The article reveals the theoretical and methodological provisions for the formation of the composition of technological elements of the strategic planning system, their interaction with the resource components of the organization of higher education (on the example of Voronezh and St.Petersburg universities) to achieve generalizing and specific targets of quantitative and qualitative nature of the strategic the goal of long-term development of a higher education institution. The concepts of “strategy”, “strategic vision”, “mission of the organization of higher education” are defined. The possibility of optimizing resource consumption in the process of implementing complex measures within the framework of federal, regional, sectoral and local programs and projects of social, economic and innovative development of higher education organizations is substantiated. The priority directions in the development strategy of the analyzed universities are highlighted. The necessity of including such technological elements as strategic analysis, mission, strategic vision, strategic goal, generalizing (basic) strategy, functional (private) strategies in the system of strategic planning of socio-economic and innovative development of the studied universities is substantiated.

As many economic activities have a spatial spillover effect on carbon emissions, this paper selects the data of various provinces and cities from 2003 to 2017 to construct a spatial vector autoregressive model to analyze and study the effects of economic growth and technological innovation on carbon emissions from a spatial perspective. The results of the study found that carbon emissions, economic growth, and technological innovation generally showed positive response characteristics after being impacted by each other in time, but they weakened over time. In space, carbon emissions will also increase with geographic distance, and the response received will continue to weaken.

This study offers a systematic review of the research on the treatment of waste household appliances in China in the past 20 years. A total of 1123 related articles were selected from the CNKI database from 1998 to 2020 to sort out the hot spots, evolution and frontier trends. The results show that: (1) In the past 20 years, the research on waste household appliances in China has followed the development path of “society-technology-human”, gradually evolving from the macro level to the micro level, and the research in the field of waste household appliances governance has begun to take shape. (2) With the increasing enrichment of research methods and the continuous expansion of research ideas, the research topic breaks through the boundaries of single theory and discipline, and reverse logistics, closed-loop supply chain, recycling behavior, recycling and dismantling technology, etc. have become research hotspots. (3) From the initial study of the management experience of developed countries to the study of recycling management with Chinese characteristics, China’s “Internet + recycling” model is ahead of the international level and has become the latest research hotspot.

Having risen to the height of the future development of the country, the cultivation of innovative digital technology design talents has become the general trend of the development of the education industry of the world. How to cultivate students’ innovative ability is a huge challenge for the current education circle. Design thinking is a creative problem-solving thinking model and methodology separated from design. The Paper started with the essence of design thinking. The application and practice of all institutions on the innovation process of design thinking were analyzed, and its modes and ideas in the fields of industry, commerce, and design were combined. The innovative curriculum design was carried out based on the five foundations of the design thinking model of Stanford University, and the operability of teaching links, the iterative cycle of the process, and the effectiveness of students’ hands-on actions were emphasized. In the Paper, effective operation guidance for the cultivation of students’ innovation ability was provided. Besides, a cyclic and iterative co-creation ecosystem in colleges and universities can be built to link the integration of industry and education with digital technology design innovation. In the Paper, the “three innovations” (creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship) were focused to explore a new path to cultivate students’ ability in innovative digital technology design, which is of great significance to the cultivation of innovative talents in digital technology design, the reform of teaching forms, and teaching contents.

Due to a complicated epidemiological situation, current economic situation in Russia and the world gives a push to new researches in the field of ensure sustainable development in all branches of industry. Methods and tools available today cannot fully provide this, so modern economics needs to develop fundamentally new approaches to the study of industries. Within the framework of this research it is proposed to use simulation modeling to predict scenarios of sustainable development of certain industries, in particular metallurgy, mining of metal ores and production of finished metal products. The research is based on systemic-synergistic approach based on the theory of industrial organization, economic growth and development, system dynamics and mathematical economics. The simulation model of metallurgy and related industries development, which is based on a system dynamic flow – streaming stratification, was designed and developed as a result of this research. Ideas of three-sector model, adapted to the sectoral aspects of the functioning of the economic system, are used in the simulation model. The development allows to simulate various scenarios of the development of the industries under study in order to determine the trajectory of their sustainable development. As a demonstration, three scenarios of the development of industries are presented, taking into account changes in the most important component of the economic system - labor force.

Artificial intelligence as a simulator of human behavior and thinking emerged as a result of machine learning. Through AI, they recognize and interpret data, on the basis of which programs of various types of activities are subsequently built. The rapid introduction of artificial intelligence-based technologies into the economic and social spheres of the international community has not been left out of the United Nations’ view from the point of view of using the capabilities of digital computers to solve problems at the level of intelligent beings in order to achieve the goals of sustainable development. The article discusses the specific aspects of I, the application of which will make the process of achieving the SDGs more effective and of high-quality.

With the aggravation of climate change, energy enterprises will gradually assume more and more responsibilities for environmental protection and energy conservation. How to incorporate green ideas into their business management has become an important theme. After reviewing the past background and policies, based on the supply chain model established in the past literature, this paper determines the more important indicators that affect the sustainable development of the company, and based on this, puts forward the points that should be paid attention to in the future management of the enterprise. First, energy companies should incorporate green ideas into their corporate training to raise the morale of their employees. Second, through strict control of upstream and downstream suppliers and the establishment of environmental requirements, so as to improve the green degree of the entire supply chain. Third, in the current society with advanced information technology, the operation of information means to achieve the goal of green management should be the focus of future management.

The processes of a green economy development, changes in approaches to the production and use of energy, the emergence of new sources of investment in the technological transition - all this is a consequence and, at the same time, the cause of structural shifts in the economies of advanced countries. In this light, the technological backwardness of the Russian economy, caused by a negative structural shift during the period of market reforms, impedes the transition to a green economy, rationalization of the use of natural resources and reduction of environmental pollution. Therefore, the development of theoretical provisions for the convergence of environmental and economic policies, the development of appropriate incentives for business are considered as an important step in the transition to sustainable development. For this purpose, the authors examine the original approaches to various paths of transition to sustainable development caused by structural shifts of a convergent nature in the economy.
