The relevance of the project is due to those circumstances that there are threats and conflicts that remain a form of resolving interstate conflicts and realizing geopolitical interests. The use of modern weapons, violations of the norms of international humanitarian law, flows of refugees turn zones of military and political instability into a threat not only to the national security of individual states, but also to European security as a whole. The situation is complicated by the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and the activities of terrorist groups, which can have catastrophic consequences for humanity. The aggressive form of foreign policy of the Russian Federation is a confirmation of the above. Thus, the prevention of the above-mentioned conflict situations and threats have military, economic and social dimensions. In order to resolve crisis situations and military conflicts, it is expedient to form an effective system for expanding the possibilities of forecasting in the field of European security. The essence of this system is the development of innovative methods of forecasting through the development of conceptual and theoretical models in the humanitarian, economic and social spheres.
