"Project “ORA: Social Entrepreneurship as Tool for Sustainability/OSETS” as overall aim had to realize a long term non formal education process at international level and among organizations (Youth centres/Clubs, youth associations, associations which promote social equality, cultural associations, etc) coming from 7 different European countries (four EU and 3 Western Balkans countries) able to empower the youth work through social entrepreneurship for the young people with which they work, to increase the competences of their youth workers in order to include better target groups in social, cultural and economic life of their communities. During planning and realization of this project we have leaned on a long-term cooperation in youth work developed in the last 4 years among different European partners within the framework of ORA Network (Observe, Rethink, Act). Thanks to our old and new partners during this project we had the opportunity to verify at grassroots level and through international dimension that the transverse skills that are increasingly needed for personal, civic and professional routes from youth to adulthood can be achieved through social entrepreneurship. We have focused on practical knowledge which participants gained and shared through project activities but also in their everyday, local work. In this way we have also empowered the network ORA because we used our own resources where is possible and contacts and educational paths from previous experiences. Having in mind that our partners are youth Centres, youth associations and organisations working with young people which are ""open spaces"" where young people are receiving support and guidance in the process of the personal and professional growth we wanted to ensure that partners can become for them as incubators for different socio – cultural and environmental micro-projects that offer the possibility for young people to discover and experience their potential, abilities, skills, inclinations and ambitions, while actively participating in a responsible way to the life of their community. Priorities of this project were to increase skills of professionals who are working with youth in order to empower their beneficiaries with ideas and basic knowledge how to develop social entrepreneurship. In order to realize this kind of project it was be very important to have contact with institutions who are giving support to development of social entrepreneurship. This was important both for youth organizations and young people in order to answer properly to the increasing demand for more wide support through youth work activities and to the professional needs expressed by several organisations engaged in youth work to raise their capacities to better perform and provide more useful services for economical sustainability of youth organizations and for young people with which they work. The overall aim of the project was to empower youth workers and organizations to use social entrepreneurship as a tool for sustainability of their work with and for young people. In this way partners gained innovative approaches. This meant to give all participants space to express their needs and expectations and together with them make “how to”. In order to achieve set objectives we implemented following activities: •A1 Study visit (Observe phase)•A2 Seminar (Rethink phase)•Recommendation with case studies and online toolkit•Incubator workshops activities•A3 Training course (Act phase)•A4 Conference on social entrepreneurship"

"The project was inspired and had connected partners and stakeholders from other two KA2 projects (Creating a framework and developing contents for tomorrow's youth centers and ""ORA: Capacity Building to Generate Innovative Approaches in Youth Work""), which worked in parallel with different objectives to further develop and enhance the quality of Youth work worked in field, on local environments and on the projects. Both projects had complemented each other in a meaningful way and was easily brought together to make an even bigger impact during this project implementation. The combined methods of both projects had been complemented each other; they had improved the quality of youth work in participating organizations of both and this project, at other stakeholders and to the students of Alice Solomon school for applied science as well. However, the main focus is on explaining, discussing and writing about the importance of youth work for the personal development of young people, for increasing their active citizenship and for social progress, how it was developing and what had and is influencing it in different counties.Within the project had hold a seminar in which 8 partners from 8 countries participated. Each partner had participated with 3 participants, with at least one representative from local government and one representative from practical youth work to attend. Wherever possible, the scientific aspect was also taken into account and participants had gaining from this context. The seminar had 5 working days and had taken place in Berlin. Within this seminar, one day was designed as a symposium with other participants from science and practical work to increase the impact. Symposium was implemented in and in cooperation with Alice Solomon University for applied science - ASH https://www.ash-berlin.eu/en/ . All the activities during the project implementation were using non-formal working methods and are based on the contributions of all participants. The work results of the seminar aim was to increase the quality of the own work of the involved partners and the ability of the participants to argue for youth work as a way of non-formal and informal education. But we had also designed, published, and addressed a joint statement (communiqué) those responsible for providing youth work resources. During symposium it was very interesting discussions with students about youth work, it practices and it definitions in different countries in Europe and wider, how similar and how different it is and how certain practices can be used from one reality to other."

The idea, then, was to realise an activity targeted to youth workers and organisation based on the knowledge of good practices adopted in Abruzzo. Dates of the project were 1st August 2014 - 1st January 2015 and the Study Visit was realised from 18th till 25th October 2014. Objectives of the project were:- To know in detail examples of good practices in the Sangro Valley and in Province of Chieti in terms of methodologies, activities and policies realised by companies, co-operatives, institutions and associations on the theme of Sustainable Development as a tool of inclusion, employment and entrepreneurship for young people;- To share among partners and participants elements of knowledge about the different contexts involved on the themes of Sustainable Development, green jobs, youth inclusion and fight against poverty- To analyse the possibilities and methodologies given by educational and multimedia tools to transfer and promote the knowledge and the experiences acquired during the Study Visit in the different contexts of each partner to increase the quality of the work done with young people- To reinforce the relationship among partners with the specific objective to plan and realise future projects under the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme to increase its quality and using the knowledge and competences acquired during the Study Visit. Future projects will represent a concrete opportunity of active involvement and personal and economic development for those young people with which all the partner work.Participants were 30, including 2 facilitators and 3 support staff, from Italy, Bosnia Herzegovina, Serbia, Albania, Bulgaria, Romania, Germany, Macedonia, Belgium, Spain and Portugal. The methodology applied guaranteed high level of involvement of all the actors of the project.During the preparatory phase participants collected examples of good practices on the themes of Sustainable Development, youth inclusion and concrete experience of development of ""green jobs"" and ""green entrepreneurship"" and realised a preparation on intercultural aspects as well. During the Study Visit were organised ice-breaker games, team building, presentation of the Erasmus+ Programme and Youthpass certificate, sharing activities on the associative backgrounds and on the preparatory works, 2 ""Show and tell"" sessions, a working session on the theme of the project, field visits and meeting with different local experiences on the themes of Sustainable Development, inclusion and dynamization of young people, promotion of green jobs (each one followed by de-briefing), a working session on how to reproduce and concretely apply the competences and the knowledge acquired, working sessions on the realisation of communication, promotional and information material on the themes of the project, elaboration of common future steps, reflection groups and final evaluations. A dossier on the different visited realities was prepared directly by participants with their notes, data and comments.Project had a high impact on the knowledge and competences on both promoting social inclusion and active participation for those young people coming from condition of exclusion and for the promotion of an alternative, sustainable and innovative approach to entrepreneurship through ""green jobs"". Most of the partners are already applying in their territories activities and methodologies acquires during the study visit adapting them to each context. Title of the Projct is: ""Identity and diversity - youth cultures in Europe"" and is planned to take place in Berlin. The partnership of the partizipating organisations is grown out of a network which already organised several youth exchanges and study vists in the last years. In these projects we already worked on topics and issues like human- and children rights, youth cultures, sustainable developement/ ecology and green jobs. The main goal of the project is to give the chance to the partizipants to discuss and reflect their national and cultural backround and identity and to realise differences and similatitys. To do this we´re using the methodology of youth culture approach. The project wants to enable young people to connect expieriences of different social backrounds, to explore diversity as ressource, to have a more open view on sozial developement and to be able to understand their live into an international context. We want them to learn that they are able to use their special youth culture as a possibility to articulate their needs, desires and expectations towards society. During the project we´ll organise group discussions and seminars and we´ll work in 3 workshops of youth culture contents to this topic. These workshops are: music/Hip Hop, Garffity/Streetart, photgraphie/film. We want them to question prejudices against different cultures, customs, traditions and ways of living. We want them to have the expierience of self-efficacy and enlarge their self confidence in skills and abilitys. "The multy-activities ""The Nature: a playground for the inclusion of Young People"" represented a direct follow up of a previous project realised by ORA Network in 2016/17 (ORA: green tools to enhance the social inclusion of young people and sustainable development of local communities) and aimed to actively engage young people coming from disadvantaged background and/or from context of social exclusion (immigrant of second generation, refugees, asylum seekers, ethnic minorities, NEET, YP with disabilities, etc.) in sustainable practices and eco life styles activities. The goal was to develop their critical thinking and their commitment to social, cultural and environmental matters using the ""natural capital"" (protected areas, Nature Reserves, etc.) as playground to increase their opportunities of active citizenship, involvement in the community and inclusion in the democratic process. The project was composed by 2 Activities: 1 Advance Planning Visit that took place in Chieti and 1 Youth Exchange that was realised in Atri. Dates of the project have been 02-07-2018 - 1-02-2019. Dates of the Activities: 31 August–03 September 2018 (APV) and 04-13 November 2018 (Youth Exchange). The methodology applied in all the phases has been Non Formal Education (learning by doing, peer education, interaction and sharing, ORA Observe Rethink Act, CRACS, etc.) and has guaranteed the highest involvement possible of all the actors of the project. The objectives achieved by the project have been: - to realise a project able to promote meeting, and sharing of ideas and projects among European young people and organisations to support the active participation and inclusion of young people through the natural capital (green and protected areas); - to involve young people coming from disadvantaged conditions to encourage and empower their sense of active citizens through a direct link with green areas, nature reserves and parks; - to know and share examples of good practices and activities realised at European level from associations, institutions and groups of citizens on the use of green and protected areas as tool of inclusion, participation and personal development of young people; - to realise an educational path on field as a way of direct protagonism of young participants to promote a social, economic and environmental development of the involved territories; - to share with local community the results realised during the youth exchange through the public event ""Calanchi d'Autunno""; - to plan and realise future projects within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme increasing the quality and using the knowledge and experiences acquired during the project.Participants to APV have been 6 Group leaders and those to the Youth Exchange were 30 young people, mostly coming from disadvantaged and marginalised conditions, plus the 6 Group leaders of the APV and 2 support staff. Countries involved have been Italy, Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, Bosnia Herzegovina and Serbia. In the preparatory phase participants collected information and documentation on good practices, strategies and activities realised in the different involved countries on the use of green areas as tool of inclusion, participation and growth for young people coming from disadvantaged conditions. They also worked on intercultural aspects. During APV have been defined the logistic and methodological details of the Youth Exchange. In Activity2 were realised ice-breaker games, team building, presentation of Erasmus+ and Youthpass, sharing sessions of associative backgrounds and preparatory works, 2 working sessions on the topics of the project, a field visit in the Nature Reserve ""Calanchi di Atri"", a meeting within the Environmental Education Center of the Marine protected area of Torre Cerrano, an educational path (3 workshops: Educational Module in the field of environmental education, environmental communication, setting of an Environmental Educational Path with a special sensory approach for YP with disabilities) based on acquiring competences and knowledge through a work on field, a public event (Calanchi d'Autunno), a working session on how to reproduce and apply competences and knowledge acquired, working session on future steps, intermediate and final evaluations.
