Facultat de Ciències Polítiques i de Sociologia;Des d'inicis del segle XXI, els nostres municipis ja no son administracions bolcades quasi exclusivament a un número molt reduït de funcions bàsiques. Des d'aquest moment, la necessitat de millorar els mecanismes de comunicació i consulta per assegurar una governança participativa i sostenible en la formulació de polítiques municipals és fonamental. Aquesta recerca examina la repercussió de la manca de participació ciutadana en la implementació d'un nou sistema de recollida de residus a Ripollet, especialment en relació amb la derrota del govern de Decidim Ripollet a les eleccions municipals del 2023 presumptament conseqüent. Mitjançant aquest policy paper, s'investiguen les causes d'aquesta falta d'implicació ciutadana i les conseqüències polítiques resultants. Since the early 21st century, our municipalities are no longer administrations dedicated almost exclusively to a very limited number of basic functions. From this moment on, the need to improve communication and consultation mechanisms to ensure participatory and sustainable governance in the formulation of municipal policies is fundamental. This research examines the impact of the lack of citizen participation in the implementation of a new waste collection system in Ripollet, especially in relation to the defeat of the Decidim Ripollet government in the 2023 municipal elections, presumably as a consequence. Through this policy paper, the causes of this lack of citizen involvement and the resulting political consequences are investigated.

El propòsit del present treball és assenyalar la situació a la qual ens trobem per tal d'oferir un mapa general del problema pràctic al qual hem de fer front. Un cop presentat el problema a resoldre, realitzar una aproximació crítica, a partir d'una anàlisi filosòfica, a les postures i propostes que diversos autors han ofert des de l'ètica ecològica i l'ecofeminisme com a punt de partida per a les seves reflexions. The ecological disaster is a serious problem that has a considerable impact on our present; this situation will only get worse in the near future. The purpose of this paper is to identify the current situation in order to provide a general overview of the practical problem we need to deal with. Once the problem to be solved has been described, we will make a critical approach, based on a philosophical analysis, to the views and proposals from various authors who study ecological ethics and ecofeminism as a starting point for their ideas.

Facultat de Dret;El present Treball de Fi de Grau té el propòsit analitzar de manera exhaustiva el règim jurídic vigent aplicable als productes cosmètics en relació amb els aspectes de sostenibilitat de la matèria. D'aquesta manera, la investigació parteix de la incorporació, en els darrers anys, de consideracions mediambientals prèviament absents en el règim jurídic aplicable als productes cosmètics. En concret, el plantejament inicial es centralitza en la pertinència del règim jurídic en contraposició amb la consecució d'objectius adequats de caràcter mediambiental. El presente Trabajo de Fin de Grado tiene el propósito de analizar de manera exhaustiva el régimen jurídico vigente aplicable a los productos cosméticos en relación con los aspectos de sostenibilidad de la materia. De este modo, la investigación parte de la incorporación, en los últimos años, de consideraciones medioambientales previamente ausentes en el régimen jurídico aplicable a los productos cosméticos. En concreto, el planteamiento inicial se centraliza en la pertinencia del régimen jurídico en contraposición con la consecución de objetivos adecuados de carácter medioambiental. The purpose of this Final Degree Project is to comprehensively analyse the current legal regime applicable to cosmetic products concerning the sustainability aspects of the subject. Thus, the research is based on the integration, in recent years, of environmental considerations previously absent in the legal regime applicable to cosmetic products. In particular, the initial discussion focuses on the relevance of the legal regime as contrasted with the achievement of appropriate environmental objectives.

Escola d'Enginyeria;La fundació FAADA va realitzar anteriorment un projecte on es calculava la petjada ecològica d'una sèrie d'aliments. Ells tenien un document amb format excel on ells tenien totes les dades emmagatzemades i l'usuari a través d'una sèrie de columnes podia realitzar el càlcul de la petjada del seu menú. El quatrimestre passat, en Robert (estudiant de la UAB) va realitzar l'aplicació mòbil per a dispositus Android, per tant, els hi faltava una pàgina web on es realitzessin els mateixos càlcus per poder implementar a la seva pròpia pàgina web. La fundación FAADA realizó anteriormente un proyecto donde se calculaba la huella ecológica de una serie de alimentos. Tenían un documento en formato Excel donde almacenaban todos los datos, y a través de una serie de columnas, el usuario podía realizar el cálculo de la huella de su menú. El semestre pasado, Robert (estudiante de la UAB) desarrolló la aplicación móvil para dispositivos Android. Sin embargo, les faltaba una página web donde se realizaran los mismos cálculos para poder implementarla en su propio sitio web. The FAADA foundation previously carried out a project in which the ecological footprint of a series of foods was calculated. They had an Excel document where they stored all the data, and users could perform the calculation of their menu's footprint through a series of columns. Last semester, Robert (a student from UAB) developed the mobile application for Android devices. However, they were lacking a website where the same calculations could be performed to implement it on their own web page.

Facultat de Ciències;Per conservar la reserva de la biosfera de Menorca, es necessari potenciar el consum de productes locals, les bones pràctiques agrícoles i la preservació de les tradicions de l'illa. La finalitat d'aquest projecte és fer una anàlisi ambiental, social i econòmic integrant diferents eines i analitzant-les des d'una visió interdisciplinària per tal de poder tenir una visió global i detallada de l'estat actual del producte local a l'illa de Menorca. Per assolir aquests objectius s'ha organitzat una metodologia diversa i separada entre els diversos blocs dels treball (Ambiental, Econòmic, Ecoeficiència i Social). Per dur a terme l'anàlisi del bloc ambiental d'aquest treball i per tal d'avaluar l'impacte ambiental del transport associat als productes que són importats a l'illa, és necessari recopilar la informació sobre l'origen de producció dels productes seleccionats. De cara a realitzar l'anàlisi d'ecoeficiència dels productes, es tracten les dades econòmiques i ambientals recopilades a l'estudi. Del bloc econòmic s'utilitzen els diferents preus de cada producte en els diversos llocs d'estudi (supermercats i mercats locals) i del bloc ambiental s'utilitza el càlcul de la petjada de carboni per a cadascun d'aquests productes. Per a dur a terme l'anàlisi de la percepció social es realitzen enquestes als consumidors (mercats i supermercats) i entrevistes a diferents actors del cicle del producte local. Els resultats més importants assolits són: que els productes importats elaborats sempre són més econòmics que els locals, en contraposició en el cas dels productes frescos el 71% són més econòmics els locals. En l'àmbit ambiental, cal destacar que els productes importats tenen un increment del impacte ambiental en el transport entre el 13-592% sobre els locals. La informació que proporcionen els nivells de coneixements de les etiquetes agroalimentàries, en relació a l'ecoeficiència dels productes elaborats dona conclusions correlatives. L'etiqueta més coneguda per un 96% enquestats, és la del formatge DO Maó-Menorca; aquest producte és juntament amb la llet, el producte més ecoeficient dels elaborats. Pel que fa a les respostes obtingudes amb les entrevistes cal destacar que, la definició més completa de producte local és proporcionada pels productors i l'OBSAM, en canvi, l'administració és l'actor que defineix producte local de manera menys precisa. Per tant, al ser tots aquests actors claus en el cicle del producte local, es pot afirmar que és completament necessària una definició única i compartida del que és producte local per tal de poder dur a terme una bona promoció del producte local de l'illa. Per acabar, la majoria d'entrevistats consideren que els actors més importants són els productors i l'administració, i els consumidors enquestats consideren que la barrera principal per no comprar producte local és el preu. Per últim, es proposen un seguit de línies estratègiques, programes i accions per tal d'augmentar l'oferta i la demanda de producte local agroalimentari, enfortint el sector agroalimentari menorquí i progressant cap a una major sobirania alimentària. To preserve the biosphere reserve of Menorca is necessary to promote the consumption of local produce, good agricultural practices and the preservation of the traditions of the island. The purpose of this project is to make an environmental, social and economic project integrating different tools and analysing them from an interdisciplinary approach in order to have a detailed overview of the current state of the local product on the island Menorca. To achieve these goals has organized a diverse methodology and separated between different blocks of work (Environmental, Economic, Social and eco-efficiency). To perform the analysis of the environmental unit of this work and to evaluate the environmental impact of transport associated with the products that are imported to the island, it is necessary to gather information on the origin of production of the products selected. Facing the analysis of ecoefficiency of products, treated the economic and environmental data collected in the study. The economic bloc used different prices for each product in the different study sites (supermarkets and local markets) and environmental block is used to calculate the carbon footprint for each of these products. Finally, to carry out the social block, are made surveys to the consumers (market and supermarkets) and interviews for different key participants of the cycle of local products of the island. The most important results are achieved; that imported products are always made cheaper than local, as opposed to the case of fresh products are 71% cheaper premises. In the environmental field, note that imported products have increased the environmental impact in transportation between 13 to 592% of the premises. Por último, se proponen una serie de líneas estratégicas, programas y acciones para aumentar la oferta y la demanda de producto local agroalimentario, fortaleciendo el sector agroalimentario menorquín y progresando hacia una mayor soberanía alimentaria.

Learning about any STEM content can also include the view of global justice in order to promote critical thinking among students by inviting them to be the protagonists of an action of social transformation. In this sense, the (r)evolution of home appliances is a didactic sequence that was conceived within the EduglobalSTEM working group to work on electricity and gender stereotypes in Technology and Insdustrial Technology subjects in 2nd of ESO and 1st of Batxillerat respectively.

Alguns estudis analitzats indican que els Pirineus patiran un augment de la temperatura que influirà decisivament en la viabilitat de les estacions d'esquí, en pujar la cota de neu i disminuir la duració de la temporada. En el context de la resposta al canvi climàtic les estacions d'esquí i el sector turístic de neu poden considerar diferents mesures d'adaptació, atenent al seu grau de vulnerabilitat i les seves característiques geogràfiques pròpies. Amb sistemes de neu artificial hom preveu que bona part de les estacions podrien respondre fins el 2050, però només les estacions més altes seran viables a partir d'aquesta dècada i fins a final de segle, si be existiran grans diferencies depenent de la ubicació geogràfica. La variabilitat climàtica modificarà les destinacions triades pels turistes, amb conseqüències tant positives com negatives en la dinàmica dels fluxos turístics als Pirineus. Aquestes modificacions podrien ser una oportunitat per orientar els futurs canvis del model productiu de neu actual cap a un model productiu més estable i sostenible, amb un impacte ambiental menys intens però amb un caràcter molt més extensiu. La incertesa que genera l'impacte del canvi climàtic en les regions de muntanya podria donar pas a noves estratègies i oportunitats. El sector turístico de nieve de los Pirineos se caracteriza por ser uno de los motores económicos de este territorio. Algunos estudios analizados indican que los Pirineos sufrirán un aumento de la temperatura que influirá decisivamente en la viabilidad de las estaciones de esquí, al elevarse la cota de nieve y disminuir la duración de la temporada. En el contexto de la respuesta al cambio climático las estaciones de esquí y el sector turístico de nieve pueden considerar diferentes medidas de adaptación, atendiendo a su grado de vulnerabilidad y a sus características geográficas propias. Con sistemas de nieve artificial la mayor parte de las estaciones podrían responder hasta 2050, pero sólo las estaciones más altas serán viables a partir de esta década y hasta final de siglo, si bien existirán grandes diferencias dependiendo de la ubicación geográfica. La variabilidad climática modificará los destinos elegidos por los turistas, con consecuencias tanto positivas como negativas en la dinámica de los flujos turísticos en los Pirineos. Estas modificaciones podrían ser una oportunidad para orientar los futuros cambios del modelo productivo de nieve actual hacia un modelo productivo más estable y sostenible, con un impacto ambiental menos intenso pero con un carácter mucho más extensivo. La incertidumbre que genera el impacto del cambio climático en las regiones de montaña podría dar paso a nuevas estrategias y oportunidades. The snow tourism sector in the Pyrenees is characterized by being one of the economic engines of this territory. Some studies analyzed indicate that the Pyrenees will suffer a rise in temperature increasing temperatures in the medium and long term will have a decisive influence on the viability of ski resorts, by raising the snow level and decreasing the duration of the season. In the context of the response to climate change, ski resorts and the snow tourism sector may consider different adaptation measures, depending on their degree of vulnerability and their own geographical characteristics. With artificial snow systems, most resorts will be able to respond, but only the highest resorts will be viable from this decade until the end of the century, although there will be large differences depending on geographic location. Climate variability will change the destinations chosen by tourists, causing both positive and negative repercussions on the dynamics of tourist flows in the Pyrenees. These modifications could be an opportunity to guide future changes in the current snow production model towards a more stable and sustainable production model with a less intense environmental impact but with a much more extensive character. The uncertainty change on mountain regions could lead to new strategies and opportunities.

Davant d'aquest panorama apareixen alternatives al model predominant d'habitatge especulatiu, com és l'habitatge cooperatiu en cessió d'ús. És per aquesta raó que ens interessa abordar la sostenibilitat i característiques d'aquest model alternatiu. El supòsit de partida és pensar que els models d'habitatge alternatius (cooperatius) poden suposar una millora de les condicions de la sostenibilitat econòmica, social i ambiental, però que hi pot haver diferències i obstacles en funció dels diferents tipus d'habitatges cooperatius. La vivienda es un problema al orden del día, este siglo se han vivido dos grandes crisis como son la burbuja inmobiliaria del 2007 y la crisis de los alquileres actuales. Ante este panorama aparecen alternativas al modelo predominante de vivienda especulativa, como es la vivienda cooperativa en cesión de uso. Es por esta razón que nos interesa abordar la sostenibilidad y características de este modelo alternativo. El punto de partida es pensar que los modelos de vivienda alternativos (cooperativos) pueden suponer una mejora de las condiciones de la sostenibilidad económica, social y ambiental, pero que puede haber diferencias y obstáculos en función de los diferentes tipos de viviendas cooperativas. Housing is an issue in day to day life, this century has seen two major crises: the real estate bubble of 2007 and the current rental crisis. Against this backdrop, alternatives have been created to the predominant model of speculative housing, such as cooperative housing in Right-of-use. It is for this reason that we are interested in addressing the sustainability and characteristics of this alternative model. The initial assumption is to think that alternative (cooperative) housing models can lead to an improvement of the conditions of economic, social and environmental sustainability, but that there may be differences and obstacles depending on the different types of cooperative housing.

Departament d'Economia Aplicada;This paper uses the possibilities provided by the regression-based inequality decomposition (Fields, 2003) to explore the contribution of different explanatory factors to international inequality in CO2 emissions per capita. In contrast to previous emissions inequality decompositions, which were based on identity relationships (Duro and Padilla, 2006), this methodology does not impose any a priori specific relationship. Thus, it allows an assessment of the contribution to inequality of different relevant variables. In short, the paper appraises the relative contributions of affluence, sectoral composition, demographic factors and climate. The analysis is applied to selected years of the period 1993-2007. The results show the important (though decreasing) share of the contribution of demographic factors, as well as a significant contribution of affluence and sectoral composition.

Facultat de Ciències Polítiques i de Sociologia;Des d'inicis del segle XXI, els nostres municipis ja no son administracions bolcades quasi exclusivament a un número molt reduït de funcions bàsiques. Des d'aquest moment, la necessitat de millorar els mecanismes de comunicació i consulta per assegurar una governança participativa i sostenible en la formulació de polítiques municipals és fonamental. Aquesta recerca examina la repercussió de la manca de participació ciutadana en la implementació d'un nou sistema de recollida de residus a Ripollet, especialment en relació amb la derrota del govern de Decidim Ripollet a les eleccions municipals del 2023 presumptament conseqüent. Mitjançant aquest policy paper, s'investiguen les causes d'aquesta falta d'implicació ciutadana i les conseqüències polítiques resultants. Since the early 21st century, our municipalities are no longer administrations dedicated almost exclusively to a very limited number of basic functions. From this moment on, the need to improve communication and consultation mechanisms to ensure participatory and sustainable governance in the formulation of municipal policies is fundamental. This research examines the impact of the lack of citizen participation in the implementation of a new waste collection system in Ripollet, especially in relation to the defeat of the Decidim Ripollet government in the 2023 municipal elections, presumably as a consequence. Through this policy paper, the causes of this lack of citizen involvement and the resulting political consequences are investigated.

El propòsit del present treball és assenyalar la situació a la qual ens trobem per tal d'oferir un mapa general del problema pràctic al qual hem de fer front. Un cop presentat el problema a resoldre, realitzar una aproximació crítica, a partir d'una anàlisi filosòfica, a les postures i propostes que diversos autors han ofert des de l'ètica ecològica i l'ecofeminisme com a punt de partida per a les seves reflexions. The ecological disaster is a serious problem that has a considerable impact on our present; this situation will only get worse in the near future. The purpose of this paper is to identify the current situation in order to provide a general overview of the practical problem we need to deal with. Once the problem to be solved has been described, we will make a critical approach, based on a philosophical analysis, to the views and proposals from various authors who study ecological ethics and ecofeminism as a starting point for their ideas.

D'aquesta manera, la investigació parteix de la incorporació, en els darrers anys, de consideracions mediambientals prèviament absents en el règim jurídic aplicable als productes cosmètics. En concret, el plantejament inicial es centralitza en la pertinència del règim jurídic en contraposició amb la consecució d'objectius adequats de caràcter mediambiental. El presente Trabajo de Fin de Grado tiene el propósito de analizar de manera exhaustiva el régimen jurídico vigente aplicable a los productos cosméticos en relación con los aspectos de sostenibilidad de la materia. De este modo, la investigación parte de la incorporación, en los últimos años, de consideraciones medioambientales previamente ausentes en el régimen jurídico aplicable a los productos cosméticos. En concreto, el planteamiento inicial se centraliza en la pertinencia del régimen jurídico en contraposición con la consecución de objetivos adecuados de carácter medioambiental. The purpose of this Final Degree Project is to comprehensively analyse the current legal regime applicable to cosmetic products concerning the sustainability aspects of the subject. Thus, the research is based on the integration, in recent years, of environmental considerations previously absent in the legal regime applicable to cosmetic products. In particular, the initial discussion focuses on the relevance of the legal regime as contrasted with the achievement of appropriate environmental objectives.

Ells tenien un document amb format excel on ells tenien totes les dades emmagatzemades i l'usuari a través d'una sèrie de columnes podia realitzar el càlcul de la petjada del seu menú. El quatrimestre passat, en Robert (estudiant de la UAB) va realitzar l'aplicació mòbil per a dispositus Android, per tant, els hi faltava una pàgina web on es realitzessin els mateixos càlcus per poder implementar a la seva pròpia pàgina web. La fundación FAADA realizó anteriormente un proyecto donde se calculaba la huella ecológica de una serie de alimentos. Tenían un documento en formato Excel donde almacenaban todos los datos, y a través de una serie de columnas, el usuario podía realizar el cálculo de la huella de su menú. El semestre pasado, Robert (estudiante de la UAB) desarrolló la aplicación móvil para dispositivos Android. Sin embargo, les faltaba una página web donde se realizaran los mismos cálculos para poder implementarla en su propio sitio web. The FAADA foundation previously carried out a project in which the ecological footprint of a series of foods was calculated. They had an Excel document where they stored all the data, and users could perform the calculation of their menu's footprint through a series of columns. Last semester, Robert (a student from UAB) developed the mobile application for Android devices. However, they were lacking a website where the same calculations could be performed to implement it on their own web page.

La finalitat d'aquest projecte és fer una anàlisi ambiental, social i econòmic integrant diferents eines i analitzant-les des d'una visió interdisciplinària per tal de poder tenir una visió global i detallada de l'estat actual del producte local a l'illa de Menorca. Per assolir aquests objectius s'ha organitzat una metodologia diversa i separada entre els diversos blocs dels treball (Ambiental, Econòmic, Ecoeficiència i Social). Per dur a terme l'anàlisi del bloc ambiental d'aquest treball i per tal d'avaluar l'impacte ambiental del transport associat als productes que són importats a l'illa, és necessari recopilar la informació sobre l'origen de producció dels productes seleccionats. De cara a realitzar l'anàlisi d'ecoeficiència dels productes, es tracten les dades econòmiques i ambientals recopilades a l'estudi. Del bloc econòmic s'utilitzen els diferents preus de cada producte en els diversos llocs d'estudi (supermercats i mercats locals) i del bloc ambiental s'utilitza el càlcul de la petjada de carboni per a cadascun d'aquests productes. Per a dur a terme l'anàlisi de la percepció social es realitzen enquestes als consumidors (mercats i supermercats) i entrevistes a diferents actors del cicle del producte local. Els resultats més importants assolits són: que els productes importats elaborats sempre són més econòmics que els locals, en contraposició en el cas dels productes frescos el 71% són més econòmics els locals. En l'àmbit ambiental, cal destacar que els productes importats tenen un increment del impacte ambiental en el transport entre el 13-592% sobre els locals. La informació que proporcionen els nivells de coneixements de les etiquetes agroalimentàries, en relació a l'ecoeficiència dels productes elaborats dona conclusions correlatives. L'etiqueta més coneguda per un 96% enquestats, és la del formatge DO Maó-Menorca; aquest producte és juntament amb la llet, el producte més ecoeficient dels elaborats. Pel que fa a les respostes obtingudes amb les entrevistes cal destacar que, la definició més completa de producte local és proporcionada pels productors i l'OBSAM, en canvi, l'administració és l'actor que defineix producte local de manera menys precisa. Per tant, al ser tots aquests actors claus en el cicle del producte local, es pot afirmar que és completament necessària una definició única i compartida del que és producte local per tal de poder dur a terme una bona promoció del producte local de l'illa. Per acabar, la majoria d'entrevistats consideren que els actors més importants són els productors i l'administració, i els consumidors enquestats consideren que la barrera principal per no comprar producte local és el preu. Per últim, es proposen un seguit de línies estratègiques, programes i accions per tal d'augmentar l'oferta i la demanda de producte local agroalimentari, enfortint el sector agroalimentari menorquí i progressant cap a una major sobirania alimentària. To preserve the biosphere reserve of Menorca is necessary to promote the consumption of local produce, good agricultural practices and the preservation of the traditions of the island. The purpose of this project is to make an environmental, social and economic project integrating different tools and analysing them from an interdisciplinary approach in order to have a detailed overview of the current state of the local product on the island Menorca. To achieve these goals has organized a diverse methodology and separated between different blocks of work (Environmental, Economic, Social and eco-efficiency). To perform the analysis of the environmental unit of this work and to evaluate the environmental impact of transport associated with the products that are imported to the island, it is necessary to gather information on the origin of production of the products selected. Facing the analysis of ecoefficiency of products, treated the economic and environmental data collected in the study. The economic bloc used different prices for each product in the different study sites (supermarkets and local markets) and environmental block is used to calculate the carbon footprint for each of these products. Finally, to carry out the social block, are made surveys to the consumers (market and supermarkets) and interviews for different key participants of the cycle of local products of the island. The most important results are achieved; that imported products are always made cheaper than local, as opposed to the case of fresh products are 71% cheaper premises. In the environmental field, note that imported products have increased the environmental impact in transportation between 13 to 592% of the premises. Alguns estudis analitzats indican que els Pirineus patiran un augment de la temperatura que influirà decisivament en la viabilitat de les estacions d'esquí, en pujar la cota de neu i disminuir la duració de la temporada. En el context de la resposta al canvi climàtic les estacions d'esquí i el sector turístic de neu poden considerar diferents mesures d'adaptació, atenent al seu grau de vulnerabilitat i les seves característiques geogràfiques pròpies. Amb sistemes de neu artificial hom preveu que bona part de les estacions podrien respondre fins el 2050, però només les estacions més altes seran viables a partir d'aquesta dècada i fins a final de segle, si be existiran grans diferencies depenent de la ubicació geogràfica. La variabilitat climàtica modificarà les destinacions triades pels turistes, amb conseqüències tant positives com negatives en la dinàmica dels fluxos turístics als Pirineus. Aquestes modificacions podrien ser una oportunitat per orientar els futurs canvis del model productiu de neu actual cap a un model productiu més estable i sostenible, amb un impacte ambiental menys intens però amb un caràcter molt més extensiu. La incertesa que genera l'impacte del canvi climàtic en les regions de muntanya podria donar pas a noves estratègies i oportunitats. El sector turístico de nieve de los Pirineos se caracteriza por ser uno de los motores económicos de este territorio. Algunos estudios analizados indican que los Pirineos sufrirán un aumento de la temperatura que influirá decisivamente en la viabilidad de las estaciones de esquí, al elevarse la cota de nieve y disminuir la duración de la temporada. En el contexto de la respuesta al cambio climático las estaciones de esquí y el sector turístico de nieve pueden considerar diferentes medidas de adaptación, atendiendo a su grado de vulnerabilidad y a sus características geográficas propias. Con sistemas de nieve artificial la mayor parte de las estaciones podrían responder hasta 2050, pero sólo las estaciones más altas serán viables a partir de esta década y hasta final de siglo, si bien existirán grandes diferencias dependiendo de la ubicación geográfica. La variabilidad climática modificará los destinos elegidos por los turistas, con consecuencias tanto positivas como negativas en la dinámica de los flujos turísticos en los Pirineos. Estas modificaciones podrían ser una oportunidad para orientar los futuros cambios del modelo productivo de nieve actual hacia un modelo productivo más estable y sostenible, con un impacto ambiental menos intenso pero con un carácter mucho más extensivo. La incertidumbre que genera el impacto del cambio climático en las regiones de montaña podría dar paso a nuevas estrategias y oportunidades. The snow tourism sector in the Pyrenees is characterized by being one of the economic engines of this territory. Some studies analyzed indicate that the Pyrenees will suffer a rise in temperature increasing temperatures in the medium and long term will have a decisive influence on the viability of ski resorts, by raising the snow level and decreasing the duration of the season. In the context of the response to climate change, ski resorts and the snow tourism sector may consider different adaptation measures, depending on their degree of vulnerability and their own geographical characteristics. With artificial snow systems, most resorts will be able to respond, but only the highest resorts will be viable from this decade until the end of the century, although there will be large differences depending on geographic location. Climate variability will change the destinations chosen by tourists, causing both positive and negative repercussions on the dynamics of tourist flows in the Pyrenees. These modifications could be an opportunity to guide future changes in the current snow production model towards a more stable and sustainable production model with a less intense environmental impact but with a much more extensive character. The uncertainty change on mountain regions could lead to new strategies and opportunities.

Davant d'aquest panorama apareixen alternatives al model predominant d'habitatge especulatiu, com és l'habitatge cooperatiu en cessió d'ús. És per aquesta raó que ens interessa abordar la sostenibilitat i característiques d'aquest model alternatiu. El supòsit de partida és pensar que els models d'habitatge alternatius (cooperatius) poden suposar una millora de les condicions de la sostenibilitat econòmica, social i ambiental, però que hi pot haver diferències i obstacles en funció dels diferents tipus d'habitatges cooperatius. La vivienda es un problema al orden del día, este siglo se han vivido dos grandes crisis como son la burbuja inmobiliaria del 2007 y la crisis de los alquileres actuales. Ante este panorama aparecen alternativas al modelo predominante de vivienda especulativa, como es la vivienda cooperativa en cesión de uso. Es por esta razón que nos interesa abordar la sostenibilidad y características de este modelo alternativo. El punto de partida es pensar que los modelos de vivienda alternativos (cooperativos) pueden suponer una mejora de las condiciones de la sostenibilidad económica, social y ambiental, pero que puede haber diferencias y obstáculos en función de los diferentes tipos de viviendas cooperativas. Housing is an issue in day to day life, this century has seen two major crises: the real estate bubble of 2007 and the current rental crisis. Against this backdrop, alternatives have been created to the predominant model of speculative housing, such as cooperative housing in Right-of-use. It is for this reason that we are interested in addressing the sustainability and characteristics of this alternative model. The initial assumption is to think that alternative (cooperative) housing models can lead to an improvement of the conditions of economic, social and environmental sustainability, but that there may be differences and obstacles depending on the different types of cooperative housing.

Departament d'Economia Aplicada;This paper uses the possibilities provided by the regression-based inequality decomposition (Fields, 2003) to explore the contribution of different explanatory factors to international inequality in CO2 emissions per capita. In contrast to previous emissions inequality decompositions, which were based on identity relationships (Duro and Padilla, 2006), this methodology does not impose any a priori specific relationship. Thus, it allows an assessment of the contribution to inequality of different relevant variables. In short, the paper appraises the relative contributions of affluence, sectoral composition, demographic factors and climate. The analysis is applied to selected years of the period 1993-2007. The results show the important (though decreasing) share of the contribution of demographic factors, as well as a significant contribution of affluence and sectoral composition.
