Ressourcenschutz zu leisten. Das raum-zeitliche Mobilit��tsverhalten von Personen, die Sharing-Autos fahren, zeigt ��ber ein Jahr hinweg unregelm����ige Nutzungsaktivit��ten. Interessante Auspr��gungen hinsichtlich der Distanz, Dauer und Verteilung der E-Carsharing-Fahrten sind zu erkennen. Eine Volatilit��t l��sst sich in der tages-, wochenund jahreszeitlichen Energieerzeugung regenerativer Energiequellen (Wasser, Wind, Solar) ablesen. Insbesondere wurde dem zeitlichen Verh��ltnis von Fahrzeugen am Standplatz in der Gemeinde und der erneuerbaren Energieerzeugung nachgegangen, um abschlie��end Aussagen zum idealen Ladeverhalten von Elektrofahrzeugen im Sharing-Modell zu t��tigen. Auf dieser Basis wurden m��gliche Handlungsempfehlungen f��r einen Ausbau der E-Carsharing-Flotte in l��ndlichen Regionen diskutiert. Mobility is in motion; new drive technologies and innovative mobility services are in demand. These challenges have to be tackled especially at places where the demand for public transport services is difficult to meet and therefore, travel proceeds primarily by car: in rural areas. An eco-friendly alternative is car-sharing with the use of electric vehicles that are charged with renewable energy. The focus of this diploma thesis is on the mobility service e-car-sharing, an eco-friendly and energy-saving service. Its use is discussed on the basis of selected rural Lower Austrian municipalities. Key insights were gained from usage records and survey content of car-sharing users. The processing of temporal perspectives of the energy supply for mobility from renewable sources completes the thematic complex. The results present that respondents in rural areas primarily use the e-car-sharing-model to contribute to environmental and resource conservation. The space-time mobility behaviour of people driving sharing-cars shows irregular usage activities over a year. Interesting characteristics regarding travel distance, duration and distribution of e-car-sharing trips can be seen. Volatility can be seen in the daily, weekly and seasonal energy production of renewable energy sources (water, wind, solar). In particular, the timing relation of vehicles at the home position and sustainable energy production was investigated in order to conclude on the ideal charging behavior of electric vehicles in the sharing model. On this basis, possible recommendations for an expansion of the e-car-sharing fleet in rural areas were debated.

The aim of the REFOWAS project was to analyze the German agri-food sector with regard to the production of food waste and, in particular, the share of avoidable waste, and to identify and test strategies and starting points for waste reduction measures. The project combines two levels of analysis. The first, a holistic analysis of the German food sector, was carried out with regard to the waste generated by avoidable and unavoidable food waste and the related environmental effects. At the same time case studies were used to examine various subsectors in more detail (fruit and vegetables, baked goods, school meals) and a social empirical study (private households) was carried out. The methods chosen include: technical discussions; round tables; status quo and control measurements; household survey analyses; guided expert interviews; workshops and field tests to validate results and previously established options for action. The sector-wide investigations are largely based on data from the Federal Statistical Office and derived literature values. In the case studies food waste was quantified and reduction measures tested. From the varied and differentiated findings, recommendations for action for actors in politics, business and society could be derived. The results of the project were communicated in particular through the practically tested and evaluated measures, the subsequent information materials such as articles, brochures and video clips, as well as the wide-ranging discussion of results with lectures and workshops (see REFOWAS website - https://refowas.de).
