As a result of the conducted analyses, the author concludes that the hitherto and inconsistent interpretations of the notion of industrial property, as well as their detachment from management sciences, and giving them a character proper to legal sciences, gives rise to significant problems in the understanding and implementation of management processes in this area, and more importantly, also in the understanding of the importance and significance of this area for the proper management of a manufacturing enterprise. The author presents the view that the concept of industrial property must be understood more extensively in management sciences and, at the same time, broadly enough to allow for an unambiguous definition of industrial property management that would serve its stakeholders in a key way that does not raise any substantial doubts.

To prove this, the author applied the OLS method of the two variables describing the Environmental Kuznets Curve: GDP per capita and CO2. The results show that GDP per capita reflects the influence of changes in the level of income on environmental pollution in five of the seven countries surveyed.(original abstract)

In order to prevent the increase in costs, both financial and social, changesare being made in the Polish energy sector. An antidote to the crisis in the energy industry, alsothe one caused by the military actions in Ukraine, can be distributed energy from renewable sourcesimplemented by private entities, which the author tries to prove in the article pointing to the factorsof attractiveness of this type of investment. The aim of the article is to identify the factors influencinginvestments in solar energy sources in the area of prosumer energy in Poland. Qualitative research wasused in the study (analysis of existing data, review of literature, legal acts and reports. The researchshows that there are groups of barriers: legal, administrative, financial, social, educational, etc., whichhave an impact on the development of the sector of private investments in renewable energy sourcesin Poland. The basic postulate of the development of investments in the production of energy fromrenewable sources is the departure from energy generation in a few large power plants, in favor ofelectricity production in numerous and small installations scattered throughout the country. Its main objective is to identify the strength of the relation between selected tools of institutionalising the environmental area and the environmental performance a the company. Six tools were analysed: Policy Emissions, Policy Water Efficiency, Policy Energy Efficiency, Policy Sustainable Packaging, Policy Environmental Supply Chain and Environment Management Team. ESG data of companies from the clothing sector obtained from the Refinitiv database were used for the research, which found that the most popular policy is Policy Energy Efficiency, and the least popular, Policy Sustainable Packaging. There is a positive correlation between the tools of institutionalisation of the environmental area and Environmental Score. Policy Emissions, Environment Management Team, and Policy Water Efficiency, are most correlated with environmental performance and should be of particular interest to companies. This research makes an important contribution to the discussion on the effectiveness of tools for institutionalising the environmental area within a company. ; Prace Naukowe Uniwersytetu Ekonomicznego we Wrocławiu = Research Papers of Wrocław University of Economics; 2022; vol. 66, nr 1, s. 115-133 ; Wrocław

The paper uses a simulation method for the payback period of debt financing, enhanced by scenario analysis. The analysis of the payback period of the interest-bearing liabilities indicates a horizon that will not exceed seven years from the end of 2020. This is consistent with the banks’ declarations as to when they will stop financing coal-fired power generation, but this will happen on condition that the energy companies significantly reduce their capital expenditure (actually to the level of replacement expenditure). This scenario, however, rules out a transformation of these concerns to become producers of energy from a broad spectrum of sources, and a systematic increase in the share of renewable energy. ; Prace Naukowe Uniwersytetu Ekonomicznego we Wrocławiu = Research Papers of Wrocław University of Economics; 2022; vol.

; Prace Naukowe Uniwersytetu Ekonomicznego we Wrocławiu = Research Papers of Wrocław University of Economics; 2023; vol. 67, nr 3, s. 21-29 ; Wrocław

For further information contact us at helpdesk@openaire.eudescription Publicationkeyboard_double_arrow_right Article 2022 PolandPublisher:Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Ekonomicznego we Wrocławiu Authors: Korzeb, Zbigniew; Niedziółka, Paweł;The aim of this paper was to verify the hypothesis regarding the positive impact of the changes in credit policies declared by banks in Poland on energy transition by limiting in an absolute sense the exposures to coal-based energy companies.
