"“Powering Youth Entrepreneurial Potential” was a two-stage international youth exchange project which gathered 32 young people from 4 countries (Germany, Armenia, Hungary and Georgia) and empowered them with entrepreneurial attitudes and mindset. Unemployment has been identified as a big concern in Europe and beyond. Today’s world is marked by widespread focus on economic development, technological advancement and global integration. Yet, we still witness widespread unemployment, especially among young people who are left outside the prosperity loop and who find it more and more difficult to access ever-changing labor markets. This problem has been aggravated given the current context concerning young migrants, refugees and asylum seekers in Europe. The frustration and disempowerment of the disadvantaged youth in general and these young migrants and asylum seekers in particular can breed low self-esteem, low motivation, cynicism and radicalization. We believe that long term solution of this problem lies not in externalities of macro economics or policy but in hearts and minds of young people. A renewed mindset is needed for young people to understand that even in the most difficult situations they have more control over their lives than they think and through entrepreneurial spirit, procactivity and strategic approach they can spot values, seize opportunities, assess and take risk and grow. Instead of seeking a job, they can create one for themselves. Overall aims & Objectives:The main aim of this two-stage Youth Exchange was to create a platform and a process where young people experienced empowerment themselves and were equipped to empower others in their communities through exchange of ideas, stories, attitudes, techniques and tools that promoted entrepreneurial spirit and skills of young people in general and marginalized youth among refugees/asylum seekers and migrants in particular. One journey: 2 stages! The international exchange project “Powering Youth Entrepreneurial Potential” was comprised of two stages: The first stage was the weekend-long Web Conference where participants met up in the on-line realm, explored the subject, its challenges and opportunities and decided the themes, topics and methods of Exchange. In between the first and the second stage participants did research and observation in their local communities to find useful insights and opportunities for value creation, entrepreneurship and employability. The second stage was the actual Youth Exchange which gathered insights, learning, inspirations and experience of participants from their local communities and translated them into concrete business ideas and quality youth projects to be carried out under Erasmus + Programme. Objectives of the first stage- Weekend Web Conference (10-11 November 2018) were:-Explore the concept of self-employment and achieve a common understanding of youth employability.-Analyze the current situation of young people today especially marginalized youth among refugees/asylum seekers and migrants and understand their hopes, dreams fears and barriers for their personal development.-Form teams from participants to do research and observation in their local communities after they return in order to find useful insights and opportunities for entrepreneurship Objectives of the second stage-Youth Exchange Activity in Armenia (8-17 December 2018) were: -Gather insights, learning, inspirations and experience of participants from their local communities and translate them into concrete project ideas. -Equip participants with knowledge and skills in the field of project management in order to enable them to develop quality youth projects. -Identify existing resources for the young entrepreneurs and share know how on social enterprises to link youth among refugees/asylum seekers and migrants with business and entrepreneurship. -Promote Erasmus + Programme and explain how young people especially marginalized youth among refugees/asylum seekers and migrants can be involved in it. -Develop concrete business ideas and entrepreneurial initiatives. -Transfer skills and knowledge by developing and publishing online the ""Catalog of Youth Entrepreneurship Ideas and Initiatives"" The Youth Exchange was based on non formal learning methods and principles, intercultural dialogue and communication including group discussions, interactive presentations, participant’s lead workshops, etc. Youthpass tool was used throughout the project to help young people reflect regularly on their personal learning journeys. The methodology of the project stimulated active participation and sense of initiative and involvement of the learners. It aimed to create a learning space with better self-awareness and awareness of the needs and goals of the groups of young people they work with to enhance the results of the learning process and give birth to high quality projects led by the participants in the future."

"Youth exchange project ""Eurocamp - Being an active citizen""In all Europe, and especially in France, it appears that less and less people are going to vote. The idea of this project was to bring young people from different countries and background to exchange on the subject of citizenship, as a national level and at a european level. This project came from a strong cooperation between our organisation, the House of Europe of Nîmes - Europe Direct Information Centre Gard-Lozère, and the city twinning council of Nîmes.Through our partnership with the City twinnign of Nîmes, we agreed on partnerships with organisations from two differents twins cities Preston, in United-Kingdom, and Frankfort/Oder, in Germany. We also agreed on partnerships from our networks in Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and Poland. All together, we decided to bring in this project 5 participants per country, and one youth leader per group. This made a total of 42 participating persons on this project. The idea is to have participants from different backgrounds, aged 17 to 25 years old. We also planned to involve young people with fewer opportunities with cultural differences, economical obstacles or educational difficulties. By using different non formal learning methods, participants had the possibility to exchange on the subject of Citizenship at local, national and european level. They had also the possibility to meet and discuss with elected persons from this levels. Activities were also planned in order to help them to know and understand better each other, as well as building a group to encourage cultural exchange. The idea was, through this project, to give the opportunity to the participants to grow as a person, to learn about other cultures and countries, and to be more open minded and tolerant. The main objective was to encourage them to get more involved as citizens in the democracy process. This partnership made us cooperate with partners with who we already worked, as well as with new partners. This gave to all of us the opportunity to learn new non formal learning tools and way to promote and encourage citizenship involvement. We believe that by this way, this project will have a real impact in the democracy process for the young people, organisations involved, and in general the local communities of every partners cities."

"The project ""Practices in Pedagogy Waldorf"" has a great historical development and has been parallel to the activities of the institution for more than 15 years. At the time it emerged as a need to seek support for the daily work that is done with people with disabilities, but also has an aim to give visibility to our social action in Europe, more taking into account that our pedagogical method of working with the users come mainly from Germany and Austria. In principle, Germany was the country that sent us the youngest, but for the past few years we have received volunteers from Nordic countries, Eastern Europe, the south and the center (Germany, France, Portugal, Lithuania, Latvia, Denmark ...).The objective of the participants in the project is to support the work carried out by the professionals of the organization in its activity of providing well-being and training to people with intellectual disabilities. This is done through the services provided by the entity. The Occupational Center and Community Housing. At the Occupational Center, 40 people with intellectual disabilities come every day from Monday to Friday. In the Community Housing are 19 users who attend. That is why we always ask the EU for the participation of 4 Erasmus + volunteers, two for the Occupational Center and one for each of the Community HousingThe profile of the participants is the one proposed in the application forms, dynamic young people, willing to develop an important social action, with capacity to adapt to the circumstances that daily ""confronts"" us with working with people with intellectual disabilities. It has never been vetoed by religious, political or similar conditions. On the contrary, the project has welcomed volunteers of different religions and beliefs. The only condition is respect for persons with disabilities and their particular circumstances. The activities developed by the volunteers are basically to support the professionals in each of the services and in each of the activities that take place in them. Thus, in the Occupational Center participate in each of the occupational workshops (Candles, Textile and Binding) and in each of the therapeutic or leisure activities that are developed (Painting, Dance, Stimulation of movement, theater and day room) . With regard to housing, they help professionals in activities and tasks, and participate actively in leisure activities with users (trips, excursions ...).They are also offered the opportunity to participate in a training that, given by the professionals of the organization, is developed from January to June in which they deal with various topics related to intellectual disability and associated behavioral problems. In this year, except for one volunteer, the rest showed interest and went to the training exposed. The results of the project are satisfactory for the organization, the volunteers have fulfilled their tasks in a correct way and they have given that fresh air that every year brings us Erasmus + with its new young people. We also see a greater involvement each year in its activities and tasks, which we believe is a result of increased awareness of the social diversity of the EU and of the support that many of its citizens need."

The last years brought a topic on the public agenda that is a concern for youth work all over Europe. The radicalisation of young people is on the rise, on all levels of the spectrum - left, right or religious. Youth Work therefore plays an important role as the radicalisation of many young people could be successfully prevented if youth work would better know the different mechanisms and motivations behind the different forms of extremism. In order to successfully prevent the radicalisation of young people youth workers need to get to know the different steps, codes and motivation for the process the young person is going through.
During our TC for Youth workers have tackled the following agenda: - Study Visits to prevention programs in the Bremen area
- Terror comes with many faces - Exploring Europe’s history with terrorism
- Current forms of radicalization, special focus on Islamism and right-wing extremism - Religious and Racial theories for extremism
- Youth Workers Role
- Skill-set for recognizing tendencies in young people and how to address them The Trainings Course has been implemented nearby Bremen in November 2018.
