GreenPala is an environmental association of young people who fight for the well-being of nature and Palafolls, their hometown. Research of the organization has defined the main objective of the project: to encourage the participation of young people in Palafolls in the activities promoted by GreenPala. To address the problem, an investigation of the target and a strategy phase have been carried out. Thanks to these phases, the most appropriate way to connect GreenPala and sustainability with young people has been found: interactivity. The result of this process is Dos mil trenta, an interactive music day organized by GreenPala, in which the contestants are local artists and music groups, with music projects committed to the environment or the town. The Dos mil trenta communication plan has also been developed in order to present the concert, make the target aware of it, and get their participation both in the creation of the day and during the event. In the coming decades, changes in climatic conditions will affect the olive harvest, which is essential for the rural economy and social cohesion. This paper examines firstly the physical risks that climate change imposes on olive oil production, and secondly, the consequent socio-economic implications. Given that both climatic conditions and social structures are by nature specific to each place and each community, the particular case of a cooperative in Cabacés in the Catalan region Priorat is studied. An econometric analysis of the sensitivity of production to past weather changes, combined with data from climate projections for the future, leads to the conclusion that the greatest risk for the cooperative lies in the increase of severe droughts. These imply the unavailability of irrigation water and cause water stress for the olive trees. Accordingly, the main challenge for the company is to ensure water availability and, within its possibilities, to diversify their economic activities. In terms of socio-economic implications, a qualitative approach shows that income dependence on olive oil production is fairly high, therefore, potential negative shocks in production could contribute to the challenge of generational replacement and rural depopulation. In Catalan, there is a denominative vacuum in the terminology of housing. This has been accentuated by the two great challenges of today's world: the irruption of technologies and the need to seek more sustainable ways of living. The lack of linguistic standardisation and the variation and proliferation of terms for the same concept may cause confusion among real estate professionals and they often resort to borrowing words from English. To ensure the availability of Catalan terminology for housing, the use of terms in this field has been observed in specialised documents and in the media, in matters of sustainability and digitalisation, and a glossary has been elaborated. The terms of linguistic interest were then selected and analysed in order to establish a denomination. And, when necessary, plausible and functional neological proposals have been established. With the research data, we found that the terminology of sustainability is more fixed and has a tendency to be incorporated into Catalan using its own resources for creating neologisms, while real estate technologies are generally based on borrowing mechanisms. When establishing the neological proposals, these trends have been followed.

Tutora: Elisabet Llopart-Saumell
