The key catabolic enzymes of D-xylose, an important structural component of different agricultural wastes, were studied in cells of mutant strains of the xylose-assimilating yeast Pachysolen tannophilus. The evaluation of catalytic activity and cofactor specificity of xylose reductase (ЕС 1.1.1.307) and xylitol dehydrogenase (ЕС 1.1.1.9) confirmed the dependence of intracellular catabolic pathway for D-xy lose on the NAD×H/NADP×H ratio, formed under microaerobic conditions. The study of total activity of some NAD+ /NAP×H-dependent dehydrogenases revealed the metabolic characteristics of the yeast cells, which could ensure selective ethanol or xylitol production. Thus, the efficient involvement of D-xylose into the Embden–Meyerhof–Parnas pathway provided not only the high activities of xylose reductase and xylitol dehydrogenase, but also of 1-glycerophosphate dehydrogenase (EC 1.1.1.8) and lactate dehydrogenase (ЕС 1.1.1.27), respectively. The inhibition of activity of these enzymes led to selective production of xylitol from D-xylose. On the base of the experimental results, the principles of metabolic engineering of xylose-assimilating yeasts were formulated. The possibility of bioethanol and xylitol production from different agricultural wastes using xyloseassimilating yeasts are discussed.

Expansion and diversification of field MH (mental health) programs transformed the landscape of relief work and underlined the need in conceptual framework and evidenced-based practices. Recognition of accomplishments offset by controversies surrounding understanding MH needs in complex emergencies. Incorporation of recovery-oriented paradigms shifts emphasis to community recovery, where the success of individual psychological recovery largely determined by quality of community supports providing secure sense of self, supportive relationships, empowerment, social inclusion, and meaning (SAMSHA, 2004). Proposed model of Community-Based Psychological Recovery in Complex Emergencies aims to facilitate the sustainable community-level impact by strengthening community supports and recovery resources and by sensitizing community to the needs of vulnerable groups. (CBPR — the community-based psychological recovery approach),

Today, prevention of environmental pollution and conservation of environment have a dimension exceeding national borders. The risks that result from us-ing of fossil fuels increasingly (petroleum, coal, and gas) must be decreased. To decrease such risks, besides to increasing of energy productivity, energy resources that emit less greenhouse gases in the atmosphere (like Carbon-dioxide (CO2)) must be preferred. To examine the impact of energy on the Japan’s environment, a linear function was used to develop a model us-ing carbon dioxide (CO2) emission and total energy consumption of Japan. CO2 is the dependent variable and energy consumption as the independent variable. A regression analysis was run on the model to know the relationship between these variables. The empirical results showed a positive relationship between CO2 and energy consumption. The result also showed Japan is highly reliable on non-renewable energy resources such as fossil fuels for its energy needs and these non-renewable energy resources have greater impact on the environment.

M.;Energy is the vital key factor which indicates the development of any country. If we focus on the world, we can see that those countries are developed in this world who could utilize their sources of energy in proper way. Bangladesh is a developing country. Last 2 decades the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of this country is growing rapidly and if we see the secret behind it, we can find that the new master plan and infrastructural developments of the energy sectors are responsible. These fueled the sustainable development of Bangladesh [1]. At this moment, more than 90 % people of Bangladesh are using electricity. According to the new master plan, government committed to provide the electricity for its all citizens in affordable price within 2021. New master plan tries to remove the obstacles for privates and foreign companies with giving some extra facilities. At the same time government also establish several power plants, which will stop these private and foreign companies to manipulate this sector. In this paper will try to focus on the electrical energy sectors of Bangladesh, the forecast the growth and future demand of these sectors, advantages, limitation and opportunities for the local and foreign investors. So, as a beginner anyone can get a clear idea about the electrical sectors of Bangladesh. At the end of this paper will also provide a conclusion with some recommendations for future works. This means that the scientific and technological revolution and the transfer of the carbon economy to the rails of deeper processing of alternative sources of raw materials and their environmental attractiveness for the carbon-free economy of the future leads to the aging of new reserves of society as all-sufficient and self- sufficient - from energy to consumption and processing products. In our opinion, one of the high-tech groundworks for the energy sector of the future could be an appropriate combination of superposition of traditional and new options for energy production, in particular, the production of biogas, as the main element of bioenergy, capable of ecologically and safely reducing the economy to the needs of particular person.
