    We search for dimuon decays of a low mass particle in the decays B0→K*0 X and B0→ρ0 X using a data sample of 657×10(6)BB events collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+ e- collider. We find no evidence for such a particle in the mass range from 212 MeV/c2 to 300 MeV/c2 for lifetimes below 10(-12) s, and set upper limits on its branching fractions. In particular, we search for a particle with a mass of 214.3 MeV/c2 reported by the HyperCP experiment, and obtain upper limits on the products B(B0→K*0 X)×B(X→μ+ μ- )<2.26(2.27)×10(-8) and B(B0→ρ0 X)×B(X→μ+ μ-)<1.73(1.73)×10(-8) at 90% C.L. for a scalar (vector) X particle.

    Une recherche d'événements diphotoniques avec une grande énergie transversale manquante est présentée. Les données ont été collectées avec le détecteur ATLAS dans des collisions proton-proton à √s=7 TeV au Grand collisionneur de hadrons du CERN et correspondent à une luminosité intégrée de 3,1 pb⁻¹. Aucun excès de tels événements n'est observé au-dessus de la prédiction de fond du modèle standard. Dans le contexte d'un modèle spécifique avec une dimension supplémentaire universelle avec un rayon de compactification R et des désintégrations induites par la gravité, les valeurs de 1/R<729 GeV sont exclues à 95% C. No se observa un exceso de tales eventos por encima de la predicción de fondo del modelo estándar. En el contexto de un modelo específico con una dimensión extra universal con radio de compactación R y desintegraciones inducidas por gravedad, se excluyen valores de 1/R<729 GeV al 95% C. L., proporcionando el límite más sensible en este modelo hasta la fecha. A search for diphoton events with large missing transverse energy is presented. The data were collected with the ATLAS detector in proton-proton collisions at √s=7 TeV at the CERN Large Hadron Collider and correspond to an integrated luminosity of 3.1 pb⁻¹. No excess of such events is observed above the standard model background prediction. In the context of a specific model with one universal extra dimension with compactification radius R and gravity-induced decays, values of 1/R<729 GeV are excluded at 95% C. L., providing the most sensitive limit on this model to date. يتم تقديم بحث عن أحداث diphoton ذات طاقة عرضية كبيرة مفقودة. تم جمع البيانات باستخدام كاشف أطلس في تصادمات البروتون والبروتون عند √s=7 TeV في مصادم الهدرونات الكبير CERN وتتوافق مع لمعان متكامل قدره 3.1 رطل¹. لم يتم ملاحظة أي زيادة في مثل هذه الأحداث فوق التنبؤ بخلفية النموذج القياسي. في سياق نموذج محدد ذو بعد إضافي عالمي واحد مع نصف قطر ضغط R وتحلل ناتج عن الجاذبية، يتم استبعاد قيم 1/R<729 GeV عند 95 ٪ CL، مما يوفر الحد الأكثر حساسية لهذا النموذج حتى الآن.
