"The project consists of single activity – a training course. It will take place on 15-22 February 2017 in Antalya, Turkey. The countries involved in this project would be Portugal, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany, Turkey, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Finland and Poland - each of them delegating 6 participants. With this training course we aim to empower youth workers and youth leaders with skills, knowledge and attitudes to play an active role towards an inter-cultural society. ""Multipliers of Non Formal & Intercultural Communication"" is a training course for youth workers, youth leaders and peer-to-peer educators from youth organizations, that will give them the opportunity to explore other cultures and develop the skills to design non-formal learning activities for young people focusing on intercultural learning and intercultural dialogue. No secret that due to increased migration flow during the last 1-2 years Europe is undergoing big changes. There are growing tensions, intolerance and even acts of violence in societies in different European countries. They are often based on the fear of meeting and living together with people from other backgrounds. The majority of people, among them also a lot of young people, are confused and don’t know how to perceive and deal with these changes and social ambiguity. Youth workers CAN and SHOULD play an increasing role in helping the young people not only to understand the changes and current reality, but also to shape their attitudes of being open for dialogue, be curious of new, respectful of history, empathetic with people from (culturally) different backgrounds. This training course is based on non-formal learning and will apply “learning by doing” approach to achieve its objectives. It will require active involvement of participants at all stages of the project, but of course after the training, when the developed ideas on follow-up activities will be shared with partner organizations and implemented. The most tangible impact for the Organization will be that they will gain experience from youth leaders/workers that have more understanding and skills on organizing intercultural learning activities ad have personal contacts to representatives of organizations in other countries with whom they can cooperate for future projects.Through exercises, discussions, presentation of examples of good practices, youth policies in the field of combating discrimination and promoting multiculturalism, we want to encourage peer learning and inspire youth workers to discuss follow-up and take action in their own countries following the training course. Moreover, during the TC, special attention will be paid to developing skills and competencies of the participants that are needed when working with young people, especially people with fewer opportunities and empowering them to make real change in their local communities and societies."

"This project is proposed by a group of young animators of Jeunesse et Reconstruction and it aims to raise awareness among young Europeans about the urgent need to take a stand and make hear their voice in defense of the European Union. We wonder: why in recent times it rings out so strongly the voice of Eurosceptics and, on the contrary, it is so hard to hear the voice of the approximately 2.5mln young people that - since their creation - have profited and continue to benefit from EU Programs that means opportunities of international mobility, training, learning and work offered by the European Union? It 's time to fight back, to give back in some way something to Europe that so far has given so much to the younger generation. It 'time to defend the spirit, ideas and principles which have inspired its creation and its progressive structuring, but it is also time to understand the many tasks that the EU fulfills and the many functions that it performs, all things that very often European citizens (especially young people) ignore. As young people who have largely taken advantage of European opportunities (university exchanges, EVS, international youth exchanges, training based on non-formal education, etc.) we are aware about the lack of information and knowledge (Europe always struggles to tell and make understand what it is and what it does) and the distance that exists between the EU and its citizens. To motivate this project is the belief that animation, non-formal education methods, can be very effective in conveying an image of Europe as a value to be defended, with related information and knowledge that can be so valuable for the younger generation. This is why we have brought together a highly qualified partnership highly experienced in European issues, but also in interactive/participatory educational activities. This project is for sure a good opportunity to reflect on the delicated moment Europe is living, but also to initiate a process of mutual learning and exchange of good practices, ideas, methods and creation of tools related to what we might call ""Educating to Europe."" Participants must arrive to Etoile sur rhone with a plan of actions to be implemented in their territory (information sessions, training interventions, educational initiatives and campaigns, etc.) and come back home with a set of tools, examples and useful methods to implement activities designed during the seminar. In total, participants will be 24 , 2 or 3 for each organization, from 9 countries. About their profile, the condition is that at least one has to be an experienced animator, educator, youth/social worker (but also a teacher interested in the topic), while the other (or others) has to be a young person interested in the subject (it would be suitable a young European Federalist) and ready to take on a multiplier role in their own context."

"The project ""How to Create Common Intercultural Histories"" aims to bring together, from 25June to 3 July 2018 in Angoulême, 27 youth workers from 09 European countries (France, Bulgaria, Croatia, Italy, Greece, Lithuania, Turkey, Romania) in the framework of a European training. The aim is to enable them to discover and acquire the pedagogical tool of comics as a vector of life stories and learning to improve the quality of their work with their young audiences in a fight against prejudices and discrimination and the development of intercultural openness. Thus, we offer comic book training as a creative learning tool to express personal stories and promote healthy intercultural dialogue aimed at: 1) raising awareness and empathy about the migration situation current in Europe; 2) acquire practical skills to make comics and use comics as a tool for facilitation and learning in intercultural education; 3) to create comic strips that could serve as learning material on intercultural dialogue and to raise citizens' awareness of immigration issues in Europe."
