With the reasonable number of students, ‘ cigarette addict ,is one of the most significant problem in our school, like in other high schools. Although some techniques to prevent it has been applied so far in both our country and our school, there has not been achieved success. That is why, smoking addiction is increasing rapidly and the age to start smoking is decreasing day by day. The researches show that the students using cigarette are less successful at school subjects. The students who are less successful academically tend to be absent from school, which will lead to quiting school. From this perspective, ensuring both the success and the health of students and preventing negative behaviours as a result of addiction is the main content and aim of our Project. Therefore, we observed and learned the methods and techniques for drug abuse education and the approaches to prevent especially smoking addiction used in European Union countries. Aims: The aim of our Project was to dissuade the students who were affected from passive smoking , potential smokers or smokers; to integrate them into the society as healthy individuals; to contibute to get rid of the indirect results of smoking addiction; to provide our adoloscent students who were in the turning point of personal developments to have a healthy period; and as a farthest target, to provide them to join the society and employment as healhty and young population. Participant Profile: Our institution had two diffferent mobilities. For each mobility, seven teachers attended. The teachers to attend the mobilities were volunteers and open to innovations. They had at least B1 level of English. Activities: In April and May 2018, our institution had education to prevent smoking addiction of students in two mobilities in Spain. Methodology: Our school applied a survey and made a preliminary study about the Project. This preliminary study was made on teachers firstly and then students after determining the needs of our instutions . Moreover, the activities to be done were grouped under three main topics: Before the Mobility Process, During the Mobility Process, and After the Mobility Process. For every mobility, necessary units were formed and the studies were planned. The things to do were planned and applied under such topics as Dealing with the Participants, Cultural Preparations, Project Preparations, Finance, Counselling, Mobility Planning, Evaluation and Observation. Result: The effective techniques applied in EU countries against the smoking addiction would be comprehended by firstly our staff and then by larger number of people. With these techniques, we achieved to dissuade most of our students from smoking habits and to decrease the potential of students in that issue. As a result; the number of students who were smoking addicts would decrease and the other students are prevented from smoking addiction. In the long run; the participant teachers transferred and spreaded the effective EU struggle methods against smoking addiction in firstly our institution and then in our town and city in various ways. Our Project has many different goals in the long run such as: the integration of the young population into society as healthy individuals, their preferability and approval to employment, the benefits of passive smokers, the decrease of the number of students who are potential smokers and will start smoking due to peer pressure. To sum up, the main aim of our Project, as its topic suggests, is to provide the young population to be healthy and independent individuals.

This document clearly define the duties and responsibilities of Primary and Secondary Schools in the field of teaching and learning and measures to be taken to improve the current situation under the topic of ""Recommendations for future actions and policy orientations"" . According to this study, schools are responsible for guiding and supporting young people in the acquisition of the tools necessary for community life and in the development of their behavior or in the development of strategies to achieve them. The organization of multicultural educational environments and programs, and the developing teachers’ qualifications have become one of the priority areas of education in Turkey for the following reasons: New international schools founded in line with our country’s ever-evolving educational policies and students from different nationalities studying in these schools and Turkey has become a country that creates a ""transition area"" for ""immigrants"" and on the other hand has a more permanent immigrant population. It is also well known that the success of any change in the training programs depends on the teacher competences. For this reason, teachers should have knowledge of multicultural education and know how to apply the principles of multicultural education in the classroom environment. Teachers with multicultural attitude have a significant impact on the organization of practices in accordance with this understanding. In multicultural education, the role of the teacher is very important in order to prepare the most efficient education and training environments. Our School Murad Hüdavendigar Anatolian Imam Hatip High School is a unique project school where 310 9th and 10th grade students from 55 different countries are educated. Our school opened on September 19, 2016, in Bursa, with an approximate population of 2,741,000 in the Marmara Region. This project is designed to develop teachers' skills in multicultural school environments. Participants are 18 teachers from different branches who work in our school. When the individual development of each staff participating in the project comes together, the project will provide a holistic development to the institution. With the trainings and job shadowing to be done within the scope of this Project, it is expected that the staff of our school will contribute both to their professional careers and the multicultural climate of our school with the following aims: - To provide teachers with the ability to prepare multicultural education programs. - To ensure that multiculturalism in classrooms is perceived as an opportunity. - To increase respect and tolerance by allowing students to explain their own values and attitudes. - To provide critical thinking environment. - Provide European cooperation in sharing the skills and abilities of teachers Our long-term goal is to educate our students as earthly individuals who are well-equipped, who internalise spiritual values, who can be modeled in the countries they are in and where they work and who can think scientifically. At the same time, our goal is to graduate students who are sensitive to the World , humanity and international relations, has shaped his personality with these values. In line with these goals, our project will contribute to the acquisition and development of the necessary skills in the multicultural educational environments of the teachers and administrators who will train these students and developing Intercultural Dialogue and the European dimension will be effective by cooperating with schools in Europe. Within the context of this project, our teachers will make job-shadowing in the concept of ""Multi-Cultural Classrooms"" in Spain . At the same time, they will observe the application of multicultural schools in Europe and share their experiences with their colleagues in Europe, by examining the field applications in the content of education. Also the training contribution of NGOs will be observed, thus contributing to the increase in the number of external stakeholders. Project activities are planned to support the “gaining related and high quality skills and competences” article in European 2020 Horizontal Priorities and “actions will be given priority which particularly promotes issues such as inclusion in education, training and youth activities through innovative, integrated approaches and diversity, equality and the fight against discrimination” article under “Social inclusion” title. The project will be implemented between 03/09/2018 - 02/09/2019."

Development and strengthening of competence in the area of planning and management of European educational projects,2. Develop language and communication skills of people working with FAS (including staff and volunteers);3. Development of intergenerational and intercultural dialogue,3. Development of interpersonal skills needed in teaching,4. The development of competence in adult education,5. Develop the process of validating the competences of adults, especially the mature volunteers. The main needs have been identified, such as the development of human resources competences in the teaching area (in terms of the content of educational activities and teaching methods and techniques), increased participation and international dimension of educational activities.6 learning mobility for staff with volunteers was organized, 6 training departure tailored to specific needs (eg strengthening language skills and interpersonal skills, motivation for adult learning, etc.).A total of 22 participants took part in the 30 mobility projects (7 of them were staffed by the first 3 staff members), while the other 3 volunteers took part in 14 volunteers, mainly 50+ who actively participate in various Social, cultural, organizational and self-help activities at the Foundation.Training took place in groups of 5 people. Each member of the team was a member of staff or a volunteer with advanced language skills to help the group. Thanks to the participation in mobility FAS Foundation, the project staff strengthened its management capacity, increased its competence in the area of planning and management of European educational projects. New foreign contacts were established with training participants, with visited organizations, thereby increasing the international dimension and potential of the organization.By participating in international training, the potential for communication with others in English (staff and volunteer-educators) has increased. Thanks to this, it was possible to exchange good practices, get to know them in local activities. Thanks to the specificity of these places where mobility took place, the participants opened up to the culture and religion, the customs, the traditions of these places and the people who were very hospitable and with great kindness introduced the participants into their world.Through the meeting of participants from other countries and organizations in the host countries, the participants learned about the traditions, culture of the place and region, as well as the history and the problems of the new history that they face today (for example the characteristics of the histories of Spain, In particular Asturias, the problems of cultural and political division of Cyprus, such as the problems of addiction and fighting in the Netherlands, the way volunteers work and encourage them to act, etc., to know the problems faced by women in these countries They work for eg migrants, or young people). As a result of the participation in courses / trainings, the beneficiaries of mobility in self-education groups were sharing new information and competences. Self-educated groups have emerged as a form of knowledge-sharing in the volunteer environment of adults who, through their meetings, shared news stories, provided presentations that shared their experiences and news in the local group of friends, but also participated In regional events (eg Dolnoslaskie Volunteer Forum 2015,2016 and the 1st Congress of Wroclaw Non-Governmental Organizations in Wroclaw and others). It was very important to have meetings with international organizations during the trainings that already participate in the network of organizations involved in volunteering and in the field of recognition of their competences, adult education (eg in the Netherlands), their good practices and the way in which they operate and manage their projects in Cyprus. And in Gijon (Spain).New techniques, teaching methods, but also the development of the personal potential of volunteers have brought great benefits to the participants of the training as well as the trainers and staff of the Foundation. Through all the activities undertaken, the project aimed to identify and ""discover"" by the participants themselves the change that has taken place in each of them, to show the change process that changes participants themselves, it also affects the world and the positive relationship with others and the perception of values, that they are common to everyone in Europe and their implementation."
