La agricultura subordinada al capital financiero internacional, mediante laagroindustria de alimentos e insumos, está bajo intereses que actúan con unalógica lucrativa.Los productos transgénicos tienen impactos negativos en la agricultura y laexpulsión de trabajadores rurales hacia áreas urbanas, incrementa en el uso deagroquímicos y la degradación nutritiva de la alimentación.Deben desarrollarse políticas de regulación controlados públicamente, paramonitorear, evaluar y evitar los riesgos sociales y ambientales de laagrobiotecnología. Agriculture subordinated to international financial capital, through agriculturalindustry of food and expenses, is under interests that act with a lucrative logic.Transgenic products have negative impacts on agriculture and displacement ofrural workers to urban areas, increasing the use of agrochemicals and thedeterioration of nourishment.Publicly controlled regulation policies must be developed, for monitoring,evaluating, and avoiding the social and environmental risks of agriculturalbiotechnology.

La presente investigación se enfoca en entender los hábitos de consumo de energía eléctrica en los hogares colombianos, con el fin de generar estrategias que permitan impulsar a través de prácticas y rutinas de ahorro energético, un beneficio para la economía de las familias. De igual forma, se analiza los beneficios para el medio ambiente y por ende el mejoramiento de la calidad de vida y la prevención de enfermedades futuras, a partir de la disminución en el consumo de energía. Así mismo, a través de esta investigación se plantea el uso de recursos de domótica, el Internet de las cosas y las TIC como alternativa para el ahorro de energía eléctrica en los hogares colombianos, teniendo en cuenta el costo-beneficio de la implementación de los mismos. This research focuses on understanding the habits of electricity consumption in Colombian homes, in order to generate strategies that allow promoting energy saving practices and routines, a benefit for the families' economy. In the same way, the benefits for the environment are analyzed and therefore the improvement of the quality of life and the prevention of future diseases, from the decrease in energy consumption. Likewise, through this research, the use of home automation resources, the Internet of things and ICTs is proposed as an alternative for saving electricity in Colombian homes, taking into account the cost-benefit of the implementation of the themselves.
