    Diversos autores han establecido la gran importancia que tiene para las empresas el contar con información precisa relativa al costo de cada producto, siendo esto particularmente cierto en el ambiente de la intensa competencia global actual. A pesar de ello, se ha demostrado que los sistemas tradicionales no satisfacen las presentes demandas empresariales por lo que en los últimos años se han propuesto nuevos métodos de costeo los cuales, sin embargo, aún resultan imprecisos. Es por esta situación manifiesta que en este trabajo se presenta una nueva metodología para la determinación del costo de almacenaje de un producto, extrapolable a todos los eslabones de la Cadena de Suministro. A su vez, se propone un nuevo inductor de costo, el índice logístico, el cual contribuye a brindar información más precisa que los métodos tradicionales. Se concluye mostrando un caso de negocio donde se aplica este modelo en una empresa logística española.

    En este artículo, se discute el estado del arte en la estimación de la predicción varios pasos adelante para modelos de series temporales no lineales basados en perceptrones multicapa. Se revisan las principales tendencias para la estimación de pronósticos puntuales e intervalos de confianza. En adición, se argumenta sobre los principales problemas abiertos para investigación futura en la predicción de series temporales usando redes neuronales.

    La variabilidad anatómica presente en los cerebros de pacientes limita la realización de análisis estadísticos acerca de la presencia o ausencia de una patología. En este artículo, presentamos una aproximación para la clasificación de imágenes de Resonancia Magnética (MR) cerebral de sujetos sanos y afectados por una patología. El enfoque se basa en un mapa de saliencia, el cual extrae regiones de cambio relativo en tres diferentes dimensiones: intensidad, orientación y bordes. Las regiones de interés obtenidas se utilizan como patrones para la clasificación de sujetos utilizando máquinas de vectores de soporte. El desempeño de la estrategia propuesta fue evaluado en un conjunto de 198 imágenes de MR extraídas de la base de datos OASIS y divididas en cuatro grupos, reportando una tasa de precisión promedio de y una tasa de error igual (Equal Error Rate) promedio de .

    Se obtuvieron correlaciones matemáticas de rendimiento de producción, remoción de cenizas y partición de agua para describir el comportamiento de un hidrociclon "solo agua" (usa solamente agua como medio denso) desde el punto de vista hidráulico y geométrico. Se utilizó un hidrociclón de 254mm de diámetro y un carbón de la mina la Yolanda (Valle del Cauca). La concentración másica de carbón usada fue entre 3.0 y 10.0% (p/p), la longitud del "vortex finder" entre 152.4 y 228.6mm y el diámetro del "apex" entre 19.1 y 44.5mm. A partir de las diferentes pruebas se obtuvieron rendimientos de producción entre 11.9 y 83.2% (p/p) y remociones de cenizas entre 41.8 y 95.2% (p/p). Las ecuaciones matemáticas obtenidas presentaron factores de correlación superiores al 98.7% lo cual predice buena confiabilidad entre los resultados experimentales y los teóricos.

    El diagrama de casos de uso describe las interacciones entre un usuario y una pieza de software. Se han realizado algunos trabajos que buscan la generación automática o semiautomática del diagrama de casos de uso desde descripciones en lenguajes naturales o controlados. Sin embargo, estos esfuerzos no han sido suficientes porque algunos parten de un lenguaje controlado orientado a la solución, la cual no existe en las etapas iniciales del ciclo de vida del software; otros trabajos requieren una alta intervención del analista para la generación del diagrama, lo cual es altamente inconveniente si se trata de automatizar el proceso; finalmente, no se identifican todos los elementos del diagrama de casos de uso, en particular las relaciones especiales (>, > e >). En este artículo se define un método basado en reglas heurísticas que permite identificar los actores, los casos de uso y las relaciones especiales del diagrama de casos de uso, tomando como punto de partida una representación en lenguaje controlado del dominio del problema: los denominados esquemas preconceptuales. Además, se realiza la implementación de estas heurísticas en la herramienta metaCASE AToM3 y se ejemplifica con un caso de estudio

    Los NIMBY (Not In My BackYard) son localizaciones que por ser socialmente necesarios por una parte, pero indeseables por las localidades que los hospedan por otra, tienden a ser rechazados, los costos verdaderos son escondidos por las comunidades y finalmente, son asignados en base de presiones corporativas, sin criterios técnicos y con sesgos en contra de las localidades más pobres. En este trabajo proponemos un mecanismo de localización de NIMBY descentralizado, y que cumple con los objetivos de: asignar a las comunidades de menor costo (eficiente), ser equitativo (compensa a la comunidad afectada), presupuesto balanceado, y cumple con las condiciones de racionalidad individual.

    Las frutas fortificadas por la técnica de impregnación al vacío (IV) representan una expectativa mundial en el desarrollo de productos mínimanente procesados con características funcionales. El presente estudio evalúa el tiempo de vida útil de fresa Fragaria ananassa Duch. fortificada con vitamina E, en función del color, textura y estabilidad de la vitamina E a diferentes condiciones de almacenamiento. El dl-;-tocoferol acetato fue cuantificado por HPLC en extractos hexánicos y sus niveles son registrados en función de mg dl-;-tocoferol acetato /100 g fresa fresca y del % de recomendación diaria de consumo (RDC). Se evaluó el color en las coordenadas CIEL* a*b* y la firmeza por ensayos de punción. El proceso de IV influyó en la respuesta del color (muestras más oscuras), mientras que no hubo influencia en el tiempo ni en el tipo de envasado (con y sin vacío). La textura está afectada por la IV (menos duras), mientras que las variaciones con respecto al tiempo de almacenamiento y el tipo de envasado se consideraron más por variaciones propias del fruto fresco. Los niveles de fortificación fueron 19.1 ± 3.0 mg dl-;-tocoferol acetato = 86.9 ± 13,7 %RDC en Colombia, con un tiempo de vida útil de 9 días.

    Los teléfonos inteligentes cuentan actualmente con una gran cantidad de sensores y mayor capacidad de procesamiento, lo cual permite una mayor integración en una arquitectura móvil apoyada por un Sistema Basado en Localización externo. En el siguiente artículo se contextualizará la arquitectura en un inventario de fauna y fl ora con un fuerte componente móvil en la recolección de información en terreno. Se integrarán tecnologías adicionales como GPS, códigos QR y despliegue de mapas a través del LBS.

    La corteza terrestre no es una masa uniforme y homogénea. Es una sucesión de rocas que poseen distinto origen y naturaleza, de allí que se distingan en cuanto a sus propiedades mecánicoestructurales y que se comporten de una manera particular cuando viaja a través de ellas una onda sísmica. Se plantea un análisis geofísico del sismo del 25 de enero de 1999, en el Eje Cafetero Colombiano, que incluye la cuantificación de velocidades de propagación de la onda P en corteza no homogénea y las comparaciones con los resultados obtenidos en corteza homogénea.

    La aplicación de la descarga luminiscente anormal al proceso de sinterización es una técnica reciente que representa disminución en el tiempo requerido para el proceso de sinterización de muestras, tanto metálicas como cerámicas, y un menor consumo de energía, debido a que el calentamiento se realiza en forma directa por el bombardeo de los iones y átomos neutros sobre la superficie del cátodo donde generalmente se localiza la muestra. En este trabajo se estudia la aplicación de la descarga luminiscente anormal de baja presión como método alternativo para realizar la etapa de sinterización del material cerámico YBa2Cu3O7-, se comparan la estructura y la microestructura de muestras sinterizadas en la descarga luminiscente con las de muestras sinterizadas en horno resistivo, el cual es comúnmente utilizado para la producción de este tipo de materiales. Para ello se realiza el análisis estructural y morfológico por DRX y SEM, respectivamente, de las muestras obtenidas por los dos procedimientos. Los resultados experimentales permitieron establecer una estructura similar para ambos casos y una menor porosidad superficial en las muestras sinterizadas por plasma. Además, en el proceso de sinterización por plasma se observa una ligera contaminación de la superficie de las muestras debida a la pulverización catódica, la cual es fácilmente eliminada por métodos mecánicos.

    Diversos autores han establecido la gran importancia que tiene para las empresas el contar con información precisa relativa al costo de cada producto, siendo esto particularmente cierto en el ambiente de la intensa competencia global actual. A pesar de ello, se ha demostrado que los sistemas tradicionales no satisfacen las presentes demandas empresariales por lo que en los últimos años se han propuesto nuevos métodos de costeo los cuales, sin embargo, aún resultan imprecisos. Es por esta situación manifiesta que en este trabajo se presenta una nueva metodología para la determinación del costo de almacenaje de un producto, extrapolable a todos los eslabones de la Cadena de Suministro. A su vez, se propone un nuevo inductor de costo, el índice logístico, el cual contribuye a brindar información más precisa que los métodos tradicionales. Se concluye mostrando un caso de negocio donde se aplica este modelo en una empresa logística española.

    La variabilidad anatómica presente en los cerebros de pacientes limita la realización de análisis estadísticos acerca de la presencia o ausencia de una patología. En este artículo, presentamos una aproximación para la clasificación de imágenes de Resonancia Magnética (MR) cerebral de sujetos sanos y afectados por una patología. El enfoque se basa en un mapa de saliencia, el cual extrae regiones de cambio relativo en tres diferentes dimensiones: intensidad, orientación y bordes. Las regiones de interés obtenidas se utilizan como patrones para la clasificación de sujetos utilizando máquinas de vectores de soporte. El desempeño de la estrategia propuesta fue evaluado en un conjunto de 198 imágenes de MR extraídas de la base de datos OASIS y divididas en cuatro grupos, reportando una tasa de precisión promedio de y una tasa de error igual (Equal Error Rate) promedio de .

    Se obtuvieron correlaciones matemáticas de rendimiento de producción, remoción de cenizas y partición de agua para describir el comportamiento de un hidrociclon "solo agua" (usa solamente agua como medio denso) desde el punto de vista hidráulico y geométrico. Se utilizó un hidrociclón de 254mm de diámetro y un carbón de la mina la Yolanda (Valle del Cauca). La concentración másica de carbón usada fue entre 3.0 y 10.0% (p/p), la longitud del "vortex finder" entre 152.4 y 228.6mm y el diámetro del "apex" entre 19.1 y 44.5mm. A partir de las diferentes pruebas se obtuvieron rendimientos de producción entre 11.9 y 83.2% (p/p) y remociones de cenizas entre 41.8 y 95.2% (p/p). Las ecuaciones matemáticas obtenidas presentaron factores de correlación superiores al 98.7% lo cual predice buena confiabilidad entre los resultados experimentales y los teóricos.

Sin embargo, estos esfuerzos no han sido suficientes porque algunos parten de un lenguaje controlado orientado a la solución, la cual no existe en las etapas iniciales del ciclo de vida del software; otros trabajos requieren una alta intervención del analista para la generación del diagrama, lo cual es altamente inconveniente si se trata de automatizar el proceso; finalmente, no se identifican todos los elementos del diagrama de casos de uso, en particular las relaciones especiales (>, > e >). En este artículo se define un método basado en reglas heurísticas que permite identificar los actores, los casos de uso y las relaciones especiales del diagrama de casos de uso, tomando como punto de partida una representación en lenguaje controlado del dominio del problema: los denominados esquemas preconceptuales. Además, se realiza la implementación de estas heurísticas en la herramienta metaCASE AToM3 y se ejemplifica con un caso de estudio

    Los NIMBY (Not In My BackYard) son localizaciones que por ser socialmente necesarios por una parte, pero indeseables por las localidades que los hospedan por otra, tienden a ser rechazados, los costos verdaderos son escondidos por las comunidades y finalmente, son asignados en base de presiones corporativas, sin criterios técnicos y con sesgos en contra de las localidades más pobres. En este trabajo proponemos un mecanismo de localización de NIMBY descentralizado, y que cumple con los objetivos de: asignar a las comunidades de menor costo (eficiente), ser equitativo (compensa a la comunidad afectada), presupuesto balanceado, y cumple con las condiciones de racionalidad individual.

    Las frutas fortificadas por la técnica de impregnación al vacío (IV) representan una expectativa mundial en el desarrollo de productos mínimanente procesados con características funcionales. El presente estudio evalúa el tiempo de vida útil de fresa Fragaria ananassa Duch. fortificada con vitamina E, en función del color, textura y estabilidad de la vitamina E a diferentes condiciones de almacenamiento. El dl-;-tocoferol acetato fue cuantificado por HPLC en extractos hexánicos y sus niveles son registrados en función de mg dl-;-tocoferol acetato /100 g fresa fresca y del % de recomendación diaria de consumo (RDC). Se evaluó el color en las coordenadas CIEL* a*b* y la firmeza por ensayos de punción. El proceso de IV influyó en la respuesta del color (muestras más oscuras), mientras que no hubo influencia en el tiempo ni en el tipo de envasado (con y sin vacío). La textura está afectada por la IV (menos duras), mientras que las variaciones con respecto al tiempo de almacenamiento y el tipo de envasado se consideraron más por variaciones propias del fruto fresco. Los niveles de fortificación fueron 19.1 ± 3.0 mg dl-;-tocoferol acetato = 86.9 ± 13,7 %RDC en Colombia, con un tiempo de vida útil de 9 días.

    Los teléfonos inteligentes cuentan actualmente con una gran cantidad de sensores y mayor capacidad de procesamiento, lo cual permite una mayor integración en una arquitectura móvil apoyada por un Sistema Basado en Localización externo. En el siguiente artículo se contextualizará la arquitectura en un inventario de fauna y fl ora con un fuerte componente móvil en la recolección de información en terreno. Se integrarán tecnologías adicionales como GPS, códigos QR y despliegue de mapas a través del LBS.

    La corteza terrestre no es una masa uniforme y homogénea. Es una sucesión de rocas que poseen distinto origen y naturaleza, de allí que se distingan en cuanto a sus propiedades mecánicoestructurales y que se comporten de una manera particular cuando viaja a través de ellas una onda sísmica. Se plantea un análisis geofísico del sismo del 25 de enero de 1999, en el Eje Cafetero Colombiano, que incluye la cuantificación de velocidades de propagación de la onda P en corteza no homogénea y las comparaciones con los resultados obtenidos en corteza homogénea.

    La aplicación de la descarga luminiscente anormal al proceso de sinterización es una técnica reciente que representa disminución en el tiempo requerido para el proceso de sinterización de muestras, tanto metálicas como cerámicas, y un menor consumo de energía, debido a que el calentamiento se realiza en forma directa por el bombardeo de los iones y átomos neutros sobre la superficie del cátodo donde generalmente se localiza la muestra. En este trabajo se estudia la aplicación de la descarga luminiscente anormal de baja presión como método alternativo para realizar la etapa de sinterización del material cerámico YBa2Cu3O7-, se comparan la estructura y la microestructura de muestras sinterizadas en la descarga luminiscente con las de muestras sinterizadas en horno resistivo, el cual es comúnmente utilizado para la producción de este tipo de materiales. Para ello se realiza el análisis estructural y morfológico por DRX y SEM, respectivamente, de las muestras obtenidas por los dos procedimientos. Los resultados experimentales permitieron establecer una estructura similar para ambos casos y una menor porosidad superficial en las muestras sinterizadas por plasma. Además, en el proceso de sinterización por plasma se observa una ligera contaminación de la superficie de las muestras debida a la pulverización catódica, la cual es fácilmente eliminada por métodos mecánicos.
