KG,Itaka training,Expat Intern SL,Omilos UNESCO Neon ThessalonikisFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2016-3-FR02-KA205-012167Funder Contribution: 238,255 EURIn relation to the Europe 2020 strategy, the project addresses the themes of social inclusion, employability, the active participation of young people in the civil society, training and youth work. In particular, in relation to the seven flagship initiatives for the European contribution to the Europe 2020 strategy that aims to stimulate progress in terms of growth and employment, our project is based on the second flagship initiative “youth on the move”. The target of our project is made up of young people who lack of basic competences due to social, economic and geographical barriers. Hence, the target may include young individuals involved in training or young Neets. Developing mobility paths abroad and improving basic and transversal competences is particularly difficult for this specific target. The project had multiple objectives. First of all the project tried to develop the 8 key competences in the emotional, cognitive and social field among young low-skilled Neets while ensuring an intellectual, inclusive and sustainable growth. Moreover, one of the main objectives was to promote the mobility of young people aboard in order to increase their employability, allow them to have the same possibilities as the other young people, reduce the social gap between the different groups, acquire the fundamental international and intercultural vision for the development of life skills and guarantee the validity and the quality of these people’s employability. The project involved 15 partners belonging to 6 different countries with expertise in the fields of education, social inclusion, youth employment and in the relations with local businesses and organizations. Under a quantitative point of view, more than the 882 originally planned participants were involved. The main activities that were implemented are: -the creation of a network: contact and research of training entities, companies at the national level and training agencies able to organize and support the various steps -the development of a platform in order to manage the network and create a link between young people, social entities and businesses. -the organization of 14 multiplier events in the 6 countries involved in order to present the 2 IOs.-in the framework of the second IO, 11 creative meetings took place with the participation of young people and training managers in order to understand how to organize the mobility for the project target; creation of the content of the guide-the organization of 5 days of training on the content of the guide dedicated to youth workers and to those responsible of the aspects related to the training. -the organization of the mobility of 16 young people in order to put the methodologies into practice. The initially planned results were achieved. Under a qualitative point of view, we have created a working group and we have established a dynamic of exchanges between social entities and economic organizations in order to organize and plan mobility projects dedicated to low-skilled young people, thanks to European and national funds. The young people who participated in the mobility developed their life skills and triggered a mechanism of innovation and qualification that is reflected in the territory of origin. Finally, there has been a professional development of those who work or are active in the fields of education, training and youth through the training period that took place on the basis of the guide established within the project. The feedback that we received through the analysis of the resource sheets provided by the guide was very positive. The impact generated was both short and long-term. In relation to the short-term impact, the most important effect was the one on young people and on youth workers who participated in the mobility and in the training. For the social entities, being able to get in touch with other European organizations and to get to know other businesses willing to welcome a young NEET was fundamental. As far as the long-term is concerned, the impact mainly concerned the creation of a mechanism of development and activities production that aims to promote social inclusion and the employability of low-skilled people. Another impact to be highlighted is the one on the project partners since it allowed us to acquire further competences, to develop new collaborations and design new project proposals in order to ensure a follow-up and sustain the ongoing actions. The project results reflect the EU strategy for youth by 2027 as well as its priorities. Thanks to the instruments designed within the project, we can promote a youth work that promotes quality, innovation and the recognition of youth work in order to support the young Neets in their journey towards inclusion.

This project enabled a better provision of training, deepening it in a work context, in a highly qualified European location for audiovisual production. The implementation of this project increased the power of attraction of vocational training of World Academy post secondary education, as a valid complement or alternative to higher education in audiovisuals. This first project was feasible and realistic, appropriate to the current size of the school, focusing on only one area (audiovisuals) and one host country. For this project, all selected students were resident in Portugal and recent graduates in the audiovisual area. Through their participation, they acquired new knowledge, deepening and diversifying knowledge already acquired, going beyond what our job market (or even our school) can provide. They got to know the culture and work habits in another country, more developed in audiovisual production than our own. This project efectively raised their level of employability and entrepreneurial spirit. The partners involved in the project were the National Agency for Erasmus+, the intermediary agency IES Consulting through Espamob ', and the hosting companies selected in Spain. The planning and implementation of practical and logistical issues were distributed between World Academy, the partner company in Spain and the host entities. The trainees had language preparation prior to their participation in the Spanish language, through the erasmus+ online platform. During and after the project conclusion, World Academy shared information regarding all learning and achievements, with participants, community and public. This was done through diverse media and online training and mobility platforms. The main result and direct impact was the fact that the trainees are currently integrated in the professional market, four of them at a national level, one of them in the Spanish market and another is doing advanced studies also in the Spanish market; these results arise as a consequence of the sum of the learning achieved in the training, as well as the technical and behavioral learnings acquired with this international project.

Juliana TuwimaFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2015-1-PL01-KA102-014998Funder Contribution: 173,574 EUR"The project: ""International internships of the Julian Tuwim Schools Centre in Bielsko-Biała students as a considerable opportunity for professional future in integrated Europe"" was prepared by Zespół Szkół im. J. Tuwima w Bielsku-Bialej, which educates students in the profession of hotelier and tourism technician. The participants of the project were the students of the second and third year ( all the students are over 18 years old) of the College who held their professional apprenticeship at our project partners:: the college in UK (Grantham), hotels in Spain (Barcelona), hotels in Italy (Rome) and the vocational school in Austria (Zwetll). The purpose of the project constituted practical trial of the professional knowledge that was gained during school studies, acquisition of new abilities in the scope of new techniques and work approaches for hotels and tourism centres.Sustainable development of our region requires better and more developed work methods, particularly for the sectors of specific developing character as, for instance, creation of modern hotel and tourism base. It also makes considerable possibilities to perfect knowledge of the branch foreign language (English, German, Italian or Spanish), application of modern reservation systems, new approaches to proposals of a guest's free time organization, use of given facilities, quality certification processes investigation in the hotel industry (ISO and HACCP)and to find out many different aspects of hotel activities in European Union.Project was launched in 2015-2017. The Partners committed themselves to host and take care of some multi-personal groups of beneficiaries in subsequent months of the project implementation, since September 2015 till June 2017. We sent 53 participans for five weeks lasting internships, 2x8 persons to the partner in UK (Grantham), and 2 x 6 persons to Austria (Zwettl), 9 persons to Italy (Rome) and 2 x 8 persons to Spain. This partnership is multi-institutional, because all the institutions that took part in the project are strictly co-operating with the hotels of the highest standards or possess such hotels, where the practical trainings and internships are organized for both kinds of students: local ones and beneficiaries of the previous and current project. The main part of the internship followed cultural, behavioral and professional linguistic training. Beneficiaries attended the training under our school guardian - who were teachers of our school. 7 guardians are included in this project: 2 for UK, 2 in Spain, 1 for Italy and 2 for Austria, one guardian takes care of one visiting group. Due to specific working conditions in the hotel and tourism industry and restrictions referring to the quantity of the beneficiaries holding simultaneously internship in the hotel, the groups leaving for particular partners included 6 to 9 persons each.Permanent development of hotel and tourism services is connected with the requirement to shape practical abilities on the highest level. The states where our partners are headquartered the mentioned services are considerably developed. It meant that the beneficiaries gained opportunity to improve and upgrade their skills in the framework of the abilities that are currently more and more searched on the labour market in connection with upgrading knowledge of professional English, German, Italian and Spanish. Meaningful aspect of the practice constitutes knowledge of new manners and rules of rendering hotel and tourism services in European Union, developing abilities to apply new reservation systems, creation different possibilities and ways of client’s free time animation, perfection of professional expressions in foreign languages. The above profits will meaningfully increase professional chances on the labour market. We prepared numerous, various forms of the project results wide spread. They covered, among others, multi-media presentata, which were directed to the employers who created the project together with the project co-ordinators. Some of these events were shaped the form of the “Mini Labour Possibilities Fair”. In the scope of this event the beneficiaries obtained opportunity to present their skills, professional knowledge and gained experience to future possible employers. Information referring the project was also published on the college’s, town’s and partners’ website, as well as in local press and professional ( trade) magazines. We organized special feast addressed to the students, organizations and institutions that co-operated with our school, tour operators and hoteliers acting in our region. It was held in the framework of ""The day of the Hotelier and Tourism Guides” and it constituted an opportunity to remind, in a short manner, our share in European programmes completion, basing on these projects which have included our school for 17 years."

They went to Spain, Slovenia and Poland. The many visits and meetings with their counterparts have enabled fruitful exchanges so 85.2% return with another look at teaching and pedagogy, 73.5% say they have acquired skills specific to their sector or their current work, 70% think that this will lead their organization to adopt new methods and approaches, which will help 79.4% of participants to increase learners' motivation in the subjects taught.Among the objectives set, it was also to better understand the project management also 70.6% believe they have acquired practical skills (planning, project management ...), and 76.5% say they have developed their entrepreneurial spirit and 'initiative. It should be noted that 91% developed their interpersonal and social skills73.53% developed their personal skills (eg more self-confidence ...) 97% believe that this allowed them to develop their sensitivity and expression which goes beyond our original objectives. Another important point, exceeding our objectives: thanks to this mobility, 82.3% increased their job satisfaction, so we can see that European mobility, skills enhancement and project mode influence the quality of life at work.In the long run, 55% of young people are more likely to work in the country where they have made their mobility or internationally, but meeting, interculturality and building confidence in their skills and potential will enable them to to be more open, adaptable and therefore employable and active citizens. (testimonials: ""I enjoyed discovering the Scots in their daily lives, I think I had a more correct image of them by really sharing their culture, their work and their city. (...) a good experience because it reveals its strengths and weaknesses, its own limits. ""or"" I learned to be more autonomous, more patient and to adapt in a country that is not mine.
