En el marco del Proyecto europeo RESCCUE, las proyecciones climáticas para la ciudad de Barcelona muestran aumentos significativos de las intensidades máximas de precipitación para el horizonte del 2071-2100. En este trabajo se presenta la evaluación de la resiliencia de los servicios urbanos de la ciudad frente a episodios de inundación para condiciones de lluvia actuales y futuras. El uso de modelos sectoriales e integrados ha permitido valorar la respuesta del sistema de drenaje de la ciudad tanto a nivel de sistema de alcantarillado subterráneo como a nivel superficial analizando el comportamiento hidráulico del conjunto de las superficies urbanas (calles, plazas, parques, etc.). Algunas oxidorreductasas fúngicas que pertenecen a esta superfamilia desempeñan la función de enzimas auxiliares en el proceso de degradación de la lignocelulosa. La mayor parte de ellas son oxidorreductasas extracelulares que producen el H2O2 requerido: (i) por las peroxidasas de alto potencial redox para actuar sobre la lignina; o (ii) para desencadenar las reaciones de Fenton, que dan lugar a especies radicales de oxígeno que atacan a la lignocelulosa.El estudio de los genomas de 10 hongos seleccionados del orden Poliporales, los únicos organismos capaces de mineralizar totalmente la lignina, arrojó luz sobre la participación de 5 familias de oxidorreductasas GMC en la descomposición de la lignocelulosa. Estas fueron las glucosa oxidasas (GOX), celobiosa deshidrogenasas (CDH), piranosa 2-oxidasas (P2O), metanol oxidasas (MOX) y aril-alcohol oxidasas (AAO). Los estudios filogenéticos sugieren que estas enzimas comparten un ancestro común cuya diversificación tuvo lugar en una etapa más temprana de la evolución fúngica, que se caracterizó por el escaso número de estos genes GMC. Las AAO y las MOX resultaron ser las oxidorreductasas GMC más abundantes en los genomas seleccionados. El número de genes que codifican para estas proteínas varía ampliamente de un genoma a otro de acuerdo con las características ecofisiológicas de cada hongo...

Sin embargo, falta mucho para que el sol sea una fuente energética principal. Numerosos centros de investigación y empresas trabajan para mejorar la eficiencia de los paneles solares, aumentar su vida útil y producir nuevos materiales. Algunos gobiernos han apostado económicamente y han establecido marcos regulatorios para apoyar dichas innovaciones. La sociedad civil debe tener también un rol central. Tal como a menudo sentencian los movimientos activistas “la revolución energética en manos de la ciudadanía es el camino”. ‘GenerationSolar’ es una iniciativa de ciencia ciudadana, enmarcada en el proyecto europeo GRECO, con dos objetivos principales: a) empoderar a la ciudadanía mediante acciones que fomentan un conocimiento más profundo sobre la energía solar, su investigación y sus usos; y b) establecer una plataforma en la que la propia ciudadanía participe activamente en la investigación. La ciencia ciudadana representa un campo de acción a caballo entre múltiples disciplinas, si bien ha sido desde el sector de la comunicación científica, médica y ambiental desde donde ha sido más activa. Hace ya décadas que se intenta mejorar el equilibrio entre la comunicación unidireccional (el que sabe instruye al que no sabe) y las formas de comunicación más innovadoras basadas en la participación y la colaboración para la acción. GRECO unió a investigadoras, comunicadoras y ciudadanas -a través de encuestas, una hackathon online y desarrollo informático- para lanzar GenerationSolar en el Día de la Tierra 2020: un aplicativo móvil en el cual la ciudadanía registra sus instalaciones y crea una base de datos sobre la producción solar global. A dos meses del lanzamiento, la app cuenta con 71 registros y más de 22 MW de energía reportada. -- ENG -- After decades of technological advances and price reductions, solar energy can compete in the marketplace with fossil fuels in many regions of the world. However, the sun is a long way from being a main energy source. Numerous research centers and companies are working to improve the efficiency of solar panels, increase their useful life and produce new materials. Some governments have gambled economically and established regulatory frameworks to support such innovations. Civil society must also have a central role. As activist movements often state, "the energy revolution in the hands of the citizens is the way." ‘GenerationSolar’ is a citizen science initiative, framed in the European GRECO project, with two main objectives: a) to empower citizens through actions that promote a deeper understanding of solar energy, its research and its uses; and b) to establish a platform in which citizens themselves actively participate in the investigation. Citizen science represents a field of action between multiple disciplines, although it has been from the scientific, medical and environmental communication sector where it has been most active. For decades, attempts have been made to improve the balance between one-way communication (the one who knows teches the one who does not) and the most innovative forms of communication based on participation and collaboration for action. GRECO brought together researchers, communicators and citizens - through surveys, an online hackathon and computer development - to launch GenerationSolar on Earth Day 2020: a mobile application in which citizens register their facilities and create a database on global solar production. Two months after launch, the app has 71 records and more than 22 MW of reported energy.

Para ello, se han definido cinco esquemas de coordinación TSO/DSO orientados a definir la solución óptima para la provisión de servicios auxiliares desde las redes de distribución al sistema de transporte, así como los mecanismos de intercambio de información necesarios. En el presente artículo se exploran las percepciones sociales sobre la energía nuclear en España a partir de un análisis de encuestas de opinión y de los argumentos de actores de tres estudios de caso (Vandellós I, Valdecaballeros y ATC). Los resultados muestran cómo las argumentaciones de unos y otros actores se basan en diferentes dimensiones del riesgo, a menudo ignoradas en las encuestas y por varios de los actores, lo cual supone una seria dificultad para superar las controversias suscitadas por este tipo de energía. Nuclear energy is a complex technology that requires intensive use of resources and high centralized decision-making processes, whose governance poses a real challenge for democratic societies. In this article we explore the social perceptions about nuclear energy in Spain through the analysis of opinion surveys and secondary data about the main actors of three case studies (Vandellós I, Valdecaballeros, and Radioactive Waste Storage). The results show how the arguments of the several actors are based on very different dimensions of risk, often ignored in the surveys and by the actors, which represents a serious difficulty to overcome the controversies caused by this type of energy.

A través de una etnografía del Estado, esta investigación tiene por objetivo analizar el rol de la política climática chilena ante la vulnerabilidad climática del pueblo mapuche, a través del caso de la comuna de Lonquimay. Por medio del enfoque de la ecología política y la teoría decolonial, se analiza la vulnerabilidad climática del pueblo mapuche e identifican los efectos del cambio ambiental, y en específico del cambio climático, en esta comuna. Luego, examina la gobernanza climática chilena y su implementación, indagando sobre la consideración de la participación y los conocimientos indígenas. Así como también, caracteriza las comprensiones de vulnerabilidad climática de los diversos actores involucrados. Se condujo una etnografía multilocal bajo tres niveles de análisis: local, nacional e internacional. Al revisar la política climática actual y recoger la opinión de distintos actores involucrados, se puede observar que, no obstante existir voluntades individuales, el Estado no ha considerado la vulnerabilidad y participación del pueblo mapuche como elementos claves en la elaboración de la política climática. Aunque por un lado se reconoce el aporte que los pueblos indígenas pueden entregar para enfrentar el cambio climático, sus conocimientos siguen siendo subestimados y excluidos en los procesos de toma de decisión, replicando dinámicas multiculturalistas que han modelado la política indígena desde el retorno de la democracia. El caso chileno ilustra el tipo de reconocimiento que se le entrega a los pueblos indígenas en la política climática internacional y, por lo tanto, su análisis permite identificar las barreras que dificultan la efectiva colaboración. En el marco del Proyecto europeo RESCCUE, las proyecciones climáticas para la ciudad de Barcelona muestran aumentos significativos de las intensidades máximas de precipitación para el horizonte del 2071-2100. En este trabajo se presenta la evaluación de la resiliencia de los servicios urbanos de la ciudad frente a episodios de inundación para condiciones de lluvia actuales y futuras. El uso de modelos sectoriales e integrados ha permitido valorar la respuesta del sistema de drenaje de la ciudad tanto a nivel de sistema de alcantarillado subterráneo como a nivel superficial analizando el comportamiento hidráulico del conjunto de las superficies urbanas (calles, plazas, parques, etc.). Algunas oxidorreductasas fúngicas que pertenecen a esta superfamilia desempeñan la función de enzimas auxiliares en el proceso de degradación de la lignocelulosa. La mayor parte de ellas son oxidorreductasas extracelulares que producen el H2O2 requerido: (i) por las peroxidasas de alto potencial redox para actuar sobre la lignina; o (ii) para desencadenar las reaciones de Fenton, que dan lugar a especies radicales de oxígeno que atacan a la lignocelulosa.El estudio de los genomas de 10 hongos seleccionados del orden Poliporales, los únicos organismos capaces de mineralizar totalmente la lignina, arrojó luz sobre la participación de 5 familias de oxidorreductasas GMC en la descomposición de la lignocelulosa. Estas fueron las glucosa oxidasas (GOX), celobiosa deshidrogenasas (CDH), piranosa 2-oxidasas (P2O), metanol oxidasas (MOX) y aril-alcohol oxidasas (AAO). Los estudios filogenéticos sugieren que estas enzimas comparten un ancestro común cuya diversificación tuvo lugar en una etapa más temprana de la evolución fúngica, que se caracterizó por el escaso número de estos genes GMC. Las AAO y las MOX resultaron ser las oxidorreductasas GMC más abundantes en los genomas seleccionados. Sin embargo, falta mucho para que el sol sea una fuente energética principal. Numerosos centros de investigación y empresas trabajan para mejorar la eficiencia de los paneles solares, aumentar su vida útil y producir nuevos materiales. Algunos gobiernos han apostado económicamente y han establecido marcos regulatorios para apoyar dichas innovaciones. La sociedad civil debe tener también un rol central. Tal como a menudo sentencian los movimientos activistas “la revolución energética en manos de la ciudadanía es el camino”. ‘GenerationSolar’ es una iniciativa de ciencia ciudadana, enmarcada en el proyecto europeo GRECO, con dos objetivos principales: a) empoderar a la ciudadanía mediante acciones que fomentan un conocimiento más profundo sobre la energía solar, su investigación y sus usos; y b) establecer una plataforma en la que la propia ciudadanía participe activamente en la investigación. La ciencia ciudadana representa un campo de acción a caballo entre múltiples disciplinas, si bien ha sido desde el sector de la comunicación científica, médica y ambiental desde donde ha sido más activa. Hace ya décadas que se intenta mejorar el equilibrio entre la comunicación unidireccional (el que sabe instruye al que no sabe) y las formas de comunicación más innovadoras basadas en la participación y la colaboración para la acción. GRECO unió a investigadoras, comunicadoras y ciudadanas -a través de encuestas, una hackathon online y desarrollo informático- para lanzar GenerationSolar en el Día de la Tierra 2020: un aplicativo móvil en el cual la ciudadanía registra sus instalaciones y crea una base de datos sobre la producción solar global. A dos meses del lanzamiento, la app cuenta con 71 registros y más de 22 MW de energía reportada. -- ENG -- After decades of technological advances and price reductions, solar energy can compete in the marketplace with fossil fuels in many regions of the world. However, the sun is a long way from being a main energy source. Numerous research centers and companies are working to improve the efficiency of solar panels, increase their useful life and produce new materials. Some governments have gambled economically and established regulatory frameworks to support such innovations. Civil society must also have a central role. As activist movements often state, "the energy revolution in the hands of the citizens is the way." ‘GenerationSolar’ is a citizen science initiative, framed in the European GRECO project, with two main objectives: a) to empower citizens through actions that promote a deeper understanding of solar energy, its research and its uses; and b) to establish a platform in which citizens themselves actively participate in the investigation. Citizen science represents a field of action between multiple disciplines, although it has been from the scientific, medical and environmental communication sector where it has been most active. For decades, attempts have been made to improve the balance between one-way communication (the one who knows teches the one who does not) and the most innovative forms of communication based on participation and collaboration for action. GRECO brought together researchers, communicators and citizens - through surveys, an online hackathon and computer development - to launch GenerationSolar on Earth Day 2020: a mobile application in which citizens register their facilities and create a database on global solar production. Two months after launch, the app has 71 records and more than 22 MW of reported energy.

En el presente artículo se exploran las percepciones sociales sobre la energía nuclear en España a partir de un análisis de encuestas de opinión y de los argumentos de actores de tres estudios de caso (Vandellós I, Valdecaballeros y ATC). Los resultados muestran cómo las argumentaciones de unos y otros actores se basan en diferentes dimensiones del riesgo, a menudo ignoradas en las encuestas y por varios de los actores, lo cual supone una seria dificultad para superar las controversias suscitadas por este tipo de energía. Nuclear energy is a complex technology that requires intensive use of resources and high centralized decision-making processes, whose governance poses a real challenge for democratic societies. In this article we explore the social perceptions about nuclear energy in Spain through the analysis of opinion surveys and secondary data about the main actors of three case studies (Vandellós I, Valdecaballeros, and Radioactive Waste Storage). The results show how the arguments of the several actors are based on very different dimensions of risk, often ignored in the surveys and by the actors, which represents a serious difficulty to overcome the controversies caused by this type of energy.

A través de una etnografía del Estado, esta investigación tiene por objetivo analizar el rol de la política climática chilena ante la vulnerabilidad climática del pueblo mapuche, a través del caso de la comuna de Lonquimay. Por medio del enfoque de la ecología política y la teoría decolonial, se analiza la vulnerabilidad climática del pueblo mapuche e identifican los efectos del cambio ambiental, y en específico del cambio climático, en esta comuna. Luego, examina la gobernanza climática chilena y su implementación, indagando sobre la consideración de la participación y los conocimientos indígenas. Así como también, caracteriza las comprensiones de vulnerabilidad climática de los diversos actores involucrados. Se condujo una etnografía multilocal bajo tres niveles de análisis: local, nacional e internacional. Al revisar la política climática actual y recoger la opinión de distintos actores involucrados, se puede observar que, no obstante existir voluntades individuales, el Estado no ha considerado la vulnerabilidad y participación del pueblo mapuche como elementos claves en la elaboración de la política climática. Aunque por un lado se reconoce el aporte que los pueblos indígenas pueden entregar para enfrentar el cambio climático, sus conocimientos siguen siendo subestimados y excluidos en los procesos de toma de decisión, replicando dinámicas multiculturalistas que han modelado la política indígena desde el retorno de la democracia. El caso chileno ilustra el tipo de reconocimiento que se le entrega a los pueblos indígenas en la política climática internacional y, por lo tanto, su análisis permite identificar las barreras que dificultan la efectiva colaboración. Para fortalecer la participación de los pueblos indígenas es necesario en primer lugar revisar la política pública que se implementa en sus territorios, pero por sobre todo, abordar los procesos históricos y las relaciones desiguales que construyen la vulnerabilidad climática en primer lugar. ; Through an ethnography of the state, this research aims to ...
