description Publicationkeyboard_double_arrow_right Article 2020 UkrainePublisher:Lviv Polytechnic National University Orest Voznyak; Yuriy Yurkevych; Iryna Sukholova; Oleksandr Dovbush; Mariana Kasynets; The article presents the results of theoretical research to achieve the maximum effect in determination of the economically feasible level of buildings thermal protection. It must be optimal both thermally and economically, an indicator of which there are the costs. Graphical and analytical dependences are given. The research results substantiate the maximum effect when different thermal insulating materials are used. The aim is to increase the efficiency of energy saving measures, reduce their cost by optimizing the cost of thermal energy and insulating materials, determining the optimization criteria and justification for choice the optimal insulating material and its thickness, and determining the optimal thermal resistance, identifying ways to improve energy efficiency and substantiation of the calculation method. One of the most common thermal renovation measures, namely insulation of external walls, is considered. An economic assessment has been conducted, which is an important factor in a certain energy-saving proposition. The solution of the problem is presented, which includes two stages. The result of the first stage is the selection of the optimal heat-insulating material. The second stage is a substantiation of economically expedient thickness of the heatinsulating material. The obtained results make it possible to increase the efficiency of energy saving in thermal renovation of buildings taking into account both energy and economic aspects. In this paper the results of mathematical provement of such factor importance as the thermally conductive cost of the heat-insulating material at their thickness optimization are presented. Determining for the establishment of the normative thermal resistance in the future is the ratio of the cost of thermal energy to the thermal conductivity of the insulating material.

The design of a two-jet air distributor is proposed, which forms a swirled and flat laying air jet, that provides intensive attenuation of air flow velocity and temperature in stationary and variable mode. Measures aimed at saving cold energy are considered, namely, air supply in a variable mode, use of the flooring effect, use of devices for intensification of tidal flow turbulence. A set of optimal measures for obtaining the maximum economic effect is determined. A method of development and calculation of inflow mechanical ventilation systems based on the specified air distributors is proposed. The economic evaluation of the use of air distribution devices proved that the use of a two-jet air distributor makes it possible to obtain some economic effect. The article is devoted to solving of urgent problem to eliminate damage in ventilation system. That is caused by non-adequate long range, stagnant unventilated areas in the room existance and high noise level in the premises at air distribution by swirled air flow, compact air jet, flat air stream and rectangular air jet. A noise level of air supply with swirled air flow, compact air jet, flat air jet and rectangular air stream in the room has been investigated. It is shown that in order to achieve the maximum noise level decreasing it is necessary to ensure its supply by jets, which less intensively attenuate before entering the premise working area. Results of the experimental research are presented as graphical and analytical dependences. The acoustic properties of the swirled air flow, compact air jet, flat air stream and rectangular air jet have been investigated and means of situation improving have been determined. The results of experimental research of air supply to the room are presented. It is established that with the increase of the angle of swirling plates inclination and ratio of the slit sides the air jets noise level decreases.

The research presented in this article is aimed at improving the efficiency of hybrid solar collectors without a transparent coating for building heating systems. One of the key challenges in the field of solar energy is the development of new technologies to ensure high collection of solar energy and to integrate it into traditional heating and hot water systems. The study shows that hybrid solar collectors with the placement of heat carrier circulation circuit tubes above the heat absorber can increase the thermal efficiency factor with a certain change in the angle of inclination and the density of solar radiation. A nomogram was also developed that determines the dependence of this coefficient on the angles of arrival of solar radiation and its density.

The background of this article is the potential energy savings of solar heat supply systems due to the use of the renewable energy of solar radiation. The motivation is to create a solar collector design that would combine the functions of both a building cover and a solar collector. It is necessary to investigate and compare different types of solar collector coatings (traditional and modern) and pipe diameters. The purpose of the article is to solve aspects of energy efficiency for new eco-friendly solar collectors. The most effective result occurred with the solar collector covered with the rubber–graphite composition of Grafplast PDA, and when using Prandelli/Tuborama pipes with a diameter of 0.016 m. Their efficiency increased by 8% compared to the second version of the collector made using a more traditional solution. The influence of the distance between the pipes and the flow rate of the heat carrier on the efficiency of the solar collectors was evaluated.

This article is devoted to increasing the efficiency of ecological solar panels with their combination with the house’s roof. A solar panel construction that combines both the solar collector and the building cover is considered. This work investigates the efficiency of solar panels depending on the type of coating, heat-carrying medium mass flow rate, tube diameter, and the distance between the tubes. Among the coatings, Grafplast PDA roofing material is the most effective. Prandelli/Tuborama tubes with a diameter of 16 mm are recommended. The diameter of the tubes significantly affects the efficiency of the solar panel only at low intensity of solar radiation.

description Publicationkeyboard_double_arrow_right Article 2020 UkrainePublisher:Lviv Polytechnic National University Orest Voznyak; Yuriy Yurkevych; Iryna Sukholova; Oleksandr Dovbush; Mariana Kasynets; The article presents the results of theoretical research to achieve the maximum effect in determination of the economically feasible level of buildings thermal protection.

For further information contact us at helpdesk@openaire.eudescription Publicationkeyboard_double_arrow_right Article 2023Publisher:Lviv Polytechnic National University Authors: Stepan Shapoval; Mariana Kasynets; Bogdan Gulai; Yurii Pryshliak;Increasing the efficiency of solar heat supply systems is one of the important problems of solar energy.
