Development of proposals for adapting the existing methodology for calculating the available throughput to the operating conditions of the railways of Uzbekistan, taking into account the factors that ensure traffic safety when passing high-speed passenger trains. Methods: Grapho-analytical approaches and a comparative analysis method were used to determine the throughput of railway lines with mixed train traffic. Results: The main factors influencing the capacity of lines, advantages and disadvantages for each existing method for determining the capacity of railway lines are given. To assess the quality of transportation processes on railway lines, experimental train schedules were constructed. Based on the analysis of their indicators, a formula was proposed for calculating the throughput on double-track lines when passing high-speed passenger trains. Practical significance: The application of the proposed methodology improves the calculations of the performance indicators of sections with an unparalleled train schedule.

Poor infrastructure quality hinders the country's stable economic growth and competitiveness in international markets. The quality of life declines when the infrastructure is underdeveloped. Public-private partnership allows attracting additional sources of funding and receiving additional privileges from the state. Public-private partnerships in infrastructure benefit the economy, national politics, the private sector, as well as the population. The article examines the features of the formation and development of public-private partnerships in the development of the national economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The directions of innovative development are selected. The problems that require solutions for the continuous development of an innovative economy are identified. The aim of the study is to reveal the essence of public-private partnership in infrastructure, analyze the current state and its role, place in the economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The object of the research is economic relations in relation to public-private partnerships associated with the process of communication between the state and interested individuals, legal entities and international organizations. The subject of the research is the economic, social, legal aspect of the functioning of the forms of public-private partnership in the implementation of the functions of the state. The methodology laid the foundations for general scientific methods, general logical methods of cognition, systemic, logical, analysis, synthesis, deduction and induction, modeling and other methods. Based on the results of the study, conclusions were drawn to increase the attractiveness of PPP implementation in infrastructure.

The agro-industrial complex (AIC) is becoming one of the main in the economy of Uzbekistan. In recent years, work has been carried out to reform it fundamentally. The normative and legal framework for its functioning has been formed, public administration has been improved. The market mechanism of management is being introduced. Investments are attracted. The structure of acreage is optimized by reducing cotton crops and placing fruit and vegetable crops on them. New intensive gardens and vineyards are being created, innovative greenhouses are being built. Work is carried out on construction and reconstruction of collectors and hydraulic structures, refrigeration chambers for fruit and vegetable products’ storage, introduction of new equipment and technologies in it. The processing industry is developing, the volume and range of products is increasing, including innovative and its export. Integration of producers and processors of agricultural products is intensifying. At the same time, there are still significant reserves in the agro-industrial complex of Uzbekistan. The efficiency in natural resources’ use is low. The irrigated agricultural land are is small. The technical and digital equipment of personal subsidiary farms and labor productivity in them are low. Uzbekistan is implementing a course for innovative development. The President of the Republic approved the Strategy for the agriculture development of the republic for 2020-2030. It sets the tasks of significant increase in the production and processing of agricultural products, expanding its range due to new types of products and its exports. The strategy is successfully executed. Nevertheless, it is necessary to improve the state management of the agro-industrial complex, the introduction of the market management mechanism, the development of interactions between the complex’s branches, strengthening export potential of the complex, introduction of innovations, digitalization of enterprises’ activities.

This article analyzes the current state of the stock-raising industry in Uzbekistan and highlights the problems in this area. The study revealed that the livestock sector is quite developed in the republic, it accounts for 50.5% of agricultural products produced in the country. The main feature of the sector is that most of the livestock products are produced in small family (dekhkan) farms, which is of great social importance, since it is an important source of income and consumption for a significant number of families. However, the small size of the overwhelming majority of livestock farms determines limited opportunities for the effective development of the industry.

The article analyzes the technical condition of urban reinforced concrete bridge structures. The authors studied the technical passports of all bridges and overpasses in Tashkent and made direct technical inspections of more than 10 bridge structures. As a result, most of the shortcomings and defects of the existing bridge structures in the city were revealed. In Tashkent, there is a significant number of reinforced concrete bridge structures, the service life of 60 to 100 years (24% of the total number), a significant part of which (42%) has been operated for many years without major repairs. A "four-level" approach is proposed, which contains four stages of analysis, and evaluates the technical condition of the operated reinforced concrete bridge structures.

In today’s global economy, the importance of environmental and social responsibility is constantly growing. There are thousands of environmental and social standards and guidelines around the world today. These guidelines and standards define requirements and objectives. However, the main problem is their practical implementation and implementation. The Environmental and Social Management System (ESMS) enables companies to integrate the requirements of these guidelines and standards into their operations by organizing a set of well- defined, iterative processes. One aspect of this system is the remuneration system. On the basis of content analysis and analysis of statistical data, the authors develop proposals for improving this system.

The article is a study of the process of formation of the organizational and legal mechanism for ensuring environmental safety in the Russian Federation, as well as an analysis of a number of urgent problems arising in the implementation of the state environmental policy by the country. The authors’ study is interdisciplinary in nature and includes not only a legal analysis of regulatory acts adopted by the Russian state in order to ensure environmental safety, but also some assessments of an economic and natural-scientific (environmental) nature related to the functioning of resource-extracting sectors of Russian industry and their impact on state of the environment. Considerable attention is paid to the worldview aspects of the topic under study. The role of the territories of the Russian Federation not disturbed by economic activity in maintaining the sustainability of the global ecosystem is emphasized.

In a difficult situation, with the unstable economic situation in the world, in a number of countries, the main element of increasing the economic activity of commodity producers is an extensive study of the activities, in terms of the importance of production, of certain types of products in the food sector. The study is very relevant, it determines the importance of potatoes as a food crop and commodity. Ways of ensuring a reliable system of operation of the potato growing sector are being investigated. The potato growing sector is of great importance, potatoes are one of the popular food crops that create stability and support a nutritious diet for the country's population. The development of the potato sector is based on the trends of the general economic development of the country and it should be emphasized such factors as the state economic policy and strategy for the development of the agricultural sector, trends in demographic development in rural areas, the current state of the production system, industry-wide trends in the functioning of the potato market in the country and in the world. The study examined the modern place of potatoes in the human diet, and the importance of potatoes in food and economic value for the population of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
