Many see Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR); meaning social and environmental sustainability in businesses, as one of the key solutions. CSR cannot be accomplished alone by businesses, which is why the term also includes involving the company’s various stakeholders. In Denmark people place high importance on CSR. However, according to existing theory, Danes do not respond well to direct communication about CSR activities. This means that companies cannot differentiate themselves through these initiatives, which is a dilemma for those that want to engage in CSR communication, but are afraid of a backlash in terms of being accused of greenwashing. Stakeholder involvement in CSR communication has been researched quantitatively, but not carried out in practice. On this basis, we explore how businesses can employ stakeholder involvement to communicate about their CSR activities in a way that makes sense for these various stakeholder groups. Thus, the research question consists of two parts: the process, which is stakeholder involvement, and the product, which is a CSR communication strategy. To carry out the research we have worked with Innocent, a company that makes smoothies and implements many CSR principles. We carried out four focus groups with the company’s stakeholders. In accordance with our social constructivist, phenomenological and action research orientation the overall objective was to treat the participants as co-producers of knowledge. The focus groups were based on dialogical theories and a Sense Making approach in order to create room for participation, and to take into account the power relations among participants. Furthermore, because CSR and CSR communication are complex concepts, the focus groups were structured around various creative exercises, which inspired the participants and their interaction. Our findings showed that a company’s context plays a major role for the perception of its CSR activities and the preferred CSR communication, and it is essential that the CSR efforts and communication are an integrated part of the company. Therefore, we cannot provide a ‘one size fits all’ CSR communication solution. Instead, we conclude that stakeholder involvement can be used to determine companies’ integrated CSR communication strategies and have created a practical guide for business to carry out this process. In this way, contextualized and integrated CSR communication can make sense for the various stakeholders.

Forecasts concerning the years 1985, 1990 and 1995 can now be compared to the actual values. The second oil crises resulted in big positive forcast errors. The oil price drop in 1986 did not have a similar effect. A correction for economic growth reduces forecast errors during the second oil crises but not elsewhere. Industry has a relatively big positive forecast error while transportation has a negative forecast error. Even when the forecast error is small, the results are not so "nice" because the small value is often the sum of large positive and negative errors.

Lokale forhold kan derudover have stor betydning for resultaterne.

K.; Birr-Pedersen, K.; Wier, M.;Environmental taxes imposed on households have been introduced in many countries. However, few countries have reached the level of environmental taxation that is seen in Denmark today, although many are considering shifting the tax burden towards theconsumption that is harming the environment. The total tax burden imposed on households in Denmark in the form of taxes on energy use of all kinds, water consumption and waste production, etc., is considerable. This paper analyses the individual taxes aswell as the combination of all these taxes and duties related to environmental concerns, including taxes on heating, transport fuels, electricity, water, waste, plastic bags, registration of cars, annual car use, pesticides, etc. The distributionaleffect of taxes is examined in relation to household income, socio-economic class, residential location and family status. The shifting of the tax structure from high marginal income tax to consumption-based taxes, especially environmental taxes, mighthave distributional impacts amongst income groups which have not been considered part of the tax policy. The taxes are compared with respect to distributional impact. Do the effects of the different taxes vary to such an extent that this should beconsidered when designing tax policies? The hypothesis is that some environmental taxes associated with luxury income are less regressive than the average envi-ronmental tax. The results suggest that in Denmark taxes on petrol and registration duties forcars are progressive, whereas most other environmental taxes are regressive, especially the green taxes on water, retail containers and CO2.
