Actualmente disponemos de información sufi ciente para explorar la idea de que la Tierra posee un sistema circulatorio responsable de capturar, transformar y distribuir la energía solar. El papel de los océanos como reguladores del clima es extraordinario, realmente condicionan el presente y el futuro del planeta [EN] In the early sixteenth century, Leonardo da Vinci compared the ocean currents with the blood fl ow of a human body. Now we have enough information to explore the idea that the Earth has a circulatory system responsible for capturing, transforming and distributing solar energy.
