  • viii + 51 с. ; Отопление жилых помещений дровами и углем – существенный источник загрязнения воздуха вне помещений (атмосферного воздуха). Кроме того, оно может в значительной мере способствовать и загрязнению воздуха в помещениях, как напрямую, так и за счет проникновения загрязняющих веществ извне. Имеющиеся данные указывают на то, что вещества, которые попадают в атмосферу при отоплении помещений дровами и углем, могут наносить серьезный вред здоровью, способствуя развитию респираторных и сердечно-сосудистых заболеваний с возможным летальным исходом. При сжигании дров и угля в воздух также попадают канцерогенные вещества. В докладе рассказывается о последствиях отопления помещений углем и дровами для здоровья населения Европы и Соединенных Штатов Америки и приводятся варианты политики для этой сферы. Представленные в нем сведения свидетельствуют о том, что без принятия мер в этом секторе решение проблемы загрязнения атмосферного воздуха во многих странах мира будет крайне затруднительным. Руководители на уровне стран, областей и районов, политики и широкая общественность должны понимать, какую роль играет использование древесной биомассы для отопления как важный источник загрязнения атмосферного воздуха (в особенности – загрязнения тонкодисперсными частицами). Настоящий доклад призван помочь им в этом.

    The work is d to improving methods for calculating the cooling system of a microturbine with a rotor on air bearings. When designing gas turbines, it is important to integrate gas-dynamic calculations with thermal finite-element calculations. In practice, the conjugation of temperature fields in solids and liquids, as well as the transfer of thermal loads between the media are carried out using several approaches: direct, non-conjugate and sequential coupled. Numerical simulation of the coupled heat transfer in a cavity formed by the gap between the rotor and stator is carried out. To calculate the flow characteristics of a viscous compressible fluid and heat transfer. The degree of influence on the results of the type of turbulence model used, the influence of taking into account the conjugate heat transfer, is studied. The effect of the mass flow rate of the cooler on the flow structure and the cooling efficiency of the walls of the rotor and stator is investigated. A comparison is made with experimental data. Numerical experiments have shown that in typical cases the flow in the cavity is turbulent. The cooling efficiency has a limit on the flow rate of the cooler. The temperature distribution along the length of the rotor has a noticeable minimum in the region of the middle of the length of the rotor. The significance of the obtained results lies in the fact that the choice of the turbulence model weakly affects the calculation results and taking into account the conjugate nature of heat transfer is necessary.

  • vi, 88 с. ; Европейское региональное бюро ВОЗ при поддержке правительства Бельгии провело 2–6 июня 1980 г. совещание Рабочей группы по медико-санитарным аспектам захоронения высокорадиоактивных отходов. Это было третье совещание из серии проводимых в Бельгии встреч по медико-санитарным аспектам ядерной энергетики. Цель указанных совещаний состояла в том, чтобы удовлетворить потребность органов здравоохранения й охраны окружающей среды европейских стран в необходимой как им самим, так и населению информации о последствиях для здоровья людей новых разработок в области мирного использования ядерной энергии. Безопасное захоронение высокорадиоактивных отходов привлекает пристальное внимание как государственных органов, так и населения. В настоящей книге представлена значительная часть необходимой информации об этом жизненно важном аспекте ядерной энергетики. Она будет особенно интересна тем странам, которые сейчас.развивают ядерную технологию и промышленность.

  • vi, 88 с. ; Европейское региональное бюро ВОЗ при поддержке правительства Бельгии провело 2–6 июня 1980 г. совещание Рабочей группы по медико-санитарным аспектам захоронения высокорадиоактивных отходов. Это было третье совещание из серии проводимых в Бельгии встреч по медико-санитарным аспектам ядерной энергетики. Цель указанных совещаний состояла в том, чтобы удовлетворить потребность органов здравоохранения й охраны окружающей среды европейских стран в необходимой как им самим, так и населению информации о последствиях для здоровья людей новых разработок в области мирного использования ядерной энергии. Безопасное захоронение высокорадиоактивных отходов привлекает пристальное внимание как государственных органов, так и населения. В настоящей книге представлена значительная часть необходимой информации об этом жизненно важном аспекте ядерной энергетики. Она будет особенно интересна тем странам, которые сейчас.развивают ядерную технологию и промышленность.
