In the contemporary era of technology, innovation performs a key role in successful commercial landscape operations. Therefore, this research was conducted to examine the effect of the innovation network (IN) on organizational innovativeness (OI). Moreover, the mediating effects of frugal innovation (FI) and the moderating role of organizational readiness (OR) have also been examined. Data collection through a cross-sectional method was conducted for this study from SMEs. Some 442 managers and owners provided correct responses, which were used for further analysis. SEM was used for testing the hypotheses of the current study. The results showed that the innovation network positively affects organizational innovativeness. Furthermore, the outcomes also validated that frugal innovation plays a mediating role between the innovation network and the organizational innovativeness link. The SMEs working in the circular economy are mainly dependent on their innovative activities/actions. In the current dynamic scenario, the survival of SMEs is linked to continuous organizational innovativeness in their products/services.

The study utilizes advanced panel data techniques, including the Westerlund cointegration test, Augmented Mean Group (AMG) estimator, Pooled Mean Group (PMG) estimator, and the Dumitrescu and Hurlin (DH) causality test, to examine the aforementioned relationships. The findings of the AMG and PMG estimators indicate that environmental degradation has a negative impact on GEC, whereas oil prices and economic development have a positive effect on GEC.

Mohammad; Taseer Muhammad; Malik Shahzad Shabbir;Abstract The world today presents significant environmental concerns for humans, such as smog and warmer temperatures, but we also need to think about how to accomplish economic growth that is sustainable. Therefore, this exploration researches the asymmetric effect of renewable energy consumption, economic growth and financial development on carbon emanation in the emerging economies. For this reason, this investigation uses Panel ARDL and PMG estimator. The consequences of PMG estimator demonstrate that information and communication technologies reduce the carbon emanations in the sample region. Additionally, renewable energy consumption also impedes the carbon emanations. The results also suggest that financial development additionally builds the carbon emissions but the impact is very minor. Finally, economic growth and population are also contributing toward carbon emissions. The power effective recommendation is vital to present the ICT assistance to confine the utilization of obsolete machinery for power generation.

This research explores the nexus between CO2 emissions, G.D.P. per capita, renewable energy supply, the development of patents, and gross fixed capital formation in the context of 32 O.E.C.D. countries. Also, the panel quantile regression technique is being used to investigate potential variations in heterogeneity and asymmetry. The empirical evidence shows that technological innovation negatively impacts CO2 emissions; however, the impact varies greatly between quantiles. This research also explores the potential for heterogeneity and asymmetry in the moderating effect of technological innovation with regards to economic growth and renewable energy. The investigation, which relied on the use of panel quantile regression, revealed that technological innovation exerts a wide variety of moderating effects. The present study explores the impact of renewable energy usage, economic progress, urbanization, and trade on carbon emissions in Bhutan. The stationarity among the variables was tested by employing the two unit root tests by taking the annual data series variables from 1982–2020. A symmetric (ARDL) technique was utilized to analyze the associations among variables with short- and long-run estimations. In addition, the cointegration regression method using FMOLS and DOLS was used in this investigation to discover the robustness of the study variables. Findings showed that via long-run assessment the variables renewable energy consumption, urbanization, and trade have adverse connections with CO2 emission, while the variable economic progress shows a constructive linkage with carbon emission. However, the short-run assessment showed that the variable economic growth has a positive impact on carbon emissions. Further, the variables renewable energy consumption, urbanization, and trade have an adverse relation to carbon emissions in Bhutan. The consequences of both FMOLS and DOLS also mean that the variable renewable energy usage, urbanization, and trade have an adverse influence on carbon emission, while economic growth has a constructive linkage with CO2 emission. Greenhouse gas emissions are undeniably an increasing global issue. This problem can only be handled by prudent legislation and funding. Despite having fewer greenhouse gas emissions than industrialized economies, Bhutan’s government needs to develop new rules to address this issue in order to ensure environmental sustainability and economic growth.

In the modern era societies adopt further restrictions imposed via climate or global changes and are engaged in a dynamic innovative set of dealings. The environment site is inhabited by numerous artists, who perform in a synergic manner by placing emphasis on and implementation of actual sustainable development. In this perspective, we value environmental resource-conservation efforts (ERCE) of all actors, populations, mass media and specialists. This paper aims to analyze how different energy firms accomplished sustainable development through environmental resource-conservation efforts. In this study we discover that pollution reduction is directly linked with both variables and also plays a mediating role. A cross-sectional data collection technique was used. For testing study hypotheses, we selected energy firms. Results showed that sustainable development of energy firms are forecasted by environmental resource-conservation efforts. The findings confirmed that ERCE are directly linked to pollution reduction, and pollution reduction is positively linked to sustainable development. The results also highlight how pollution reduction mediates between ERCE and sustainable development links. Energy firms play critical roles in pollution reduction. Current research contributes to prior literature knowledge through offering a sustainable development model by mutual influence of ERCE and pollution reduction. Accordingly, this study might be regarded as an encouragement for action and an authentic message for professionals in the energy firms to increase their sustainable development and give attention to their efforts on the optimal use of resources. This study can provide several critical practical policies and suggestions to management of energy firms for raising their sustainable development. Our research provides major implications through focusing on the role of ERCE and pollution reduction strategies and activities to enhance sustainable development of energy firms in a circular economy. A circular economy acts as a solution framework that helps in tackling global changes such as loss of biodiversity, pollution, climate challenges and recycling of waste. This study expands the prior literature knowledge through giving an empirical model for energy firms.

In response to climate change that threatens both economic and social sustainable development, governments adopt strict environmental policy measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and encourage the use of energy from renewable sources. The main purpose of this study is to investigate to what extent the strictness of environmental policy can influence the level of greenhouse gas emissions and the consumption of renewable energy in selected Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) countries. The Fully Modified Ordinary Least Squares (FMOLS) method and Granger causality test were employed in order to investigate the long-run relationship between the main components of the environmental policy stringency index and the evolution of greenhouse gas emissions and renewable energy consumption. The results indicate significant influences of the Market-based instruments sub-index and the Technology Support policies sub-index on greenhouse gas emissions reduction, while the Non-Market Based instruments index, which includes policies that impose emission limits and standards, does not exert any significant influence in this regard. Regarding the impact on renewable energy consumption, the results of this study indicate significant positive influences from the perspective of the three sub-indices used in the analysis. These results should send a signal to decision-makers on the effectiveness of policies that impose emission limits and standards, in the sense that their improvement will generate significant influences in mitigating climate change risks.

The study in hand investigates the impact of the Internet of things (IoT) and digital platforms on frugal innovation. Furthermore, we also tested the intervening role of digital platforms and moderating role of organizational readiness. Data were collected from SMEs and the collected data were analyzed with various statistical techniques. Findings shown that the IoT positively affects digital platforms and frugal innovation. Results proved that digital platforms mediate the association between the IoT and frugal innovation. Furthermore, organizational readiness also moderates on the association between digital platforms and frugal innovation. The findings revealed that only those businesses that update their business operations according to the needs of their customers can achieve success. Frugal innovation is an emerging concept, and its achievement is a very tricky and complex task. This study shows that only those businesses that update their business operations using the IoT and digital platforms can achieve success. Moreover, modern SMEs should be able to adapt to the required changes in their business activities. Hence, SMEs also require some strategic changes in their operations in order to cope with changing business circumstances.

The study utilizes advanced panel data techniques, including the Westerlund cointegration test, Augmented Mean Group (AMG) estimator, Pooled Mean Group (PMG) estimator, and the Dumitrescu and Hurlin (DH) causality test, to examine the aforementioned relationships. The findings of the AMG and PMG estimators indicate that environmental degradation has a negative impact on GEC, whereas oil prices and economic development have a positive effect on GEC.

Therefore, this exploration researches the asymmetric effect of renewable energy consumption, economic growth and financial development on carbon emanation in the emerging economies. For this reason, this investigation uses Panel ARDL and PMG estimator. The consequences of PMG estimator demonstrate that information and communication technologies reduce the carbon emanations in the sample region. Additionally, renewable energy consumption also impedes the carbon emanations. The results also suggest that financial development additionally builds the carbon emissions but the impact is very minor. Finally, economic growth and population are also contributing toward carbon emissions. The power effective recommendation is vital to present the ICT assistance to confine the utilization of obsolete machinery for power generation.

This research explores the nexus between CO2 emissions, G.D.P. per capita, renewable energy supply, the development of patents, and gross fixed capital formation in the context of 32 O.E.C.D. countries. Also, the panel quantile regression technique is being used to investigate potential variations in heterogeneity and asymmetry. The empirical evidence shows that technological innovation negatively impacts CO2 emissions; however, the impact varies greatly between quantiles. This research also explores the potential for heterogeneity and asymmetry in the moderating effect of technological innovation with regards to economic growth and renewable energy. The investigation, which relied on the use of panel quantile regression, revealed that technological innovation exerts a wide variety of moderating effects. The present study explores the impact of renewable energy usage, economic progress, urbanization, and trade on carbon emissions in Bhutan. The stationarity among the variables was tested by employing the two unit root tests by taking the annual data series variables from 1982–2020. A symmetric (ARDL) technique was utilized to analyze the associations among variables with short- and long-run estimations. In addition, the cointegration regression method using FMOLS and DOLS was used in this investigation to discover the robustness of the study variables. Findings showed that via long-run assessment the variables renewable energy consumption, urbanization, and trade have adverse connections with CO2 emission, while the variable economic progress shows a constructive linkage with carbon emission. However, the short-run assessment showed that the variable economic growth has a positive impact on carbon emissions. Further, the variables renewable energy consumption, urbanization, and trade have an adverse relation to carbon emissions in Bhutan. The consequences of both FMOLS and DOLS also mean that the variable renewable energy usage, urbanization, and trade have an adverse influence on carbon emission, while economic growth has a constructive linkage with CO2 emission. Greenhouse gas emissions are undeniably an increasing global issue. This problem can only be handled by prudent legislation and funding. Despite having fewer greenhouse gas emissions than industrialized economies, Bhutan’s government needs to develop new rules to address this issue in order to ensure environmental sustainability and economic growth.

In the modern era societies adopt further restrictions imposed via climate or global changes and are engaged in a dynamic innovative set of dealings. The environment site is inhabited by numerous artists, who perform in a synergic manner by placing emphasis on and implementation of actual sustainable development. In this perspective, we value environmental resource-conservation efforts (ERCE) of all actors, populations, mass media and specialists. This paper aims to analyze how different energy firms accomplished sustainable development through environmental resource-conservation efforts. In this study we discover that pollution reduction is directly linked with both variables and also plays a mediating role. A cross-sectional data collection technique was used. For testing study hypotheses, we selected energy firms. Results showed that sustainable development of energy firms are forecasted by environmental resource-conservation efforts. The findings confirmed that ERCE are directly linked to pollution reduction, and pollution reduction is positively linked to sustainable development. The results also highlight how pollution reduction mediates between ERCE and sustainable development links. Energy firms play critical roles in pollution reduction. Current research contributes to prior literature knowledge through offering a sustainable development model by mutual influence of ERCE and pollution reduction. Accordingly, this study might be regarded as an encouragement for action and an authentic message for professionals in the energy firms to increase their sustainable development and give attention to their efforts on the optimal use of resources. This study can provide several critical practical policies and suggestions to management of energy firms for raising their sustainable development. Our research provides major implications through focusing on the role of ERCE and pollution reduction strategies and activities to enhance sustainable development of energy firms in a circular economy. A circular economy acts as a solution framework that helps in tackling global changes such as loss of biodiversity, pollution, climate challenges and recycling of waste. This study expands the prior literature knowledge through giving an empirical model for energy firms.

In response to climate change that threatens both economic and social sustainable development, governments adopt strict environmental policy measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and encourage the use of energy from renewable sources. The main purpose of this study is to investigate to what extent the strictness of environmental policy can influence the level of greenhouse gas emissions and the consumption of renewable energy in selected Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) countries. The Fully Modified Ordinary Least Squares (FMOLS) method and Granger causality test were employed in order to investigate the long-run relationship between the main components of the environmental policy stringency index and the evolution of greenhouse gas emissions and renewable energy consumption. The results indicate significant influences of the Market-based instruments sub-index and the Technology Support policies sub-index on greenhouse gas emissions reduction, while the Non-Market Based instruments index, which includes policies that impose emission limits and standards, does not exert any significant influence in this regard. Regarding the impact on renewable energy consumption, the results of this study indicate significant positive influences from the perspective of the three sub-indices used in the analysis. These results should send a signal to decision-makers on the effectiveness of policies that impose emission limits and standards, in the sense that their improvement will generate significant influences in mitigating climate change risks.

The study in hand investigates the impact of the Internet of things (IoT) and digital platforms on frugal innovation. Furthermore, we also tested the intervening role of digital platforms and moderating role of organizational readiness. Data were collected from SMEs and the collected data were analyzed with various statistical techniques. Findings shown that the IoT positively affects digital platforms and frugal innovation. Results proved that digital platforms mediate the association between the IoT and frugal innovation. Furthermore, organizational readiness also moderates on the association between digital platforms and frugal innovation. The findings revealed that only those businesses that update their business operations according to the needs of their customers can achieve success. Frugal innovation is an emerging concept, and its achievement is a very tricky and complex task. This study shows that only those businesses that update their business operations using the IoT and digital platforms can achieve success. Moreover, modern SMEs should be able to adapt to the required changes in their business activities. Hence, SMEs also require some strategic changes in their operations in order to cope with changing business circumstances.
