apps Other research product2011 IndonesiaAuthors: Pardede, Kristina;Biogas is a gas that can be produced from anaerobic fermentation of organic material such as animal and human’s feces, biomass or agricultural waste. In this research the biogas was produced from mixture of fruits garbage and some agricultural wastes: i.c corn stalk, rice straw and sawdust. The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of the mixture using non factorial completely randomized design with parameters as follow : final C/N ratio, the first time to produce gas, pressure, colour of flame and duration of flame. The results indicated that the mixture gave significant effect on the final C/N ratio and not significant effect on the first time to produce gas, pressure, colour of flame and duration of flame. 040308018

This study utilized adidif patchouli oil as biodiesel fuel, in the research conducted and the blending of biodiesel in diesel fuel additives to decrease emissions in an effort to improve the quality of diesel fuel petrodisel to get a new fuel low emissions. Essential oil obtained by using hidrodestilasi Stahl, diblending with biosolar fuel (B20) which is a mixtureof solar/biofuel (80/20,v/v), where biodieselis done via transesterification with methanol RBDPO using KOH catalyst. Patchouli oil mixing additives with biosolar done kosentrasi 0,1%, 0,2%, 0,3% and 0,4%. Yield and essential oil blends made biosolar test covering the characteristic density, viscosity, flame counter point, water andgas emission(CO2, CO, HC, O2 and NOx)Characteristics of the test results carried out, the value of density, viscosity, and water content to meet the characteristics of diesel as a comparison and meet the specification limits solar. Flash point value is still higher than the flash point of diesel asfor comparison reduction of CO2, CO, HC, O2 and NOx based on the calculation of CO2 rose by 0.16%, CO, HC and O2 fell 0.06%, 0.33%, , 0.2% and up 0.05% NOx, emissions containing CO2, CO, HC, O2 and NOx resulting mixture Patchouli Oil additives and biodiesel. of this study indicate that the addition of additives for reducing emissions that fuel biodiesel and additives Patchouli Oil is an environmentally friendly fuel. 107006014
