The aim of the KA 103’s participation was increasing the mobility of students, lecturers and administration within Europe. For this purpose, the vast network of Erasmus partner universities was used, which the University of Hildesheim has established over recent years. The focus of KA 103 in 2015/16 was on student mobility. In the field of SMS 217 students studied at partner universities in other European countries. In the field of Teaching Mobility (STA) 13 lecturers taught abroad and in the field of Administrative Staff Mobility (STT) two administrative staffs used the Workshadowing. Erasmus+ placements were handled in a consortium headed by the Leibniz University Hannover, so that they do not appear in this report.More than 93 percent of the outgoing students and 100 percent of the abroad lectures are very satisfied with their stay abroad. This satisfaction and positive progress reports have helped to arouse the interest of other members of the University of Hildesheim and contributes to a further increase in the mobility numbers. The participation in KA 103 with the associated stays abroad of students, lectures and administrative staffs lead to a more cosmopolitan university, better prepared students for the labor market and a higher quality of teaching.

    Funder Contribution: 192,395 EUR

In the project KA 107 2016-2018, the University of Hildesheim has cooperated with five foreign universities in four countries: Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México (Mexico), Chungbuk National University and Pai Chai University (South Corea), Symbiosis International University (India) and Stellenbosch University (South Africa). There had been cooperation with all these universities before the KA 107 project, but the programme has helped to intensify the relations and to promote new projects. The aim of a widened and strengthened cooperation has been met by student and staff mobilities. We exchanged 9 students and 11 staff with India, 10 students and 6 staff with the Corean universities, 5 students and 5 staff with Mexico and one student and 7 staff with South Africa. The staff mobilities took place mainly as STA mobilities für teaching. The cooperation with all institutions has been very fruitful for all sides and will be continued after the project KA 107 2016-2018 has ended.
