H2tALENT launches a flagship Hydrogen Valley in Alentejo-PT to consolidate the strong investment in place and boost the penetration of green hydrogen by deploying new initiatives across the entire value chain from local production to use including distribution for a range of applications in industry, mobility and buildings while also connecting with existing/planned infrastructures and initiatives. In the next 5 years are foreseen 2.1GW electrolysers, 180ktons/y of green H2, 2B€ investments and 5000 jobs in Alentejo. Safe design and operation is ensured to deliver certified green hydrogen. H2tALENT produces >1200 ton/y used by several off-takers in industry, mobility (public bus & truck) and building (municipal pool). The strategic position of the Sines Port is valorised as a key multi-modal hub for interconnection and import/export as well the industrial ecosystem surrounding it. Optimal energy system integration is ensured via technology assessment and impact modelling to contribute to the national energy transition strategy. H2tALENT generates investments around 20M€. Digital Twinning and tools for optimal planning and operation are delivered to support upscaling and replication, while professional upskilling and public perception equip the workforce with the needed competences and deliver social benefits. H2tALENT builds a global network where lessons learned from existing valleys are gathered, cooperation with Brazil fostered and replication promoted in 2 follower valleys in DE Saxony and UK Midlands. Roadmaps and concrete actions for upscaling and replication are defined for the Sines Port, Alentejo and Portugal. The consortium includes 29 partners from 6 countries covering the entire value chain including energy suppliers, DSO, technology manufacturer, system integrator, end users and RTO/university experts in digitalisation, public acceptance, environmental assessments and technology assessment with strong political support.

Deliver sAfe and Social Housing - Housing is an important point of reference for citizens; the home is more than a physical framework for daily life: It is the social focal point of life through its contextual location and the relations it possesses. Living in sub-standarHousing is an important point of reference for citizens; the home is more than a physical framework for daily life: It is the social focal point of life through its contextual location and the relations it possesses. A proper and well-functioning home at an affordable price is of major importance for the individual. Good and healthy housing in attractive environments gives the residents and especially the children optimal opportunities to achieve a high standard of living and opportunities in life. Living in sub-standard housing in difficult environments leads to inferior opportunities in life. Thus, housing policy has major impact on society and individuals. European societies are dynamic entities influenced by social, economic, demographic, and cultural influences. Recent decades have seen increasing social inequalities, more diverse demographic patterns, and changing preferences for big city life. Overall, the existing housing system and housing type are challenged; the need for large family homes is reduced when the proportion of families with children is significantly reduced. On the other hand, the need for smaller homes for singles and couples without children is increasing. In addition, there are growing regional differences in housing needs across Member States; while especially large cities are experiencing tremendous pressure on the housing market, the housing market in peripheral rural areas has stalled.

<< Objectives >>WOW investigates how print museums can assume the role of learning centres to engage with a wide audience in societal challenges and debates, through the training of specialised audiences (typographers and designers) and active engagement with a wider audience of adult learners. The project seeks to improve civic engagement and participation through the education of participants in communication design, critical thinking and media literacy, as well as explore the role of museums in this field.<< Implementation >>The project see the implementation of 3 international workshops and learning meetings across organisations from Italy, Portugal and Estonia. These will cover the topics of know-how (or intangible knowledge), transmedia and digital fabrication. These will provide active learning opportunities for designers, typographers and educators and contribute to the development of 3 corresponding learning tools. The workshops and tools will be tested through a series of multiplier events.<< Results >>WOW will provide the successful creation of 3 individual learning tools, which will allow learners and educators to directly access typography and print in adult education. It will provide a specialist audience with the tools to use their skills in typography and design for the engagement and empowerment of adult learners, with a focus on inclusive approaches in education. It will also use museums as sites for non-traditional learning to ensure that no learner is left behind.
