    Overview The following dataset presents the energy cycle characteristics for 5G/6G mobile systems supported by Renewable Energy Sources (RES) and/or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RISs). In addition, within the dataset, the energy gain related to the engagement of RES within the Radio Access Network (RAN) has also been distinguished. Scenario The considered network scenario includes 8 three- (_results_gcas.csv) or one-cell (_results_scas.csv & _results_kras.csv) base stations (BSs) placed within the Poznan city (surroundings of the old market) and supported by Renewable Energy Sources — photovoltaic panels (PVs) and/or wind turbines (WTs). The aforementioned base stations can be treated as stationary towers or mobile access points (e.g., drones/UAVs). Those latter have been additionally equipped with RIS devices, which are able to reflect and manipulate a radio signal to influence occurrences such as interferences, coverage, or human exposure. However, the use of RISs has been taken into account only to evaluate the impact of the engagement of such devices on the energy side of the mobile system, omitting the changes in radio characteristics. The network traffic has been assumed to be fixed (64 mobile users (UEs) with 100 Mbps downlink — DL, and 25 Mbps uplink — UL, per each), however, its density in specific parts of the city is modeled randomly for each simulation run. The simulation runs have been performed for 4 dates (vernal equinox, summer solstice, autumn equinox, winter solstice), each one from a different season of the year. The aim of such an approach was to highlight the impact of the time of the day and the year on the energy gain obtained thanks to enabling RES generators. The weather conditions assumed within the simulation are typical for the climate in Poland. Methodology The energy-cycle calculations (system's power consumption, renewable energy production, and excessive energy storage) have been based on the mathematical formulas from the scientific literature and performed within the digital simulation runs by using the Green Radio Access Network Design (GRAND) tool (developed by teams from the Ghent University & Poznan University of Technology). The UE-BS association process within the mobile system has been done by doing multi-objective optimization using the Gurobi software, which has taken into account parameters like path loss, predicted power consumption of BSs, and guaranteed DL & UL bit rates for UEs. Simulation setup The setup of the input parameters for used mathematical models (power consumption, energy generation, energy storage) has been done in accordance with the values attached within the delivered literature positions (cited within the publications included in the Related works section of the following dataset) and adjusted to the considered study. Furthermore, the data used to model the network environment (building distribution, coverage area, base stations' locations) as well as to predict weather conditions are the real data (for the year 2022) collected by the city hall of Poznan, one of the Polish mobile operators, and weather stations placed in Poznan, respectively. The number of simulation runs performed has been equal to 10 (each run has included energy-cycle calculations for 4 seasons of the year), with the time step of a single run set to 1 hour of the day. Results The results of the aforementioned investigations have been included in the attached files, which can be described as follows: File _results_gcas.csv The first column denotes the date (season of the year), for which the values have been obtained. The columns from second to fifth present observed values of the State of Charge (SoC) of a battery system (in %) for a single network cell on average in a time step. Those columns are the obtained values for the RAN, in which no RES, only PVs, only WTs, and both types of RES generators have been enabled, respectively. Files _results_scas.csv & _results_kras.csv The first column denotes the date (season of the year), for which the values have been obtained. The second and third columns denote the number of drone base station (DBS) exchanges within the wireless system on average in a particular time step, where no RES and only PVs are enabled, respectively. The fourth and fifth columns present the conventional (fossil-fuels-based) energy consumption (in kWh) for the whole system in a specific time step, in which no RES and only PVs are engaged for all the access nodes. The sixth column is the energy savings (in kWh) related to the use of RES generators within the mobile network. Furthermore, the seventh and eighth columns represent the amount of renewable energy harvested from the solar radiation in total and the peak value of this amount observed during the entire day, respectively.     This data set describes the population dynamics of Wilson's Storm Petrels (Oceanites oceanicus) at King George Island (Isla 25 de Mayo, Antarctica) over a forty year period (1978 – 2020). It includes all available data on Wilson's Storm Petrels from two colonies: around the Argentinian Base Carlini (62°14′S, 58°40′W; CA, formerly called Base Jubany) and the Henryk Arctowski Polish Antarctic Station (62°09′S, 58°27′W; HA). Data on population productivity (number of nests, eggs, chicks and fledglings) was collected by regular visits to the colonies and searching for nest burrows, or monitoring of the egg or chick if found. Data on adult abundance and estimated age categories (i.e., presence of foot spots; Quillfeldt et al. (2000, doi:10.1007/s003000000167) were collected at CA by using the same size mistnet every study year in the same location within the breeding colony. Chicks were measured regularly (varying intervals depending on the study) at both CA and HA. Chick tarsus was measured using callipers (vernier or digital depending on the study year) to the nearest 0.1 mm, chick wing length was measured using wing rulers to the nearest 1 mm, and chick body mass was measured using mechanical or digital scales depending on the study year to the nearest 0.1 g. Chick growth rates were calculated based on the linear growth period following Ausems et al. (2020, doi:10.1016/j.scitotenv.2020.138768). Chick food loads (g) were recorded at CA and determined based on changes in chick body mass on consecutive days (Gladbach et al. (2009, doi:10.1007/s00300-009-0628-z); Kuepper et al. (2018, doi:10.1016/j.cbpa.2018.06.018). This study was further supported by the Erasmus+ programm and thee German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)

    This paper evaluated the environmental effects of socially responsible investments (SRIs) in European countries and analyzed the differentiation between them in terms of SRIs and selected features in the environmental dimension. The first section of the paper discusses contemporary trends in Europe and in certain European countries, whilst the second compares SR environmental investments and environmental factors in selected European countries from a multidimensional perspective. The aim of the study was to identify and evaluate these trends as well as to find similarities and differences between European countries, and subsequently to indicate groups of countries with similar approaches to pro-ecological investments. In order to solve the problem, descriptive and multidimensional statistical methods were used, namely correspondence analysis (CA). Although the research results clearly revealed upward tendencies in the volume of SR environmental investments in the analyzed period, they nonetheless represent a relatively low share in the total number of socially responsible investments. The overall growth in SRIs in Europe may have resulted from the more intense activities of policymakers in some countries as a consequence of concluding agreements reached during the 21st Conference of the Parties (COP21) in 2015. The results of the study also revealed no significant correlations between SR environmental investments and environmental variables among the European countries analyzed; hence, there is no substantial evidence that investors’ assets contribute to the improvement of the environment.

    Periods of no activity between 02.00 and 10.00 and lasting for up 7 h 40 min are reported for two captive Crocidura flavescens (I. Geoffroy, 1827). During on of the these periods, the weight specific energy requirement of the shrew dropped to 25.1% of the usual, indicating a period of spontaneous torpor. Nest-box temperatures also drop during the periods of prolonged inactivity suggesting a lowered body temperature. Data for a younger animal suggest shorter periods of torpor. The timing of the torpor spans the coldest period of the day when the animal would expend most energy maintaining a constans body temperature.

    This study focuses on formulating the most sustainable concrete by incorporating recycled concrete aggregates and other products retrieved from construction and demolition (C&D) activities. Both recycled coarse aggregates (RCA) and recycled fine aggregates (RFA) are firstly used to fully replace the natural coarse and fine aggregates in the concrete mix design. Later, the cement rich ultrafine particles, recycled glass powder and mineral fibres recovered from construction and demolition wastes (CDW) are further incorporated at a smaller rate either as cement substituent or as supplementary additives. Remarkable properties are noticed when the RCA (4–12 mm) and RFA (0.25–4 mm) are fully used to replace the natural aggregates in a new concrete mix. The addition of recycled cement rich ultrafines (RCU), Recycled glass ultrafines (RGU) and recycled mineral fibres (RMF) into recycled concrete improves the modulus of elasticity. The final concrete, which comprises more than 75% (wt.) of recycled components/materials, is believed to be the most sustainable and green concrete mix. Mechanical properties and durability of this concrete have been studied and found to be within acceptable limits, indicating the potential of recycled aggregates and other CDW components in shaping sustainable and circular construction practices.     IT technologies related to Industry 4.0 facilitate the implementation of the framework for sustainable manufacturing. At the same time, Industry 4.0 integrates IT processes and systems of production companies with IT solutions of cooperating companies that support a complete manufactured product life cycle. Thus, the implementation of sustainable manufacturing implies a rapid increase in interfaces between IT solutions of cooperating companies. This, in turn, raises concerns about security among manufacturing company executives. The lack of a recognized methodology supporting the decision-making process of choosing the right methods and means of cybersecurity is, in effect, a significant barrier to the development of sustainable manufacturing. As a result, the propagation of technologies in Industry 4.0 and the implementation of the sustainable manufacturing framework in companies are slowing down significantly. The main novelty of this article, addressing the above deficiencies, is the creation, using the combined DEMATEL and ANP (DANP) and PROMETHEE II methods, of a ranking of the proposed three groups of measures, seven dimensions and twenty criteria to be implemented in companies to ensure cybersecurity in Industry 4.0 and facilitate the implementation of the sustainable production principles. The contribution of Industry 4.0 components and the proposed cybersecurity scheme to achieve the Sustainable Development goals, reducing the carbon footprint of companies and introducing circular economy elements was also indicated. Using DANP and PROMETHEE II, it can be concluded that: (i) the major criterion of cybersecurity in companies is validation and maintaining electronic signatures and seals; (ii) the most crucial area of cybersecurity is network security; (iii) the most significant group of measures in this regard are technological measures.

    Abstract. Reliable quantification of the sources and sinks of greenhouse gases, together with trends and uncertainties, is essential to monitoring the progress in mitigating anthropogenic emissions under the Paris Agreement. This study provides a consolidated synthesis of CH4 and N2O emissions with consistently derived state-of-the-art bottom-up (BU) and top-down (TD) data sources for the European Union and UK (EU27+UK). We integrate recent emission inventory data, ecosystem process-based model results, and inverse modelling estimates over the period 1990–2018. BU and TD products are compared with European National GHG Inventories (NGHGI) reported to the UN climate convention secretariat UNFCCC in 2019. For uncertainties, we used for NGHGI the standard deviation obtained by varying parameters of inventory calculations, reported by the Member States following the IPCC guidelines recommendations. For atmospheric inversion models (TD) or other inventory datasets (BU), we defined uncertainties from the spread between different model estimates or model specific uncertainties when reported. In comparing NGHGI with other approaches, a key source of bias is the activities included, e.g. anthropogenic versus anthropogenic plus natural fluxes. In inversions, the separation between anthropogenic and natural emissions is sensitive to the geospatial prior distribution of emissions. Over the 2011–2015 period, which is the common denominator of data availability between all sources, the anthropogenic BU approaches are directly comparable, reporting mean emissions of 20.8 Tg CH4 yr−1 (EDGAR v5.0) and 19.0 Tg CH4 yr−1 (GAINS), consistent with the NGHGI estimates of 18.9 ± 1.7 Tg CH4 yr−1. TD total inversions estimates give higher emission estimates, as they also include natural emissions. Over the same period regional TD inversions with higher resolution atmospheric transport models give a mean emission of 28.8 Tg CH4 yr−1. Coarser resolution global TD inversions are consistent with regional TD inversions, for global inversions with GOSAT satellite data (23.3 Tg CH4yr−1) and surface network (24.4 Tg CH4 yr−1). The magnitude of natural peatland emissions from the JSBACH-HIMMELI model, natural rivers and lakes emissions and geological sources together account for the gap between NGHGI and inversions and account for 5.2 Tg CH4 yr−1. For N2O emissions, over the 2011–2015 period, both BU approaches (EDGAR v5.0 and GAINS) give a mean value of anthropogenic emissions of 0.8 and 0.9 Tg N2O yr−1 respectively, agreeing with the NGHGI data (0.9 ± 0.6 Tg N2O yr−1). Over the same period, the average of the three total TD global and regional inversions was 1.3 ± 0.4 and 1.3 ± 0.1 Tg N2O yr−1 respectively, compared to 0.9 Tg N2O yr−1 from the BU data. The TU and BU comparison method defined in this study can be operationalized for future yearly updates for the calculation of CH4 and N2O budgets both at EU+UK scale and at national scale.     Our study aims to analyze factors determining the green brand equity (GBE) based on a systematic literature review (SLR) according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) statement. We posed 3 research questions and searched five databases (Scopus, Web of Sciences, Google Scholar, EBSCO, and Elsevier) for studies containing the term ‘green brand equity’ and the combination of two terms: ‘brand equity’ and ‘green’. Additionally, the backward and forward snowballing methods were applied. In our SLR, we included empirical studies published between 2006 and 2021 as peer-reviewed papers in English. Exclusion criteria included studies with theoretical models, studies describing brand equity not related to GBE, Ph.D. thesis, short reports, workshop papers, practice guidelines, book chapters, reviews, and conference publications. Finally, 33 articles were analyzed as part of the SLR in two fields: general information (authorship, year of publication, type of study, research country or location, sample size, and product categories), and research specifications (factors or variables, number and type of hypotheses, scale or measurement items, type of statistical analysis, and selected indicators of statistical methods). Image, trust, value, satisfaction, and loyalty appeared to be the most studied determinants of GBE. Less frequently analyzed were quality, awareness, attributes, particular promotional activities, and the fact of purchase. The results obtained are important in practical terms, showing what to consider when creating GBE in different categories of products and services.

    Overview The following dataset presents the energy cycle characteristics for 5G/6G mobile systems supported by Renewable Energy Sources (RES) and/or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RISs). In addition, within the dataset, the energy gain related to the engagement of RES within the Radio Access Network (RAN) has also been distinguished. Scenario The considered network scenario includes 8 three- (_results_gcas.csv) or one-cell (_results_scas.csv & _results_kras.csv) base stations (BSs) placed within the Poznan city (surroundings of the old market) and supported by Renewable Energy Sources — photovoltaic panels (PVs) and/or wind turbines (WTs). The aforementioned base stations can be treated as stationary towers or mobile access points (e.g., drones/UAVs). Those latter have been additionally equipped with RIS devices, which are able to reflect and manipulate a radio signal to influence occurrences such as interferences, coverage, or human exposure. However, the use of RISs has been taken into account only to evaluate the impact of the engagement of such devices on the energy side of the mobile system, omitting the changes in radio characteristics. The network traffic has been assumed to be fixed (64 mobile users (UEs) with 100 Mbps downlink — DL, and 25 Mbps uplink — UL, per each), however, its density in specific parts of the city is modeled randomly for each simulation run. The simulation runs have been performed for 4 dates (vernal equinox, summer solstice, autumn equinox, winter solstice), each one from a different season of the year. The aim of such an approach was to highlight the impact of the time of the day and the year on the energy gain obtained thanks to enabling RES generators. The weather conditions assumed within the simulation are typical for the climate in Poland. Methodology The energy-cycle calculations (system's power consumption, renewable energy production, and excessive energy storage) have been based on the mathematical formulas from the scientific literature and performed within the digital simulation runs by using the Green Radio Access Network Design (GRAND) tool (developed by teams from the Ghent University & Poznan University of Technology). The UE-BS association process within the mobile system has been done by doing multi-objective optimization using the Gurobi software, which has taken into account parameters like path loss, predicted power consumption of BSs, and guaranteed DL & UL bit rates for UEs. Simulation setup The setup of the input parameters for used mathematical models (power consumption, energy generation, energy storage) has been done in accordance with the values attached within the delivered literature positions (cited within the publications included in the Related works section of the following dataset) and adjusted to the considered study. Furthermore, the data used to model the network environment (building distribution, coverage area, base stations' locations) as well as to predict weather conditions are the real data (for the year 2022) collected by the city hall of Poznan, one of the Polish mobile operators, and weather stations placed in Poznan, respectively. The number of simulation runs performed has been equal to 10 (each run has included energy-cycle calculations for 4 seasons of the year), with the time step of a single run set to 1 hour of the day. Results The results of the aforementioned investigations have been included in the attached files, which can be described as follows: File _results_gcas.csv The first column denotes the date (season of the year), for which the values have been obtained. The columns from second to fifth present observed values of the State of Charge (SoC) of a battery system (in %) for a single network cell on average in a time step. Those columns are the obtained values for the RAN, in which no RES, only PVs, only WTs, and both types of RES generators have been enabled, respectively. Files _results_scas.csv & _results_kras.csv The first column denotes the date (season of the year), for which the values have been obtained. The second and third columns denote the number of drone base station (DBS) exchanges within the wireless system on average in a particular time step, where no RES and only PVs are enabled, respectively. The fourth and fifth columns present the conventional (fossil-fuels-based) energy consumption (in kWh) for the whole system in a specific time step, in which no RES and only PVs are engaged for all the access nodes. The sixth column is the energy savings (in kWh) related to the use of RES generators within the mobile network. Furthermore, the seventh and eighth columns represent the amount of renewable energy harvested from the solar radiation in total and the peak value of this amount observed during the entire day, respectively.     This data set describes the population dynamics of Wilson's Storm Petrels (Oceanites oceanicus) at King George Island (Isla 25 de Mayo, Antarctica) over a forty year period (1978 – 2020). It includes all available data on Wilson's Storm Petrels from two colonies: around the Argentinian Base Carlini (62°14′S, 58°40′W; CA, formerly called Base Jubany) and the Henryk Arctowski Polish Antarctic Station (62°09′S, 58°27′W; HA). Data on population productivity (number of nests, eggs, chicks and fledglings) was collected by regular visits to the colonies and searching for nest burrows, or monitoring of the egg or chick if found. Data on adult abundance and estimated age categories (i.e., presence of foot spots; Quillfeldt et al. (2000, doi:10.1007/s003000000167) were collected at CA by using the same size mistnet every study year in the same location within the breeding colony. Chicks were measured regularly (varying intervals depending on the study) at both CA and HA. Chick tarsus was measured using callipers (vernier or digital depending on the study year) to the nearest 0.1 mm, chick wing length was measured using wing rulers to the nearest 1 mm, and chick body mass was measured using mechanical or digital scales depending on the study year to the nearest 0.1 g. Chick growth rates were calculated based on the linear growth period following Ausems et al. (2020, doi:10.1016/j.scitotenv.2020.138768). Chick food loads (g) were recorded at CA and determined based on changes in chick body mass on consecutive days (Gladbach et al. (2009, doi:10.1007/s00300-009-0628-z); Kuepper et al. (2018, doi:10.1016/j.cbpa.2018.06.018). This study was further supported by the Erasmus+ programm and thee German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)

    This paper evaluated the environmental effects of socially responsible investments (SRIs) in European countries and analyzed the differentiation between them in terms of SRIs and selected features in the environmental dimension. The first section of the paper discusses contemporary trends in Europe and in certain European countries, whilst the second compares SR environmental investments and environmental factors in selected European countries from a multidimensional perspective. The aim of the study was to identify and evaluate these trends as well as to find similarities and differences between European countries, and subsequently to indicate groups of countries with similar approaches to pro-ecological investments. In order to solve the problem, descriptive and multidimensional statistical methods were used, namely correspondence analysis (CA). Although the research results clearly revealed upward tendencies in the volume of SR environmental investments in the analyzed period, they nonetheless represent a relatively low share in the total number of socially responsible investments. The overall growth in SRIs in Europe may have resulted from the more intense activities of policymakers in some countries as a consequence of concluding agreements reached during the 21st Conference of the Parties (COP21) in 2015. The results of the study also revealed no significant correlations between SR environmental investments and environmental variables among the European countries analyzed; hence, there is no substantial evidence that investors’ assets contribute to the improvement of the environment.

    Periods of no activity between 02.00 and 10.00 and lasting for up 7 h 40 min are reported for two captive Crocidura flavescens (I. Geoffroy, 1827). During on of the these periods, the weight specific energy requirement of the shrew dropped to 25.1% of the usual, indicating a period of spontaneous torpor. Nest-box temperatures also drop during the periods of prolonged inactivity suggesting a lowered body temperature. Data for a younger animal suggest shorter periods of torpor. The timing of the torpor spans the coldest period of the day when the animal would expend most energy maintaining a constans body temperature.

    This study focuses on formulating the most sustainable concrete by incorporating recycled concrete aggregates and other products retrieved from construction and demolition (C&D) activities. Both recycled coarse aggregates (RCA) and recycled fine aggregates (RFA) are firstly used to fully replace the natural coarse and fine aggregates in the concrete mix design. Later, the cement rich ultrafine particles, recycled glass powder and mineral fibres recovered from construction and demolition wastes (CDW) are further incorporated at a smaller rate either as cement substituent or as supplementary additives. Remarkable properties are noticed when the RCA (4–12 mm) and RFA (0.25–4 mm) are fully used to replace the natural aggregates in a new concrete mix. The addition of recycled cement rich ultrafines (RCU), Recycled glass ultrafines (RGU) and recycled mineral fibres (RMF) into recycled concrete improves the modulus of elasticity. The final concrete, which comprises more than 75% (wt.) of recycled components/materials, is believed to be the most sustainable and green concrete mix. Mechanical properties and durability of this concrete have been studied and found to be within acceptable limits, indicating the potential of recycled aggregates and other CDW components in shaping sustainable and circular construction practices.     IT technologies related to Industry 4.0 facilitate the implementation of the framework for sustainable manufacturing. At the same time, Industry 4.0 integrates IT processes and systems of production companies with IT solutions of cooperating companies that support a complete manufactured product life cycle. Thus, the implementation of sustainable manufacturing implies a rapid increase in interfaces between IT solutions of cooperating companies. This, in turn, raises concerns about security among manufacturing company executives. The lack of a recognized methodology supporting the decision-making process of choosing the right methods and means of cybersecurity is, in effect, a significant barrier to the development of sustainable manufacturing. As a result, the propagation of technologies in Industry 4.0 and the implementation of the sustainable manufacturing framework in companies are slowing down significantly. The main novelty of this article, addressing the above deficiencies, is the creation, using the combined DEMATEL and ANP (DANP) and PROMETHEE II methods, of a ranking of the proposed three groups of measures, seven dimensions and twenty criteria to be implemented in companies to ensure cybersecurity in Industry 4.0 and facilitate the implementation of the sustainable production principles. The contribution of Industry 4.0 components and the proposed cybersecurity scheme to achieve the Sustainable Development goals, reducing the carbon footprint of companies and introducing circular economy elements was also indicated. Using DANP and PROMETHEE II, it can be concluded that: (i) the major criterion of cybersecurity in companies is validation and maintaining electronic signatures and seals; (ii) the most crucial area of cybersecurity is network security; (iii) the most significant group of measures in this regard are technological measures.

    Abstract. Reliable quantification of the sources and sinks of greenhouse gases, together with trends and uncertainties, is essential to monitoring the progress in mitigating anthropogenic emissions under the Paris Agreement. This study provides a consolidated synthesis of CH4 and N2O emissions with consistently derived state-of-the-art bottom-up (BU) and top-down (TD) data sources for the European Union and UK (EU27+UK). We integrate recent emission inventory data, ecosystem process-based model results, and inverse modelling estimates over the period 1990–2018. BU and TD products are compared with European National GHG Inventories (NGHGI) reported to the UN climate convention secretariat UNFCCC in 2019. For uncertainties, we used for NGHGI the standard deviation obtained by varying parameters of inventory calculations, reported by the Member States following the IPCC guidelines recommendations. For atmospheric inversion models (TD) or other inventory datasets (BU), we defined uncertainties from the spread between different model estimates or model specific uncertainties when reported. In comparing NGHGI with other approaches, a key source of bias is the activities included, e.g. anthropogenic versus anthropogenic plus natural fluxes. In inversions, the separation between anthropogenic and natural emissions is sensitive to the geospatial prior distribution of emissions. Over the 2011–2015 period, which is the common denominator of data availability between all sources, the anthropogenic BU approaches are directly comparable, reporting mean emissions of 20.8 Tg CH4 yr−1 (EDGAR v5.0) and 19.0 Tg CH4 yr−1 (GAINS), consistent with the NGHGI estimates of 18.9 ± 1.7 Tg CH4 yr−1. TD total inversions estimates give higher emission estimates, as they also include natural emissions. Over the same period regional TD inversions with higher resolution atmospheric transport models give a mean emission of 28.8 Tg CH4 yr−1. Coarser resolution global TD inversions are consistent with regional TD inversions, for global inversions with GOSAT satellite data (23.3 Tg CH4yr−1) and surface network (24.4 Tg CH4 yr−1). The magnitude of natural peatland emissions from the JSBACH-HIMMELI model, natural rivers and lakes emissions and geological sources together account for the gap between NGHGI and inversions and account for 5.2 Tg CH4 yr−1. For N2O emissions, over the 2011–2015 period, both BU approaches (EDGAR v5.0 and GAINS) give a mean value of anthropogenic emissions of 0.8 and 0.9 Tg N2O yr−1 respectively, agreeing with the NGHGI data (0.9 ± 0.6 Tg N2O yr−1). Over the same period, the average of the three total TD global and regional inversions was 1.3 ± 0.4 and 1.3 ± 0.1 Tg N2O yr−1 respectively, compared to 0.9 Tg N2O yr−1 from the BU data. The TU and BU comparison method defined in this study can be operationalized for future yearly updates for the calculation of CH4 and N2O budgets both at EU+UK scale and at national scale.     Our study aims to analyze factors determining the green brand equity (GBE) based on a systematic literature review (SLR) according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) statement. We posed 3 research questions and searched five databases (Scopus, Web of Sciences, Google Scholar, EBSCO, and Elsevier) for studies containing the term ‘green brand equity’ and the combination of two terms: ‘brand equity’ and ‘green’. Additionally, the backward and forward snowballing methods were applied. In our SLR, we included empirical studies published between 2006 and 2021 as peer-reviewed papers in English. Exclusion criteria included studies with theoretical models, studies describing brand equity not related to GBE, Ph.D. thesis, short reports, workshop papers, practice guidelines, book chapters, reviews, and conference publications. Finally, 33 articles were analyzed as part of the SLR in two fields: general information (authorship, year of publication, type of study, research country or location, sample size, and product categories), and research specifications (factors or variables, number and type of hypotheses, scale or measurement items, type of statistical analysis, and selected indicators of statistical methods). Image, trust, value, satisfaction, and loyalty appeared to be the most studied determinants of GBE. Less frequently analyzed were quality, awareness, attributes, particular promotional activities, and the fact of purchase. The results obtained are important in practical terms, showing what to consider when creating GBE in different categories of products and services.
