Geleceğe yönelik güvenilir planlamalar yapabilmek için yeraltı ocaklarının havalandırma ile ilişkili olan veri seti parametreleri dikkatli bir şekilde oluşturulmalıdır. Bu çalışmada, bir yeraltı maden ocağı havalandırma şebekesinin bilgisayar ortamında tasarlanması için Ventsim® havalandırma benzetim programı kullanılmıştır. Havalandırma ölçümlerine ilişkin değerler, Eskişehir ili Mihalıççık ilçesinde bulunan Adularya Madencilik Enerji A.Ş.’ye ait yeraltı kömür madeninden alınmıştır. Bu veri seti kullanılarak havalandırma tasarımı yapılmış ve elde edilen sonuçlar gerçek değerlerle karşılaştırılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, tasarım sonuçlarının gerçeğe yakın olduğu ve tasarımın başarılı olduğu belirlenmiştir. Computer aided ventilation design for underground mines has a vital importance. The data set parameters associated with the ventilation of underground mines must be carefully constructed to ensure reliable future planning. In this work, the Ventsim® ventilation simulation program was used to design an underground mine ventilation network in a computer environment. The values of the ventilation measurements were taken from the underground coal mine of Adularya Mining Energy Trade Corporation located in Mihalıçcık, Eskişehir province. Ventilation design was performed using this data set and the results obtained were compared with actual values. As a result, it has been determined that the design results are close to reality and the design is successful.

Mısır tarımının yaygınlaşması Mısır koçan kurdu, Sesamia nonagrioides ve Mısır kurdu, Ostrinia nubilalisgibi zararlıların popülasyon düzeyinde önemli artışlara neden olmakta ve bu zararlılarla mücadelenin önemini ön plana çıkarmaktadır. Bu zararlılara karşı mücadelede genel olarak insektisitlere (organik fosfatlar ve pyrethrin) geniş yer verilmektedir. Ancak bu kimyasallar zararlıların popülasyon oranını azaltmakla beraber, çevre ve insan sağlığı için büyük tehditler oluşturmaktadır. S. nonagrioides ve O. nubilalis’e karşı mücadelede biyoteknik (Feromon tuzaklar),biyolojik (Entomopatojen fungus, Entomopatojen nematod, Entomopatojen bakteri, Yumurta-Larva-Pupa parazitoidleri) ve popüler bir uygulama olan Bt mısırgibi yöntemler kullanılmaktadır. Bu yöntemler adı geçen zararlılara karşı etkili bir mücadelede oluştursa da böceklerin direnç geliştirme mekanizmaları dikkate alınmalı ve yeni alternatif yöntem arayışları devam ettirilmelidir. In recent years, maize takes part quite wide with very diffrent possibility in agriculture. The spread of maize cultivation cause significant increases at population level suhc as pests Mediterrenean corn borer, Sesamia nonagrioidesand European corn borer, Ostrina nubilalis. The fight against this pests used generally insecticides (organicphosphates andpyrethrin). However,withthese chemicalsprevents rise the number of pests are major threats to the environment and human health. To the fight against S. nonagrioides and O. nubilalis used biotechnique (Pheromone traps), biologic (Entomopathogen fungi, Entomopathogen nematodes, Entomopathogen bacteria, Egg-Larval-Pupa parazitoids) and bt-maize as a populer application.These methods are mentioned in the fight against pests constitutes an effective mechanism should be considered in the development of resistance to insects and should continue the search for new alternative methods.

Bu iyileştirme yöntemi, taşıma gücünün arttırılması, oturmaların azaltılması, sıvılaşma potansiyelinin azaltılması ve şevlerin stabilitelerinin arttırılması amacı ile kullanılmaktadır. Bu çalışma kapsamında, taş kolonların tasarımı yapılırken önem arz eden taş kolonlarda alan yerleşim oranlarının (Ac/A) ve kolonlar arası mesafenin (s/dc) değişimi ile serbest basınç mukavemetlerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla laboratuvar model deneylerinin yapılması hedeflenmiştir. Farklı çaplarda oluşturulmuş kil numunesinin merkezine açılan sabit çaptaki dairesel boşluklara kum zemin yerleştirilerek taş kolonlar oluşturulmuş ve serbest basınç deneyleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sonuçlara göre göre, Ac/A oranı 0.08 ve s/dc oranı 3.10 olması durumunda, en yüksek serbest basınç mukavemetine ulaşıldığı belirlenmiştir. Buna bağlı olarak Ac/A ve s/dc oranlarının optimum değerlerinin yaklaşık olarak sırasıyla 0.08 ve 3.10 civarında olduğu bulunmuştur. It is an improvement method that has gained importance in recent years for the improvement of soft clay, silt and loose sand with stone columns. This healing method is used with the aim of increasing the bearing capacity, reducing seats, reducing liquefaction potential and increasing slopes stability. In this study, it was aimed to perform laboratory model experiments in order to determine important stone column area replacement ratios (Ac/A) and column spacing (s/dc). Stone columns were formed by placing a sand bed on the fixed circular cavities which opened to the center of the clay sample formed at different diameters and unconfined compression test was carried out. According to the results, when the Ac/A ratio is 0.08 and the s/dc ratio is 3.10, it is determined that the highest bearing capacity has reached. Accordingly, optimum values of Ac/A and s/dc ratios were found to be around 0.08 and 3.10 respectively.

After the middle of the XVIth century, some economic problems arose in the çift-hane system, which constitutes the core of the timar system, and some of the reaya, timar owners and kapikulu elements who were affected by the problems started a mass reaction movement under the name of the Jalali Rebellions against the central authority. In this study, the crisis environment in which the çift-hane system, which was the basis for the formation of the Jalali Rebellions that took place in the Anatolian rural was examined within the framework of A. V. Chayanov’s “peasant farm theory”. In the study, after drawing a theoretical framework on the functioning of the Ottoman çift-hane system within the scope of the Asiatic Mode of Production by reviewing the relevant literature as a method, the effects of the system’s deterioration process on the Jalali Rebellions were discussed. Osmanlı tımar sistemi iktisadi ve askeri işlevini XVI. yüzyıla kadar fazla sorun olmaksızın yerine getirmiştir. XVI. yüzyılın ortalarından itibaren ise tımar sisteminin özünü teşkil eden çift-hane sisteminde bazı iktisadi sorunlar ortaya çıkmış ve bu sorunlardan etkilenen bir kısım reaya ile tımar sahipleri ve kapıkulu unsurları merkezi otoriteye karşı Celali İsyanları adı altında kitlesel bir tepki hareketine girişmişlerdir. Bu çalışmada, XVI. yüzyıl Anadolu kırsalında meydana gelen Celali İsyanlarının oluşumuna temel teşkil eden çift-hane sisteminin içerisine düştüğü kriz ortamı, A. V. Chayanov’un “köylü çiftliği teorisi” çerçevesinde incelenmiştir. Çalışmada, yöntem olarak ilgili yazın taranarak Osmanlı çift-hane sisteminin Asya Üretim Tarzı kapsamındaki işleyişine dair bir teorik çerçeve çizilmesinin ardından sistemin çözülme sürecinin Celali İsyanları üzerindeki etkileri tartışılmıştır.

Tersine lojistik; lojistik süreçler boyunca ürünlerin çıkış varış noktasından çıkış noktasına doğru gerçekleşen geri dönüşlerdir. Bu geri dönüş sürecinin tıpkı geleneksel lojistik gibi etkin ve etkili biçimde planlanması, yönetilmesi ve kontrol edilmesi gerekmektedir. Yeşil lojistik, yeşil tedarik zinciri, kapalı çevrim tedarik zinciri ve tersine lojistik kavramları amaçları açısından oldukça benzerlikler göstermektedir. Bu çalışmada bir üniversitenin kâğıt ve plastik gibi geri dönüştürülebilir atıklarını zincire geri kazandırmak için kurmak istediği geri dönüşüm merkezlerinin konumlarını belirleyen ve aynı zamanda kampüsler ve geri dönüşüm merkezleri arasındaki nakliyede oluşan karbon dioksit salınımını en aza indirgeyen iki amaçlı karma tamsayılı doğrusal olmayan bir matematiksel model geliştirilmiştir. Çalışmada klasik P-medyan problemine karbon salınımı miznimizasyonu eklenerek literatüre yeni bir çalışma olarak sunulmak istenmiştir. Social responsibilities, legal enforcements, and economic returns have created the concept of a backward cycle to the supply chain. Reverse logistics can be explained as the returns from the point of departure to the origin of the products during the logistic processes. This return process needs to be planned, managed and controlled efficiently and effectively, just like traditional logistics. The concepts of green logistics, green supply chain, closed-loop supply chain and reverse logistics show similarities for their purposes. In this study, a bi-objective mixed integer non-linear programming problem (MINLP) developed that identifies the locations of recycling centers that a university requires to establish to recycle its recyclable waste such as paper, and plastic after use, to the chain and also minimizes carbon dioxide emissions generated during transportation between campuses and recycling centers. This study aims to present a new approach to the literature by adding carbon release consideration to the classical P-median problem.

Bu çalışmada, meyve suyu ve içecek dolum ünitesi otomatik üretimhattında yer alan makine arızaları, arıza ve tampon stok seviye verimliliklerianaliz edilmiştir. Hattın verimlilik performansını görmek ve iyileştirmek için matematikselyöntemlerle çevrim süresi, verimlilik ve üretim hızı parametrelerihesaplanmıştır. Otomatik üretim hatlarına tampon stok yerleştirme durumlarında dâhilidepolu transfer hatlarında arıza süresi ile ilgili dağılımlar dikkate alınarakhesaplamalar gerçekleştirilmiştir. Arızalanma sıklığı ve tamir bakım sürelerigeçmişteki verilerden farklı hat tasarımı ve tampon stok seviyelerindeki hattınverimlilikleri ve üretim hızları hesaplanmış ve yorumlanmıştır. Competitive conditions, low cost and high delivery capability andcustomer demands compulsory to use automated production lines with highproduction speed. These automatic sequential machines are frequently usedespecially in terms of hygiene in food enterprises. Automatic machine systemsare preferred due to high production speeds, but failure in any of thesemachines causes all machines to stop, resulting in lower system efficiency andproduction speed, and increases unit product costs. In this study, machinemalfunctions, malfunction and buffer stock level efficiencies in automaticproduction line of fruit juice and beverage filling unit were analyzed. Thecycle time, efficiency and production rate parameters were calculated bymathematical methods to see and improve the efficiency of the line. Calculationswere made by taking into consideration the distributions related to the failuretime in the internal storage lines with automatic storage. Failure frequencyand repair maintenance times were calculated and interpreted in terms of linedesign and buffer stock levels.

Among these, marine current turbines, produce energy by taking the advantage of alternating motion of water, and have the ability to produce energy even at low flow rates, and are operated in oceans and seas as a renewable energy source. In this study, design of marine current turbine, to be installed on a zero emission sail boat consept as a prominent renewable energy source, is done. Firstly, the design requirements of marine current turbine to be installed on the sailboat are determined. So forth, prerequisites for two marine current turbines, at starboard and port, are turbine diameters to be less than 700 mm, design speed to be 3.1 m / s (6 knots), electrical power generation to be not less than 850 W, total appendage resistance to be not exceeding 5% of the ship resistance during the motor cruising and also 25% of the ship resistance during the sailing, in total, and weight of each turbine to be not exceeding 35 kg. Considering the prerequisites above, low Reynolds number turbine blade section profile FX63-167, also used wind turbine blade section with the highest CL/CD (lift coefficient/drag coefficient) ratio, is chosen. Nevertheless, considering manufacturing and productivity, changes in the geometry of trailing edge of the section is done. TSR, a substantial parameter for marine turbines, and turbine diameter data from available five marine current turbine in production, ranging in diameter 3.1-6.3 m are taken into account. For design, TSR and turbine diameter (D) are considered to be 3.4 and 0.5 m, respectively. TSR is an important parameter in turbine design. Turbine, under the boat, aims to convert energy to water flow that occurs on its body during the course of sailing. In the meanwhile, it is causes an additional resistance by acting as an appendage on sail boat. The additional appendage resistance reduces the speed of boat. It is inevitable. To overcome, the most efficient system can be developed by reducing it to the minimum. The additional appendage resistance on the sail boat occurs, since the two kinds of hydrodynamic forces are generated on turbine. The first hydrodynamic force is the viscous resistance component caused by flow around turbine geometry. The other hydrodynamic force is opposed thrust force, rotational thrust acting in the opposite direction of boat motion, occurring on turbine blades and trying to stop the boat. The opposed thrust increases in proportion with the increase in rotational speed of the turbine. Therefore, choosing lower TSR values is concluded in this study. A computer code, based on momentum blade element method, is used for blade geometry design and optimization. At the end of optimization, turbine speed (N), power coefficient (CP), tip speed ratio (TSR), torque (T), thrust (F) and theoretical power are calculated to be 460 rpm, 0.461, 3.882, 8.72 Nm, 827 N, 1383.5 W, respectively. The calculated final geometric values for the turbine blades are given. For the results obtained in pre-design calculations to be close to practice and actual, turbine mechanical design, including hub and pod parts, is also carried out. The reason for the system to be preferred as a folding system, is to minimize the flow-induced resistances during the motor cruising. A horizontal axis marine current turbine system with all components is designed and presented. As a result, an efficient, durable, easy to operate, and innovative product is presented for sailing boat which has capability to generate, accumulate and consume alternative energy by using solar and/or wind renewable energy sources. Son yıllarda, rüzgar ve güneş enerjisi ile deniz ve gel-git akıntıları gibi yenilenebilir kaynaklardan elektrik enerjisi üretimi üzerine yapılan teorik çalışmaların ve uygulamaların hızlı bir şekilde arttığı görülmektedir. Bunlardan sualtı akıntı türbinleri, suyun değişik hareketlerinden yararlanarak enerji üreten sistemler arasında olan ve düşük akım hızlarında dahi enerji üretebilme yeteneğine sahip, okyanus ve denizlerde işletilen enerji üretme yöntemlerinden biridir. Bu çalışmada, yelkenli bir tekne üzerinde sabit bulunacak ve yelken seyri sırasında tekne gövdesi etrafındaki akıştan enerji elde edecek bir su altı akıntı türbininin, fonksiyon gereksinimleri doğrultusunda ön tasarımı ve detay tasarımı gerçekleştirilmiştir. Tasarım aşamalarında, su altı türbin kanatlarının dizaynı, analizi ve optimizasyonunda yaygın olarak kullanılan momentum kanat elemanı yöntemi (MBEM)’nden yararlanılmıştır. Ön tasarım ve detay tasarım sonucunda ortaya çıkan yatay eksenli sualtı türbin sistemi, bileşenleri ile birlikte gösterilmiştir. Bu sayede, üzerinde rüzgâr ve/veya güneş gibi yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarından enerji elde edebilen, depolayabilen ve gerektiğinde bu enerjiyi kullanabilen donanıma sahip her yelkenli tekne için, güneş ve rüzgâr teknolojilerine göre daha fazla güç üretebilen, verimli, uzun ömürlü, kullanımı kolay ve yenilikçi bir ürün ortaya konmuştur.

The culture reflects itself in the nature of the words, and therefore in the language. The changes in the vocabulary of a language display themselves in the culture in return. An investigation into these reflections can yield valuable insights regarding changes in a language over time as well as the syntactic features of a language and cultural values. Vocabulary of a language encompasses many linguistic elements such as proverbs, idioms, reduplications. These elements reveal themselves most vividly in spoken and written cultural productions. Analysing these lexical units in literary works written both for children and adults may allow us identify the level and structure of the language, the use of lexical elements, and cultural values. To this end, this particylar study aims to examine the idioms employed in the stories by Sevim Ak as well as analyze their semantic values for the text. For the analyses of the lexical elements, idioms were specifically chosen because they are widely used both in daily life and other areas and they suggest clues for linguistic and cultural elements. This study is a descriptive study in which 19 stories by Sevim Ak and idioms used in these stories were found. The findings revealed that the author utilized idioms to a great extent, therefore, contributed to its originality and semantic richness. Moreover, they were found to be useful in developing children's vocabulary knowledge and enhance their conceptual underatanding.Keywords: Sevim Ak, children’s literature, stories, idioms. ÖZ: Bir dilin kimliğini oluşturan unsurlar arasında kültür ve söz varlığı gelir. Kültürün izleri söz varlığına, söz varlığındaki değişimler de kültüre yansır. Bu yansımalar incelenerek tarihî süreç içerisinde dilde gerçekleşen değişikler, dilin yapısal özellikleri ve toplumun kültürel değerleri ortaya konabilir. Dili oluşturan söz varlığının kapsamında atasözü, deyim ikileme gibi pek çok dilsel yapı yer alır. Bu yapılar kendini en uygun şekilde sözlü ve yazılı kültür ürünlerinde gösterir. Edebiyat eserlerindeki söz varlığı incelenerek kullanılan dilin düzeyi, dilin yapısı, söz varlığı ögelerinden yararlanıp yararlanılmadığı, kültürel değerlere yer verilip verilmediği gibi durumlar tespit edilebilir. Bu çalışmanın amacı da Türk çocuk edebiyatı yazarlarından Sevim Ak’ın öykülerinde bulunan deyimleri belirlemek; bunların metne sağladığı anlamsal katkıları değerlendirmektir. Kullanım alanının daha geniş olması, günlük yaşamda daha çok yer alması, dil-kültür yapımızla ilgili birçok ipucu sunması bakımından deyimler tercih edilmiştir. Çalışma tarama yönteminin kullanıldığı betimsel bir araştırmadır. Ak’ın 19 öykü kitabı taranarak bunlarda bulunan deyimler saptanmıştır. Bu deyimlerin öykülere kattığı anlamsal değerler yorumlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada, bir yeraltı maden ocağı havalandırma şebekesinin bilgisayar ortamında tasarlanması için Ventsim® havalandırma benzetim programı kullanılmıştır. Havalandırma ölçümlerine ilişkin değerler, Eskişehir ili Mihalıççık ilçesinde bulunan Adularya Madencilik Enerji A.Ş.’ye ait yeraltı kömür madeninden alınmıştır. Bu veri seti kullanılarak havalandırma tasarımı yapılmış ve elde edilen sonuçlar gerçek değerlerle karşılaştırılmıştır. Sonuç olarak, tasarım sonuçlarının gerçeğe yakın olduğu ve tasarımın başarılı olduğu belirlenmiştir. Computer aided ventilation design for underground mines has a vital importance. The data set parameters associated with the ventilation of underground mines must be carefully constructed to ensure reliable future planning. In this work, the Ventsim® ventilation simulation program was used to design an underground mine ventilation network in a computer environment. The values of the ventilation measurements were taken from the underground coal mine of Adularya Mining Energy Trade Corporation located in Mihalıçcık, Eskişehir province. Ventilation design was performed using this data set and the results obtained were compared with actual values. As a result, it has been determined that the design results are close to reality and the design is successful.

Mısır tarımının yaygınlaşması Mısır koçan kurdu, Sesamia nonagrioides ve Mısır kurdu, Ostrinia nubilalisgibi zararlıların popülasyon düzeyinde önemli artışlara neden olmakta ve bu zararlılarla mücadelenin önemini ön plana çıkarmaktadır. Bu zararlılara karşı mücadelede genel olarak insektisitlere (organik fosfatlar ve pyrethrin) geniş yer verilmektedir. Ancak bu kimyasallar zararlıların popülasyon oranını azaltmakla beraber, çevre ve insan sağlığı için büyük tehditler oluşturmaktadır. S. nonagrioides ve O. nubilalis’e karşı mücadelede biyoteknik (Feromon tuzaklar),biyolojik (Entomopatojen fungus, Entomopatojen nematod, Entomopatojen bakteri, Yumurta-Larva-Pupa parazitoidleri) ve popüler bir uygulama olan Bt mısırgibi yöntemler kullanılmaktadır. Bu yöntemler adı geçen zararlılara karşı etkili bir mücadelede oluştursa da böceklerin direnç geliştirme mekanizmaları dikkate alınmalı ve yeni alternatif yöntem arayışları devam ettirilmelidir. The spread of maize cultivation cause significant increases at population level suhc as pests Mediterrenean corn borer, Sesamia nonagrioidesand European corn borer, Ostrina nubilalis. The fight against this pests used generally insecticides (organicphosphates andpyrethrin). However,withthese chemicalsprevents rise the number of pests are major threats to the environment and human health. To the fight against S. nonagrioides and O. nubilalis used biotechnique (Pheromone traps), biologic (Entomopathogen fungi, Entomopathogen nematodes, Entomopathogen bacteria, Egg-Larval-Pupa parazitoids) and bt-maize as a populer application.These methods are mentioned in the fight against pests constitutes an effective mechanism should be considered in the development of resistance to insects and should continue the search for new alternative methods.

Bu iyileştirme yöntemi, taşıma gücünün arttırılması, oturmaların azaltılması, sıvılaşma potansiyelinin azaltılması ve şevlerin stabilitelerinin arttırılması amacı ile kullanılmaktadır. Bu çalışma kapsamında, taş kolonların tasarımı yapılırken önem arz eden taş kolonlarda alan yerleşim oranlarının (Ac/A) ve kolonlar arası mesafenin (s/dc) değişimi ile serbest basınç mukavemetlerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla laboratuvar model deneylerinin yapılması hedeflenmiştir. Farklı çaplarda oluşturulmuş kil numunesinin merkezine açılan sabit çaptaki dairesel boşluklara kum zemin yerleştirilerek taş kolonlar oluşturulmuş ve serbest basınç deneyleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sonuçlara göre göre, Ac/A oranı 0.08 ve s/dc oranı 3.10 olması durumunda, en yüksek serbest basınç mukavemetine ulaşıldığı belirlenmiştir. Buna bağlı olarak Ac/A ve s/dc oranlarının optimum değerlerinin yaklaşık olarak sırasıyla 0.08 ve 3.10 civarında olduğu bulunmuştur. It is an improvement method that has gained importance in recent years for the improvement of soft clay, silt and loose sand with stone columns. This healing method is used with the aim of increasing the bearing capacity, reducing seats, reducing liquefaction potential and increasing slopes stability. In this study, it was aimed to perform laboratory model experiments in order to determine important stone column area replacement ratios (Ac/A) and column spacing (s/dc). Stone columns were formed by placing a sand bed on the fixed circular cavities which opened to the center of the clay sample formed at different diameters and unconfined compression test was carried out. According to the results, when the Ac/A ratio is 0.08 and the s/dc ratio is 3.10, it is determined that the highest bearing capacity has reached. Accordingly, optimum values of Ac/A and s/dc ratios were found to be around 0.08 and 3.10 respectively.

After the middle of the XVIth century, some economic problems arose in the çift-hane system, which constitutes the core of the timar system, and some of the reaya, timar owners and kapikulu elements who were affected by the problems started a mass reaction movement under the name of the Jalali Rebellions against the central authority. In this study, the crisis environment in which the çift-hane system, which was the basis for the formation of the Jalali Rebellions that took place in the Anatolian rural was examined within the framework of A. V. Chayanov’s “peasant farm theory”. In the study, after drawing a theoretical framework on the functioning of the Ottoman çift-hane system within the scope of the Asiatic Mode of Production by reviewing the relevant literature as a method, the effects of the system’s deterioration process on the Jalali Rebellions were discussed. Osmanlı tımar sistemi iktisadi ve askeri işlevini XVI. yüzyıla kadar fazla sorun olmaksızın yerine getirmiştir. XVI. yüzyılın ortalarından itibaren ise tımar sisteminin özünü teşkil eden çift-hane sisteminde bazı iktisadi sorunlar ortaya çıkmış ve bu sorunlardan etkilenen bir kısım reaya ile tımar sahipleri ve kapıkulu unsurları merkezi otoriteye karşı Celali İsyanları adı altında kitlesel bir tepki hareketine girişmişlerdir. Bu çalışmada, XVI. yüzyıl Anadolu kırsalında meydana gelen Celali İsyanlarının oluşumuna temel teşkil eden çift-hane sisteminin içerisine düştüğü kriz ortamı, A. V. Chayanov’un “köylü çiftliği teorisi” çerçevesinde incelenmiştir. Çalışmada, yöntem olarak ilgili yazın taranarak Osmanlı çift-hane sisteminin Asya Üretim Tarzı kapsamındaki işleyişine dair bir teorik çerçeve çizilmesinin ardından sistemin çözülme sürecinin Celali İsyanları üzerindeki etkileri tartışılmıştır.

Bu çalışmada bir üniversitenin kâğıt ve plastik gibi geri dönüştürülebilir atıklarını zincire geri kazandırmak için kurmak istediği geri dönüşüm merkezlerinin konumlarını belirleyen ve aynı zamanda kampüsler ve geri dönüşüm merkezleri arasındaki nakliyede oluşan karbon dioksit salınımını en aza indirgeyen iki amaçlı karma tamsayılı doğrusal olmayan bir matematiksel model geliştirilmiştir. Çalışmada klasik P-medyan problemine karbon salınımı miznimizasyonu eklenerek literatüre yeni bir çalışma olarak sunulmak istenmiştir. Social responsibilities, legal enforcements, and economic returns have created the concept of a backward cycle to the supply chain. Reverse logistics can be explained as the returns from the point of departure to the origin of the products during the logistic processes. This return process needs to be planned, managed and controlled efficiently and effectively, just like traditional logistics. The concepts of green logistics, green supply chain, closed-loop supply chain and reverse logistics show similarities for their purposes. In this study, a bi-objective mixed integer non-linear programming problem (MINLP) developed that identifies the locations of recycling centers that a university requires to establish to recycle its recyclable waste such as paper, and plastic after use, to the chain and also minimizes carbon dioxide emissions generated during transportation between campuses and recycling centers. This study aims to present a new approach to the literature by adding carbon release consideration to the classical P-median problem.

Arızalanma sıklığı ve tamir bakım sürelerigeçmişteki verilerden farklı hat tasarımı ve tampon stok seviyelerindeki hattınverimlilikleri ve üretim hızları hesaplanmış ve yorumlanmıştır. Competitive conditions, low cost and high delivery capability andcustomer demands compulsory to use automated production lines with highproduction speed. These automatic sequential machines are frequently usedespecially in terms of hygiene in food enterprises. Automatic machine systemsare preferred due to high production speeds, but failure in any of thesemachines causes all machines to stop, resulting in lower system efficiency andproduction speed, and increases unit product costs. In this study, machinemalfunctions, malfunction and buffer stock level efficiencies in automaticproduction line of fruit juice and beverage filling unit were analyzed. Thecycle time, efficiency and production rate parameters were calculated bymathematical methods to see and improve the efficiency of the line. Calculationswere made by taking into consideration the distributions related to the failuretime in the internal storage lines with automatic storage. Failure frequencyand repair maintenance times were calculated and interpreted in terms of linedesign and buffer stock levels.

Among these, marine current turbines, produce energy by taking the advantage of alternating motion of water, and have the ability to produce energy even at low flow rates, and are operated in oceans and seas as a renewable energy source. In this study, design of marine current turbine, to be installed on a zero emission sail boat consept as a prominent renewable energy source, is done. Firstly, the design requirements of marine current turbine to be installed on the sailboat are determined. So forth, prerequisites for two marine current turbines, at starboard and port, are turbine diameters to be less than 700 mm, design speed to be 3.1 m / s (6 knots), electrical power generation to be not less than 850 W, total appendage resistance to be not exceeding 5% of the ship resistance during the motor cruising and also 25% of the ship resistance during the sailing, in total, and weight of each turbine to be not exceeding 35 kg. Considering the prerequisites above, low Reynolds number turbine blade section profile FX63-167, also used wind turbine blade section with the highest CL/CD (lift coefficient/drag coefficient) ratio, is chosen. Nevertheless, considering manufacturing and productivity, changes in the geometry of trailing edge of the section is done. TSR, a substantial parameter for marine turbines, and turbine diameter data from available five marine current turbine in production, ranging in diameter 3.1-6.3 m are taken into account. For design, TSR and turbine diameter (D) are considered to be 3.4 and 0.5 m, respectively. TSR is an important parameter in turbine design. Turbine, under the boat, aims to convert energy to water flow that occurs on its body during the course of sailing. In the meanwhile, it is causes an additional resistance by acting as an appendage on sail boat. The additional appendage resistance reduces the speed of boat. It is inevitable. To overcome, the most efficient system can be developed by reducing it to the minimum. The additional appendage resistance on the sail boat occurs, since the two kinds of hydrodynamic forces are generated on turbine. The first hydrodynamic force is the viscous resistance component caused by flow around turbine geometry. The other hydrodynamic force is opposed thrust force, rotational thrust acting in the opposite direction of boat motion, occurring on turbine blades and trying to stop the boat. The opposed thrust increases in proportion with the increase in rotational speed of the turbine. Therefore, choosing lower TSR values is concluded in this study. A computer code, based on momentum blade element method, is used for blade geometry design and optimization. At the end of optimization, turbine speed (N), power coefficient (CP), tip speed ratio (TSR), torque (T), thrust (F) and theoretical power are calculated to be 460 rpm, 0.461, 3.882, 8.72 Nm, 827 N, 1383.5 W, respectively. The calculated final geometric values for the turbine blades are given. For the results obtained in pre-design calculations to be close to practice and actual, turbine mechanical design, including hub and pod parts, is also carried out. The reason for the system to be preferred as a folding system, is to minimize the flow-induced resistances during the motor cruising. A horizontal axis marine current turbine system with all components is designed and presented. As a result, an efficient, durable, easy to operate, and innovative product is presented for sailing boat which has capability to generate, accumulate and consume alternative energy by using solar and/or wind renewable energy sources. Son yıllarda, rüzgar ve güneş enerjisi ile deniz ve gel-git akıntıları gibi yenilenebilir kaynaklardan elektrik enerjisi üretimi üzerine yapılan teorik çalışmaların ve uygulamaların hızlı bir şekilde arttığı görülmektedir. Bunlardan sualtı akıntı türbinleri, suyun değişik hareketlerinden yararlanarak enerji üreten sistemler arasında olan ve düşük akım hızlarında dahi enerji üretebilme yeteneğine sahip, okyanus ve denizlerde işletilen enerji üretme yöntemlerinden biridir. Bu çalışmada, yelkenli bir tekne üzerinde sabit bulunacak ve yelken seyri sırasında tekne gövdesi etrafındaki akıştan enerji elde edecek bir su altı akıntı türbininin, fonksiyon gereksinimleri doğrultusunda ön tasarımı ve detay tasarımı gerçekleştirilmiştir. Tasarım aşamalarında, su altı türbin kanatlarının dizaynı, analizi ve optimizasyonunda yaygın olarak kullanılan momentum kanat elemanı yöntemi (MBEM)’nden yararlanılmıştır. Ön tasarım ve detay tasarım sonucunda ortaya çıkan yatay eksenli sualtı türbin sistemi, bileşenleri ile birlikte gösterilmiştir. Bu sayede, üzerinde rüzgâr ve/veya güneş gibi yenilenebilir enerji kaynaklarından enerji elde edebilen, depolayabilen ve gerektiğinde bu enerjiyi kullanabilen donanıma sahip her yelkenli tekne için, güneş ve rüzgâr teknolojilerine göre daha fazla güç üretebilen, verimli, uzun ömürlü, kullanımı kolay ve yenilikçi bir ürün ortaya konmuştur.

The culture reflects itself in the nature of the words, and therefore in the language. The changes in the vocabulary of a language display themselves in the culture in return. An investigation into these reflections can yield valuable insights regarding changes in a language over time as well as the syntactic features of a language and cultural values. Vocabulary of a language encompasses many linguistic elements such as proverbs, idioms, reduplications. These elements reveal themselves most vividly in spoken and written cultural productions. Analysing these lexical units in literary works written both for children and adults may allow us identify the level and structure of the language, the use of lexical elements, and cultural values. To this end, this particylar study aims to examine the idioms employed in the stories by Sevim Ak as well as analyze their semantic values for the text. For the analyses of the lexical elements, idioms were specifically chosen because they are widely used both in daily life and other areas and they suggest clues for linguistic and cultural elements. This study is a descriptive study in which 19 stories by Sevim Ak and idioms used in these stories were found. The findings revealed that the author utilized idioms to a great extent, therefore, contributed to its originality and semantic richness. Moreover, they were found to be useful in developing children's vocabulary knowledge and enhance their conceptual underatanding.Keywords: Sevim Ak, children’s literature, stories, idioms. ÖZ: Bir dilin kimliğini oluşturan unsurlar arasında kültür ve söz varlığı gelir. Kültürün izleri söz varlığına, söz varlığındaki değişimler de kültüre yansır. Bu yansımalar incelenerek tarihî süreç içerisinde dilde gerçekleşen değişikler, dilin yapısal özellikleri ve toplumun kültürel değerleri ortaya konabilir. Dili oluşturan söz varlığının kapsamında atasözü, deyim ikileme gibi pek çok dilsel yapı yer alır. Bu yapılar kendini en uygun şekilde sözlü ve yazılı kültür ürünlerinde gösterir. Edebiyat eserlerindeki söz varlığı incelenerek kullanılan dilin düzeyi, dilin yapısı, söz varlığı ögelerinden yararlanıp yararlanılmadığı, kültürel değerlere yer verilip verilmediği gibi durumlar tespit edilebilir. Bu çalışmanın amacı da Türk çocuk edebiyatı yazarlarından Sevim Ak’ın öykülerinde bulunan deyimleri belirlemek; bunların metne sağladığı anlamsal katkıları değerlendirmektir. Kullanım alanının daha geniş olması, günlük yaşamda daha çok yer alması, dil-kültür yapımızla ilgili birçok ipucu sunması bakımından deyimler tercih edilmiştir. Çalışma tarama yönteminin kullanıldığı betimsel bir araştırmadır. Ak’ın 19 öykü kitabı taranarak bunlarda bulunan deyimler saptanmıştır. Bu deyimlerin öykülere kattığı anlamsal değerler yorumlanmıştır.
