In 2018/19 students and staff benefited extensively from the opportunity to experience life as a student, employee, researcher and lecturer in new environments with new challenges in language, culture and practice. Our results demonstrate that Erasmus+ positively and significantly impact those who have participated. Despite the negativity surrounding Brexit and uncertainty as to whether the UK would continue to be an Erasmus Programme country, students' sense of belonging to an international community has increased, extendedtheir academic experience and expanded horizons with same enthusiasm as previous years. For staff it has brought new opportunities to staff, strengthened institutional collaboration with other European Universities and enabled new collaborations to flourish. 116 individual students have benefited from funding for mobilities essential for the completion of undergraduate degrees with international experience, European language degrees. Staff members were enabled to increase collaborations and research cooperation internationally. Our activities fell into three main categories,; student mobility to partner universities, student mobility to employers; staff mobility. Each component contributed to personal development but also to one of the University's four strategic priorities of 'being an internationaluniversity for the region' and ensuring that a University located in north west Wales offers students of all backgrounds the opportunity to participate in a life-changing and career boosting experience.
