Development of technologies and processes in environmental management characterized with the principles and items which are specified on the global environmental impact. The very concept of environmental management includes many management problems related to the environmental process as an object of management. Along with governance systems (laws, legislation, rules/regulations, codes and standards etc.), education (awareness raising, capacity building, training, professional development etc.), technology (technologies, and the skills, knowledge and innovation needed to manage those technologies)forms the third and a critical pillar in a policy mix that is needed to tackle environmental problems and aim for sustainability in the long run. Developing technologies that can help solve environmental problems requires a broad range of actions that are to be taken by different “external” stakeholders, besides those that actually develop and operationalize the technologies’ private sector companies, universities and research institutions et. al High levels of pollution and gradual reduction of natural resources, inefficient system of economic incentives for environmental activities - in many cases it will be easier for companies to pay fines than to solve environmental problems.

The authors propose to use only clear scientific forecasts, practical ecological scenarios, as well as the methodology of the National Action Plan for Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development. This will allow to solve the issues of desertification, salinization, water scarcity, decline in irrigation, agriculture, and the fishing industry in the future. The purpose of the article is to reveal the reasons for the insufficiency and unevenness in the provision of water resources in the republic. In the study the principle of historicism and systems analysis is used. The results of the research confirm and indicate that the growth of the economic potential in industry and the transition to market mechanisms for the development of the economy gave rise to a reduction in reserves of clean water, shallowing of mountain and transboundary rivers, the decrease in fish populations, and the emergence of a real threat of a water ecological crisis in the republic. The obtained theoretical results of the study can be applied when discussing and significantly improving the environmental issues of water resources in the country.

According to RBC media holding, which, in turn, refers to the independent consulting Agency TMT Consulting, in 2018, the market volume increased by 3.4% , 0.6 percentage points more than in 2017. The main driver of growth was the mobile business, whose revenue grew by 5% . Among the most likely reasons for such results, it is possible to identify the cancellation of most tariffs that provided unlimited Internet access to subscribers, and the termination of price competition. The rejection of tariff plans with unlimited Internet access allows the operator to increase the ARPU, which also reached a record high in 2018. The purpose of the article is to refute or prove the possibility of using price dumping mechanisms in the oligopolistic telecommunications market in Russia.

Among the significant trends in the development of the banking sector for 2020, experts highlighted a significant reduction in the number of banks, an increase in the concentration of assets in the sector, the acquisition of IT companies by large banks and a reduction in the time spent on developing and launching new products, the development of biometrics and gamification of loyalty programs, strengthening of positions the largest credit institutions and an increase in the share of banks with government support. Let us emphasize that modern banks are entering the field of competition with large technological and financial-technological corporations. They are forced to increase the availability, mobility, convenience and speed of service provision, to optimize costs by transforming the branch network, developing remote channels and analytics in terms of consumer preferences, which allows them to offer customers the most customized set of services. The subject of the research is the economic relations arising in the process of organizing banking operations in the context of interbank competition.

The paper provides the classification and schematic presentation of AC wind turbines, analyzes the role, place and performance of wind power plants in Smart Grid systems with a large share of renewable energy sources. The authors also reviews a detailed analysis of existing AC wind turbines in this paper. Recommendations are given for how to enhance the wind power plants in smart grids in terms of reliability, and introduce the hardware used in the generation, conversion and interface systems into the existing power grid. After the wind power plants had been put online, the relevance of the Smart Grid concept for existing power grids was obvious. The execution of such projects is assumed to be financially costly, requires careful study, and development of flexible algorithms, but in some cases this may be the only approach. The analysis of using wind turbines shows that the structural configuration of wind power plants can be based on the principles known in the power engineering. The approaches may differ, not fundamentally, but in engineering considerations. it is necessary to point out that the method of controlling dual-power machines is quite comprehensive so that their wide use will face operational problems caused by the lack of highly professional specialists in electric drives. Therefore, it seems advisable to use square-cage asynchronous generators in wide applications. The paper shows that as the renewable energy sources are largely used in power grids, there is an issue of maintaining the power generation at a required level considering the variability of incoming wind energy. This results in the malfunctions in the operation of relay protection devices and emergency control automatics (RP and ECA), and the complicated control. Also, the standards of the CIS countries and regulatory documents miss the requirements for the wind turbine protections, taking into account their specialty causing the inefficient standard protective logic, which does not work correctly in a number of abnormal and emergency operating modes, and especially Smart Grid in power grids.

In the conditions of transition of national economy to the innovative type of development, the indicators that allow estimating the efficiency of innovative activity, where the key aspect is the comprehensive assessment, are important. Innovative projects are especially relevant for the construction industry, which is the key driver of the national economy development. Sustainable construction ensures the development of industries, where innovative projects can partly solve the problems of creating renewable energy sources. The authors offer to expand the list of indicators for the assessment of the innovative project efficiency not only from the financial and investment point of view, but also taking into account quantitative and quality, scientific, technological, operational, marketing indicators, which often are not considered. The assessment of the innovative projects efficiency has to be the central link in the innovation management; so the authors offer to improve the system of the balanced indicators. The balanced system of indicators (BSI) is developed. It is planned to extend and to introduce BSI not only at the level of the enterprises, but also for all the types of economic activity according to their technological effectiveness.

Stimulating green growth and increasing the well-being of society through the rational use of natural resources, natural capital and ecosystems require the elaboration and development of alternative measures for ensuring the rational use of natural resources, the development of environmental innovations and human capital. An equally important factor contributing to green growth is the formation of a state policy of green economic growth, as well as tools and mechanisms for its implementation. The conceptual foundations of a supranational green growth policy have already been developed and the methodological basis has been elaborated. The study of the experience and best practices of green growth in different countries allows us to identify certain shortcomings that require a deeper study and revision of state regulation documents. In addition, the post-Covid economy requires a separate consideration from the point of view of both the relevance of the policy of green growth and the measures and tools for its implementation. Thus, the study of modern trends and principles of the implementation of the state policy of green growth is a topical area of research that requires critical rethinking for the introduction of more constructive measures for reaching the set goals and objectives.
