description Publicationkeyboard_double_arrow_right Article 2022Publisher:IOP Publishing Authors: M A Bandurin; I A Prikhodko; I P Bandurina; A A Rudenko;Abstract The peculiarity of small rivers is the dependence of erosion-accumulative processes in their beds on the intensity of soil erosion in the catchment area: the smaller the river, the greater the contact with the catchment area of its channel, where mineral particles, washed off from its area, directly enter it. Soil erosion leads to the entry of an excessive amount of them into the channel of a small river, as a result of which sediment accumulation begins in it, siltation of the channel occurs. It leads to changes in the water regime of small rivers - a decrease in inter-soil runoff (up to the drying up of rivers), a sharp reduction in underground power supply. In the humid zone, due to the high water content, the siltation of small rivers is poorly expressed and has a local character. Siltation of small rivers is especially characteristic for the forest-steppe and steppe zones, as well as for the south of the forest zone. In the steppe zone of the European part of Russia, as a result of siltation, rivers of the first order completely disappeared, up to the fourth (up to 40-50 km long), leading to a total reduction of the river network by up to 30 %. In the forest zone, due to the disappearance of sources, the number of rivers of the first and second orders (up to 20 km long) decreased by 2.2 times. During the agricultural period (about 300 years), a layer of sediment with a thickness of 0.5 to 1 m accumulated in the beds and floodplains of small rivers in the southern half of the European part. The erosion of small riverbeds reaches on average only 20 % of washed off products, which is about 60 % of the total river sediment runoff. The rate of siltation of small rivers in the Don basin is 6-12 mm / year with a length of up to 25 km and about 1 mm/year with a length of 100 km and above. Siltation of small rivers is not typical for regions where the soil is washed away by meltwater, since the maximum flow of sediment into the rivers coincides with high water, when the channel-forming activity of water flows is most active.

The location of the plant is shown below in Figure 1. The Novoroscement cement plant is located in the eastern part of the city. After reconstruction of the plant treatment facilities have been installed at the plant and the dust removal system of the clinker cooler was modernized. The location of the enterprise has got a lot of advantages. It is located next to the non-freezing sea, and it has got a convenient transport infrastructure (railways and roads). Cement is a key building material and special attention should be given to the selection of “green technology” in the process of its production. We understand that preference should be given to the more environmentally friendly wet process of cement manufacturing. The location of the plant at the present time is the most convenient both in terms of safety for the life of the population and in the economic sense. The plant operates on such raw materials as marl. The marl’s extraction and delivery to the point of production play an important role.

However, comparing the production of oil and gas with the extraction of other types of minerals, it can be seen that with significantly larger production volumes, the environmental impact is lower here. The purpose of the research is to study the impact of oil and gas production in Russia on the environment in comparison with the industry average situation. To do this, the following tasks are expected to be performed: - identifying the dynamics of the production of fuel resources in Russia in 2017-2020; - determination of indicators of environmental pollution and their comparison with industry averages; - calculation of current costs and investments in fixed assets for environmental protection. In this, first of all, a significant role is played by the features of the mining object, the technologies used and the need to maintain the status of an environmentally friendly industry due to the high share of exports. The main source of pollution is air emissions (hydrocarbons (including volatile organic compounds) - 44.6%, carbon monoxide - 36.3%, solids, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides). Awareness of this problem is also manifested in the structure of investments in environmental protection. Their share in the protection of atmospheric air does not fall below 59% of the total amount of environmental investments.

Gribkova; Marina V. Kuzyakina; D. A. Gura;Abstract The paper identifies bioclimatic comfort zones of the Krasnodar Krai. The studied bioclimatic indices take into account the combined influence of temperature, wind speed, relative humidity, atmospheric pressure, solar radiation in various combinations. The geoinformation analysis of the following bioclimatic indices was carried out: effective temperature, equivalent effective temperature, bioclimatic active temperature, radiation equivalent effective temperature, and a comprehensive indicator of the level of pathogenic weather in the Krasnodar Krai. The pathogenic weather index is the only index considered in this paper that takes into account atmospheric pressure. Comfortable months for living in the Krasnodar Krai have been established, as well as areas of the Krasnodar Krai that are favorable for living at any time of the year. However, peak values are not necessarily adverse. During these periods, sometimes healthy people experience an improvement in mood and a surge of strength, while overworked ones respond by aggravation of their condition. Thus, the Krasnodar Krai was divided into 4 comfort zones: Azov-Black Sea, Black Sea, South-East foothill and continental.

The article presents statistics of waste accumulation in the Russian Federation in recent years. A new technology for transportation and disposal of liquid waste is proposed. The calculation of the parameters of geotextile containers made of high-strength fabric materials based on polypropylene has been developed. The development of chemical industry has allowed us to offer a new cost-effective innovative technology of dewatering and waste disposal based on the use of geotextile containers made of high-strength fabric material. In the Russian Federation, more than 3.5 billion tons of waste are accumulated annually, the amount of which increases with the growth of economic activity. Of the waste produced in 2020, 47% was placed at the enterprises’ own facilities, and 19% was buried. In order to improve the state of the environment, it is necessary to improve waste storage and disposal technologies. The use of geotextile containers made of high-strength fabric materials for dewatering and waste disposal is the most environmentally and cost-effective technology that has no restrictions and contraindications for technical equipment and has all the necessary indicators of strength, rigidity and reliability for effective use.

The main negative processes occurring in soils and leading to their degradation are erosion (water and wind), reduction of humus content in the soil. A significant spread of negative processes developing due to the action of natural and anthropogenic factors leads to a critical decrease in soil fertility. By washing away the upper fertile soil layer and the formation of large gullies due to improper tillage, soil erosion is formed. In order to prevent soil erosion, it is necessary to take measures to prevent an increase in the area of degraded land. The article considers the impact of negative processes, such as water and wind erosion, salinization, overwetting, flooding and waterlogging of soils, etc. on the land fund.

description Publicationkeyboard_double_arrow_right Article 2022Publisher:IOP Publishing Authors: M A Bandurin; I A Prikhodko; I P Bandurina; A A Rudenko;Abstract The peculiarity of small rivers is the dependence of erosion-accumulative processes in their beds on the intensity of soil erosion in the catchment area: the smaller the river, the greater the contact with the catchment area of its channel, where mineral particles, washed off from its area, directly enter it.
