A beutazók létszáma ebben a tanévben 70 fő hallgató és 54 fő dolgozó (43 oktató, 11 fő alkalmazott) volt.Partnerlistánk az elmúlt tanévben is bővült, jelenleg 191 partnerrel van szerződésünk, de a mobilitások megvalósításában a tavalyi évben 87 felsőoktatási partnerrel történt együttműködés (31 intézménytől csak fogadtunk, 44 intézménybe csak küldtünk, 12 intézménnyel kölcsönösen küldtünk és fogadtunk hallgatót, dolgozót).Az Erasmus program Egyetemünk egyik legsikeresebb programja, a mobilitásban résztvevők száma évről évre emelkedik. A program sikeres lebonyolításához hozzátartozik az egyetem illetékes munkatársainak, menedzsmentjének elkötelezettsége is, akiknek köszönhetően:-felkészült kollégák várják őket mind az adminisztratív (Nemzetközi Iroda), mind a tanulmányi (Erasmus szakkoordinátorok) kérdésekben-minden bejövő hallgatónk számára kollégiumi férőhelyet biztosítunk-folyamatos hallgatói mentorhálózatot biztosítunk a külföldi hallgatóknak,-az ESN Győr egész tanév során különféle programokat szervez a külföldi hallgatóknak (orientációs nap, welcome party, városnézés, országvetélkedő, jótékonysági rendezvények, kirándulások, főzőverseny)A támogatásnak köszönhetően folyamatosan emelni tudjuk a külföldi hallgatók, oktatóknak nyújtott szolgáltatásainkat (kollégiumi szobafelújítás, honlapok frissítése, információs anyagok megjelentetése).

It is the absolute priority of our university to expand our relations outside Europe, to strengthen international cooperation with other HEIs and to join scholarship programmes funded by different bodies of the Hungarian state. We have partner HEIs in almost all Erasmus+ programme countries thus SZIU students and staff can gain and pass on the knowledge that meets the requirements of a globalised world.Szent István University’s vision is focused on becoming an internationalised university and knowledge centre specialised in life and related sciences, which contributes to the stable economic development of Hungary in the long run. Our mission is to cover all fields of agricultural education, maintain and develop doctoral schools and scientific workshops, become a leading university in agricultural research, integrate the demands and/or requirements of students, the government and the EU, maintain a centre for the cooperation between industry and higher education for small and medium-sized enterprises in the agricultural sector, increase the international visibility and attractiveness of the university in the international higher education market.SZIU has developed its internationalization strategy in line with the European objectives. The International Relations Office is responsible for the central coordination of the strategy and the mobility programmes. The first step towards implementing SZIU’s internationalization strategy was that the university participates in an international audit procedure. The first phase of the audit took place on 11-12 May 2015. The Audit Committee made an assessment report and some recommendations on SZIU’s internationalization activities, which serve as important guidelines for reconsidering and improving our internationalization strategy. One of the keystones of our internationalization strategy is based on the priorities and principles set out in Erasmus+ Programme. SZIU aims to contribute to higher employment rates, increased productivity, peaceful coexistence of cultures and strengthening social cohesion within the EU by taking advantage of the mobility opportunities provided in Erasmus+ Programme. SZIU’s long-term objective that is in accordance with the central government’s development plans is to evolve into a Central -Eastern European agricultural centre that has the highest academic and scientific reputation. Our university management is committed to realize the competitive university – successful student – marketable employee model, which is supported by the internationalization goals and priorities set out in the Erasmus+ Programme European Policy Statement. In the academic year of 2014/15 the total number of participants in the program was 319, instead of the projected 209 (later changed to 249). The number of outgoing student mobility for studies was 94 and for traineeship was 118. The number of outgoing staff mobility for teaching was 52. There were 55 outgoing staff mobilities for training, our staff mostly took part in Staff Training Weeks organized by our partner universities. Our results in the academic year of 2014/15 were higher in all types of mobility than in 2013/14. Compared to the projected number, outgoing student mobility for studies increased by 40%, which was a result of the extra application round and the extended project period. The number of incoming student mobility for studies stagnated, however, we counted only with the actual academic year and did not take the extended period into account. Due to the growing number of degree students, SZIU should increase the number of incoming students parallel with capacity-building.The data of outgoing staff mobility for teaching and training exceeded all our expectations, there were 107 participants instead of the projected 60, which means an almost 80% overachievement. Some of our scholars gave lectures within the framework of joint training programmes, which further strengthens SZIU’s strategic partnerships. For younger lecturers teaching abroad is a good opportunity to gain experience and test their own knowledge in a foreign environment and to build up new professional relationships. Outgoing staff for training could develop their professional skills, expanded their professional network and learned good practices, new methods. The program supports and enhances our internationalization goals thus SZIU can achieve a higher level of internationalization in the future, which will lead to an increase in the number of outgoing and incoming staff and student mobilities, higher standard services, higher reputation of SZIU courses and degrees, and a better position of our graduates in the labour market.
