This review article summarizes fundamental knowledge about biochar. Biochar is getting paid a lot of attention recently for its ability to enhance crop yield and mitigate climate change. Main European furnace producers for generating biochar are introduced. Relevant physicochemical and textural properties are reviewed with emphasis on a stability of biochar, pH, water holding, and nutrient retention capacity. Czech legislation, where biochar is classified as a supplementary soil substance and voluntary certification initiatives such as European Biochar Certificate (EBC) and International Biochar Initiative (IBI) are discussed. The methods of application of biochar in agriculture are described as well.

Předložená diplomová práce je zaměřena na plánování a řízení projektu z oblasti cirkulární ekonomiky. V teoretické části práce je provedena literární rešerše daného tématu. Čtenář se seznámí s poznatky z oblasti udržitelnosti, cirkulární ekonomiky, odpadového hospodářství a projektového managementu. Následující kapitoly jsou věnovány praktické části, ve které je představena vybraná společnost z pohledu udržitelnosti. Následně je provedena podrobná analýza odpadového hospodářství společnosti a na závěr je zpracován projekt "Bezobalový prodej nátěrové hmoty" s užitím vybraných nástrojů projektového managementu. ; Obhájeno ; The master thesis is focused on project planning and management in the field of circular economy. In the theoretical part of the thesis is presented the literature review of the topic. The reader will learn about sustainability, circular economy, waste management and project management. The following chapters are devoted to the practical part, in which the selected company is described from a sustainability perspective. Subsequently, a detailed analysis of the company's waste management is carried out, and finally, the project proposal "Packaging-free paint sales" using selected project management tools is elaborated.

Předkládaná bakalářská práce je zaměřena na rozložení zdrojů elektrické energie na Novém Zélandu, jejich zpracování a následný transport vyrobené energie přes národní elektrizační síť do místa spotřeby. Součástí této práce je také srovnání energetiky Nového Zélandu a České republiky. ; Katedra elektromechaniky a výkonové elektroniky ; Obhájeno ; The presented thesis is focused on the distribution of electrical power in New Zealand, processing and subsequent transport of the produced energy through the national electricity network to the point of consumption. This work also compared energy generation of New Zealand and the Czech republic.

Diplomová práce je věnována postojům generace mileniálů vůči environmentální odpovědnosti firem, v této práci konkrétně firmy JYSK. Cílem bylo identifikování postoje mileniálů k environmentální odpovědnosti firem, zda je environmentální odpovědnost pro ně důležitá a esenciální a zdali vyhledávají tyto aktivity u svých oblíbených značek, obchodníků a firem, či je to pro ně pouhý marketingový fakt, na který neberou ohled. Teoretická část je věnována pozadí společenské odpovědnosti firem, zejména jaké normy jsou v rámci CSR dostupné a pak je také rozebrána teorie zeleného marketingu a jeho strategie. V další kapitole teoretické části je charakterizována generace mileniálů a poslední kapitola patří metodice. Praktická část již rozebírá environmentální aktivity JYSK a porovnává je s environmentálními aktivitami IKEA. Marketingový výzkum v této práci je rozdělen na část kvalitativní a kvantitativní. Východiska z praktické části jsou úvodní kapitolou projektové části, kde jsou nastíněny hlavní nedostatky environmentálních aktivit a jejich následného komunikování firmou JYSK směrem k zákazníkům. Projektová část obsahuje také návrhy na rozšíření environmentálních aktivit a návrhy na jejich komunikaci směrem k zákazníkům. ; The diploma thesis is devoted to the attitudes of the generation of millennials towards the environmental responsibility of companies, in this work specifically the company JYSK. The aim was to identify the attitudes of millennials to corporate environmental responsibility, whether environmental responsibility is important and essential for them and whether they seek these activities from their favorite brands, dealers and companies, or whether it is just a marketing fact for them they do not take into account. The theoretical part is devoted to the background of corporate social responsibility, especially what standards are available in CSR and then the theory of green marketing and its strategy is also discussed. Tématem mé bakalářské práce je analýza možností využití biomasy pro energetické účely na území České republiky. Práce je rozdělena na dva samostatné celky. V první části je provedena z dostupných zdrojů literární rešerše, ve které jsou uvedeny základní pojmy týkající se tématu biomasy a jejího rozčlenění. V části praktické jsou řešeny způsoby získávání energie z biomasy, analýza současného pěstování biomasy pro energetické účely s následným výčtem a popisem jednotlivých rostlin a podpory státu zemědělci v pěstování biomasy za nepotravinářskými účely. V závěru práce jsou navrhnuta možná řešení a doporučení pro současný stav pěstování biomasy pro nepotravinářské účely. ; The topic of my bachelor thesis is an analysis of possible usage biomass for energetic purposes in the Czech Republic. The thesis consists of two main parts. In the first part is made background research from available resources of literature, which includes main notions about biomass and its segmentation. The practical part solves ways to reach the energy from biomass, assessment present raising biomass for energetic purposes with resulting specification of each plant and supports to farmers given by state for prosecution biomass for other than food reason. Bakalářská práce obsahuje představení technických zařízení budov a technické zhodnocení vhodnosti pro napojení na průmyslovou regulaci. Druhá část práce obsahuje návrh a aplikaci řídicího systému. Závěr práce obsahuje energetické zhodnocení úspor. ; Obhájeno ; Bachelor thesis is dedicated to technical equipment of buildings and an evaluation of the applicability of regulation in the industrial area.The second part of the thesis presents draft and practical application of the operational system. Předkládaná diplomová práce je zaměřena na návrh malé vodní elektrárny v lokalitě radonického mlýna a na následné zhodnocení celého návrhu. Text je rozdělen do čtyř základních částí. První část se zabývá především základními principy a vlastnostmi vodních elektráren, rozdělením a popisem základních druhů vodních motorů. Druhá část je zaměřena na zhodnocení lokality radonického mlýna z hlediska možnosti výstavby malé vodní elektrárny a teorie proveditelnosti. Třetí část je zaměřena na samotný návrh MVE z hlediska stavebních úprav, návrhu turbíny, generátoru a silnoproudé části včetně řídícího systému. Závěrečná čtvrtá část hodnotí celkový návrh z hlediska ekonomické návratnosti, dopadu na životní prostředí a celkového přínosu v lokalitě radonického mlýna. ; Katedra elektroenergetiky a ekologie ; Obhájeno ; This master?s thesis presents a design proposal of a small hydroelectric power station to be located at a water mill in Radonice, West Bohemia, and a subsequent evaluation of this proposal. The thesis comprises of four sections. Section 1 introduces the basic principles and qualities of hydroelectric power plants as well as the classification and description of the elementary types of water engines. Section 2 assesses the suitability of the Radonice mill?s location for constructing a small hydroelectric power station applying, among other, the feasibility theory. Section 3 represents the actual design proposal including the necessary building adjustments, the turbine, the generator and the high-voltage section containing the control system. Section 4 evaluates the proposal with regard to its economic profitability, environmental effects and the overall benefits to the Radonice mill?s location.

Tato práce se zabývá oblastí energy harvestingu a jeho využití ve zbraňové technice. Moderní zbraně jsou vybavovány stále větším množstvím elektronických zařízení. Tato zařízení fungují na baterie, což s sebou přináší riziko vybití baterie ve chvíli kdy uživatel zařízení potřebuje. V této práci byla provedena měření efektivity piezo keramického disku, pro jeho případnou aplikaci na sběr energie zpětného rázu vytvořeného výstřelem palné zbraně. Piezo keramickému disku byla naměřena účinnost 1%. ; This work focuses on energy harvesting and its use in weapon technology. Modern firearms are commonly equiped with increasing number of different elektronic devices. These devices require batteries, resoulting in a risk of battery beying empty when user needs to use electronic device. This work measured efficiency of using piezo ceramic disk for harversting recoil energy generated by firearm discharge. Efficiency of piezo ceramic disk was measured as 1%. ; Ústav bezpečnostního inženýrství

Tato diplomová práce popisuje návrh fotovoltaického systému pro rodinný dům. Návrh je proveden porovnáním dvou různých konceptů s různými komponenty a zapojeními. Součástí práce je také zhodnocení výsledků a to z hlediska energetického i ekonomického. V poslední kapitole je rozebrána problematika ekologičnosti fotovoltaických systémů. ; Katedra elektroenergetiky a ekologie ; Obhájeno ; This thesis describes the design of a photovoltaic system for family house. The proposal is made by comparing two different concepts with different components and connections.The work also includes evaluation of the results in terms of the energy and economics. The last chapter analyzes the problems of environmental performance of photovoltaic systems.

Předkládaná bakalářská práce je zaměřena na současný stav a perspektivy energetického využívání biomasy v ČR. Jsou zde popsány druhy kotlů na spalování biomasy a popis bioplynové stanice. V další části jsou mapy energetických zdrojů využívající biomasu. It describes types of boilers for combustion of biomass and also biogas plant description. In the next part there are maps of the energy sources, which uses biomass. In conclusion the suggestion of suitable utilization of biomass.
