    Aile, toplumun en küçük yapı taşıdır. İnsan için evlenmek ve aile kurmak hem tabii bir ihtiyaç hem de dini birgörevdir. İnsan, dünya ve ahiret için mutluluk kaynağı olan aile müessesesini, ömür boyu devam ettirebilmek için aile içi iletişime dikkat etmelidir. Bu çalışmada Tanzimat'tan Cumhuriyet'in ilanına kadar olan süreçte yayınlanan ahlak ve aile konulu kitaplara göre, Osmanlı'da aile içi iletişimde bireylerin uyması gereken görevlere ve sorumluluklara yer verilecektir. Bu görev ve sorumluluklar eşierin birbirlerine kar- şı, anne-babanın eviadına karşı, evladın anne-babasına karşı ve kardeşlerin birbirlerine karşı görevleri ve sorumlulukları olmak üzere dört başlık altında ele alınacaktır.

    Hiai 10 ve miladi 16. yüzyılda yaşayan büyük Şafii fakihi Hatib eş-Şirbini ( ö. 977/ 1569) Fıkıh, Tefsir, Hadis, Akide, Nahiv ve diğer ilim dallannda en az 24 kitap kaleme alan çok yönlü bir alimdir. Daha çok fıkıh yö- nüyle öne çıkmış olup Şafi mezhebinde büyük bir itibara sahiptir ve fetva sıralamasında büyük Şafii fakihi Zekeriya ei-Ensan'den hemen sonra gelmektedir. Fıkıhteki en meşhur kitaplanndan el-ikna ile Muğni'IMuhtac ilim çevrelerince büyük ilgi görmüş, ilki Ezher Üniversitesi'nin Use, ikincisi Fakülte seviyesinde ders kitabı yapılmıştır. İmam Nevevi'nin Şafilerce hemen en muteber fıkıh metni sayılan el-Minhac üzerine kaleme aldığı Muğni'I-Muhtac sözkonusu metnin üslup ve ifade bakımından da çok güzel orta üzeri uzunlukta bir şerhtir. Kitap ülkemiz şafiierince aynı ilgi ve itibara sahiptir.
