With the increasing need for energy and the challenges associated with fossil energy sources, the development of New Renewable Energy microgrid technology is a solution, not only has the potential to reduce emissions but also supports sustainable energy that is environmentally friendly. New renewable energy sources integrated in microgrid systems such as solar, wind, water, and bioenergy. Microgrid EBT is very important to support the diversification of energy sources and help provide equitable access to electricity to areas that do not have conventional electricity networks. This research uses a qualitative method. Data were obtained through literature research, document analysis, and information from various scientific sources. The results show that EBT-based microgrids have great potential to meet energy needs in Indonesia, support environmentally friendly sustainable energy development, and accelerate equitable electricity access in Indonesia.
