    "The project Training Activities for the Development of New Enterprises is designed starting from the needs of the area and the problems that young people from Calabria have to face with reference to the inclusion in the labor market. In this context, ""T.R.A.D.E"", it is a great opportunity for / the younger generation (VET learners) increasing professional skills in tourism and agribusiness fields for to allow the younger generation to create enterprise. In line with the European Development Plan Shared by All Members of the Consortium the project will increase the following skills: - Acquire knowledge of the hotel business reality, the optimization of accounting computerization and booking processes, marketing choices and management / organization of human resources; - Promoting rural development and encourage responsible management of resources; - Promoting awareness of the stages of creation of hotel and non-hotel business, analysis of the market and innovative business strategies; - To acquire problem-solving skills in all management and operational phases; - Acquire skills of analysis of financial feasibility, technical, economic and commercial enterprise; - Foster the development of transversal skills. The project targets are100 high school graduates (50% is reserved for women in 2017/2018 - 2018/2019) having residence in Calabria. They will apply those who, within a year after graduation, they will mast graduates of higher education institutions belonging to the following sectors: 1) the accounting, finance, marketing, accounting, management software development for administrations in the tourism sector; 2) tourist accommodation and hotel hospitality; 3) operational management of the service in the lounge, bar and plans, including sales and customer loyalty; 4) agriculture, rural development, processing, valuation and marketing of agricultural and food products. The internships, will last four months, will be completed with foreign companies related professional sectors mentioned, as their aim is to develop transversal skills aimed at the creation and management of enterprise, from holdings in Spain, UK, Ireland and Belgium. The experience offered by the project will change the perception of local opportunities, transferring best practices for solutions / management for innovative competitiveness through the internship to the return that will be offered at local farms listed in the paragraph C.1.3. of this form. During the project, the trainees will be supported by the Commission in co-ordinating the Team -working through the provision of the following services: • linguistic, cultural and pedagogical; • matching action between the companies in which it held internships; • identification of the flights, buying tickets and better housing accommodations; • insurance coverage for the entire period of mobility; • mentoring and constant monitoring; • practical support for any logistical and organizational problems and a monetary contribution, called ""Erasmus + pocket"" in order to contribute share to cover the cost of meals and local transportation to / from the workplace. The mobility experience abroad will have a major impact on the participants: 1. In the professional point of view: knowledge of other labor markets and other economies, methods, approaches and different work techniques; development of new professional skills, language and technology; 2. From the point of view of personal growth: to know the aspects of another culture, develop a sense of responsibility and autonomy, increasing self-esteem and, therefore, self-employment. The project T.R.A.D.E. will have an impact at local, regional, national and European level, thanks to the following benefits: • opening of new start-ups; • 45% of learners (25% in Italy and 10% abroad) will find a stable employment by reducing the regional unemployment rate; • increased availability and availability on the labor market of qualified personnel; • improving management skills and strategies of internationalization; • closer link between education and the business world; • easier recognition of competences at European level; • Development of the European labor market."

    The European mobilities are part of the projects of the School and they aim at continuing long life collaboration with our european catering partners and at making our young students more employable by developping their skills in the catering field. This project concerned students undergoing a three year course of B-Tech and students who obtained their diplomas less than a year before.Activity 1 :The students undergoing a European section course in English with their B-Tech were organised a mobility for their compulsory 8 week training period. More than their professionnal skills, this mobility developped their English and their autonomy, it opened their mind on other cultures and developped the awareness of their European citizenship. At the end of their experience, the students obtained a europass and passed their European grade and Mobility Exam.Four sessions of mobility were organized for the students in their second and third year of B-tech in service and cooking: September 2014, March 2015, September 2015 and March 2016. Thanks to the European fundings, the regional fundings, the financial support of the families and the parners, 96 students, whatever their social background participated to the project which was highly formative and mentored. In order to prapare them to the mobility, the students had a linguistic training with the DNL courses ( practical English applyed to their field of the catering industry) with the making of european culinary specialties and service in English, the visits to Jean-Monnet's House and the conferences of the « Maison de l'Europe » initiated them to the European citizenship, and the English courses introduced the cultural specificities of our European partners.Since 2004, our catering partners which are high standards hotels situated in Scotland, Ireland and Estonia, welcome and train our students. Our local service providers, picked up the studetns at the airport and lead them to their different hotels. They were their referees abroad with their professionnal tutors. Teachers also went and met the different tutors to assess the students for their diplomas during their mobility experience.100 % of the students concerned passed their B-Tech in 2015, with 80 % of European distinction and 84% at the Mobility exam. Moreover, six of them were offered a summer job. This project was largely disseminated on the school website, the local newspapers and the local administration.Activity 2It consists of a European mobility proposed five months to young graduates of careers in Hospitality holders of a CAP or Bac Bac Pro Techno. They are enrolled in a Local Initiative Complementary Training: Adaptation in the Hospitality Trades Europe and abroad.Our participants are mostly from the Paris region and are drawn largely from modest backgrounds. They need financial and logistical support. Our goals are to predispose our participants adapt to rewarding personal and professional cultural situations. The goal is ultimately to promote their social and professional integration and to familiarize them with a training process throughout life.Our project is supported by a strong network of hotel schools facilities. The network C.H.A.S. E(Consortium of Hospitality and Accommodation Schools of Europe) now covers 19 hotel establishments located in 15 European countries: Germany, Belgium, Great Britain, Spain, Hungary, Italy, Finland, Ireland, Iceland, Latvia, Norway, Sweden and Turkey.It is thanks to the network that the proposed mobility actions can materialize, the diversity of possible destinations is a real strength of attractiveness. To coordinate our actions and sustain our partnership, we organize an annual meeting where we define a thematic axis. These last two years, we chose: Health Awareness and Nutrition in the hotel sector in Europe.The mobilities were held for a period of 5 months. The first 4 weeks, the trainee followed a preparation to prepare him for his probationary period. During the next four months, the trainees were placed in hotels, monitoring trainees being provided jointly by the original school, the host school and the internship tutor. During these 2 years 36 students performed brilliantly mobility (except 2 who returned during mobility).

    Our catering school has focused on European and International partnerships as specified in the School projects. The mobilities aimed at increasing the employment opportunities for our students in the catering industry. The Erasmus Project concerned 79 pupils in cooking or service B-Tec and 42 young graduates from less than a year. Activity 1: The 79 students preparing their BTECH with a European option subject came from 4 different classes. 40 students by session benefited from a European mobility to improve their professional as well as their linguistic cultural and personal skills, thanks to an 8 week training period in one of our hotel partners. Our network created in 2004 counts now 15 high standards hotels in Scotland, Estonia and Ireland where we developed in anticipation of the Brexit and the possible impacts on our Scottish partners. The students followed a 3 or 2 year course B-tec in cooking or service. Two mobility sessions took place each year, sept 2016, mars 2017, sept 2017, march 2018. To ensure fairness among the students (chefs and waiters) and to meet our partners expectations, the selection of trainees was well balanced. The short term goals were to obtain, the Cambridge Certificate and pass their B-Tec with the European distinction thanks to the Mobility optional exam and the long term goals were to increase employment opportunities thanks to a CV and Europass documents.Our activities covered 4 aspects: 1) Linguistic, with English lessons and DNL. 2) Cultural, with European citizenship awareness and an introduction to the cultural specificities of our European partners. 3) Professional, to improve our students' skills in the catering industy. 4) Personal, to develop autonomy and the adaptability of the students.Our partners or providers collaborating with the coordinators welcome the students. A weekly supervision of the students has been organized between teachers, to guide them into their vocational training. Teachers went on missions abroad to proceed to the different assessement and they perpetuated the partnerships and negotiated the future placements of students.The European financing as well as the grants from the region, the school, the partners and the families guarantied the same opportunities for all students and ensured the quality of the work placements. The local press, internet and the general inspectorate of education helped in promoting our professional European B-Tec thanks to which 98% of the students were graduated, a majority of which with the European distinction and most of them continued their studies. Activity 2: It consisted in a 5 months European and international mobility, offered to young graduates from less than a year with a CAP, a Professional B-Tec or a Technological A-level in Pastry, Hotel Reception or Bartending. They were part of a complementary training local initiative: Adaptation to European and international Hotel Trading. Our students came from the Parisian region, Province and some of foreign origin and mostly came from modest backgrounds. They required a financial and logistical support, our goals were to prepare our participants to adapt to various rewarding situations.The goal was to promote their social and professional integration and to place them in a training process throughout life. This international dimension was likely to develop our attractiveness both in recruitment and employability and thus to contribute to the excellent reputation of our training and the external projection of our school . Our project was supported by a rich network of experiences and catering schools facilities for 25 years: the CHASE network (Consortium of Hospitality and Accommodation Schools of Europe).There are 18 hotels concerned located in 15 European countries and others (Germany, Belgium, Britain, Spain, Hungary, Italy, Finland, Northern Ireland, Iceland, Leetonia, Norway, Sweden, Netherlands, Scotland and Turkey).It is thanks to the network 's actions proposed that this mobilitis were realized, the various possible destinations are a real strength of attractiveness. In order to coordinate our actions and sustain our partnership, we hold an annual meeting ( in France in 2017) during which we defined our lines of action.The mobilities took place from September, and lasted five months in 2 sessions. During 22 weeks , the trainees were placed in hotels, the supervision of the trainee was done in collaboration of the sending school, the host school and the internship tutor. participating to European Union remains vital for the sustainability and success of the project in which parents participate up to € 300.

    The project of our catering school insists on the importance of our European partner network and is historically oriented to Europe and International destinations. The main goal is to increase the employment opportunities for our students in the cookery and catering industry. This project concerns students preparing the equivalent of the BTECH in cooking and service and young graduates from less than a year. Activity 1:Students preparing their BTECH with a European option (40 students per level displayed in 4 classes) can improve their professional skills as well as their linguistic cultural and personnal skills thanks to an 8 week training period in one of our european hotel partners. Our network, created in 2004 consists now into a dozen high standard hotels in Scotland, Estonia, Ireland. It recently enlarged to Dublin because of the Brexit. The students are undergoing a 3 year course Btech or 2 year course Btech in european option and are trained to be chefs, waiters or bakers and pastry chefs. Two mobility sessions are planned a year (september 2018, mars 2019, september 2019, march 2020).To ensure fairness among the students (chefs and waiters) and to meet our partners expectations, the selection of trainees is well balanced. The short term goals are to pass their BTECH with the European distinction thanks to the points given by the optional Mobility and european spécific exams, to obtain a Europass, and the cambridge certificate. Our activities are in 4 parts: a) a linguistic part with English lessons and DNL. b) a cultural part with european citizenship awareness and introduction to the cultural specificities of our european partners. c) a professionnal part to improve our students' skills in the catering industry. d) a personnal part to developpe autonomy, adaptability of the students and their skills in new technologies. The students are welcome by our partners or providers collaborating with the coordinators. A weekly monitoring helps to guide the students. 2 teachers assess the students in the host country, they ensure the continuation of the partnerships, they anticipate the next work placements and look for new hotel restaurants. The European financing as well as the grants from the region, the school, the partners and the families guaranty the same opportunities for all students. The local press, departemental and national websites (HR), and social networks promote our european sections, which permitted 100% of students pass their Btech and a a majority continues their studies. Activity 2: it consists in a 5 months European and international mobility( 22 weeks) proposed to young graduates of less than 1 year stemming from hotel businesses catering and businesses by the food (supply) holders of a CAP (VOCATIONAL TRAINING QUALIFICATION,COURSE,CAPE), A BEP (A VOCATIONAL DIPLOMA), Vocational high school diploma. They are registered in a complementary (additional) training (formation) of local initiative ( F.C.I.L): adaptation to hotel businesses catering in Europe and on the international stage. Our students are native of Paris region, of province and some of foreign origin and arise for the most part of modest backgrounds and some have a light handicap. They require a financial and logistic support, our objectives are to prepare our participants to adapt themselves to diverse enriching situations. The purpose is to favor their social and professional integration and to place them in an approach of training throughout life. This international dimension is likely to develop our attractiveness so much at level recruitment as occupational integration and so contribute to the excellent reputation of our trainings and to the outside brilliance of our high school. Our project is carried by a network rich in experiences and in hotel establishments situated in 15 European and foreign countries (Germany, Belgium, Great Britain, Spain, Hungary, Italy, Finland, The Northern Ireland, Iceland, Latvia, Norway, Sweden, Netherlands, Scotland, and Turkey). It counts now 18 catering schools and training centers professional. It is thanks to the network that the proposed actions of mobility can become a reality, the diverse possible destinations are a real strength of attractiveness. With the aim of coordinating our actions (shares) and of extension our partnership, we organize an annual meeting during which define we our axes of action (share). The mobilities will take place from September 2018 for 5 months ( 22 weeks), the trainee will follow a preparation to condition (package) him/her in his future internship (training course) and will be placed in a company hotelkeeper. The follow-up is jointly insured by the high school of sending, the establishment of welcome (reception) and the guardian of internship (training course). The participation of The European Union remains vital to assure ( insure) the success of the project in which the families (relatives) participate at the level of 300€ maximum.

    "Among the sectors of the Smart Specialization Strategy of the 2014-2020 Region, two are highlighted with great intrinsic potential on which it is still important today, following the publication of the new programme, to invest resources for the improvement of skills and competitiveness:- TOURISM AND CULTURE;- ICT AND INNOVATIVE TERTIARY.""ICT4Tourism"" was born from the idea of integrating the two aforementioned sectors, to create opportunities to forge new job prifiles r able to apply the principles and tools of ICT to the tourism industry and to all economic sectors connected to it, since the innovative development of the sector represents a potential strength capable of taking off the regional economy and producing consequent benefits in terms of employment.The participants to the Erasmus + ""ICT4Tourism"" mobilities were 102 Calabrian graduates who benefited from the grant within one year of graduation in one of the following VET sectors:1) administration, finance, marketing, accounting, management software development for administrations in the tourism sector;2) tourist reception and hotel hospitality;3) operational management of the service in the dining room, bar and on the floors, including sales and customer loyalty activities;4) agricultural sector, rural development, techniques for the transformation, promotion and marketing of agricultural and agro-industrial products.Most of the candidates came from a medium-low socio-economic and cultural background, with a strong need to refine what they learned during their training from a theoretical point of view through on-the-job training; to develop those soft skills that are impossible to acquire if exposed only to the ""class"" environment, but which can be absorbed in a very receptive way if immersed in a real business dimension; to enhance their skills in a foreign language to broaden their career opportunities and enrich their curriculum; to look out on an international context from where one can learn.Internships were carried out at foreign companies located in Spain, United Kingdom, Ireland and Belgium belonging to the professional sectors mentioned.During the project, the trainees were supported by the Coordinating commission and the Project Team thanks to the provision of the following services:• linguistic, cultural and pedagogical preparation;• matching action between the companies in which the internships took place;• identification of flights, purchase of tickets and the best accommodation;• insurance coverage for the entire mobility period;• tutoring and constant monitoring;• a monetary contribution, so-called ""Erasmus + pocket"", in order to contribute in part to cover the cost of meals and local transport to / from the workplace• practical-logistical, psychological and health support during the most critical moments triggered by the spread of the COVID -19 pandemic and economic and financial support for the organization of additional services necessary to overcome all the critical issues arising from the situation.The ICT4Tourism project has had an impact at local, regional, national and European level, overcoming the obstacles posed by the advent of the pandemic:• 40% of learners achieved positive results in terms of employment directly attributable to participation in the project;• greater availability and availability on the labor market of qualified technical personnel;• improvement of management skills and internationalization strategies;• greater connection between the educational and the productive world;• easier recognition of competences at European level;• development of the European labor market."
