For further information contact us at helpdesk@openaire.euassignment_turned_in ProjectPartners:Süleyman Şah University, Süleyman Şah UniversitySüleyman Şah University,Süleyman Şah UniversityFunder: European Commission Project Code: 2021-1-TR01-KA130-HED-000004017"With the process of ""devolution of authority"" to the universities it has initiated, the new YÖK has made arrangements on many issues,especially the mechanisms such as the Higher Education Programs Advisory Board and the Higher Education Quality Board,and made a ""transfer of authority"" to higher education institutions under various headings.Higher education system aims to “transform the system gradually” on the basis of continuous improvement,on the basis of knowledge and experience,and in a manner based on transparent processes.In 1997-98,it carried out the first restructuring studies of YÖK Education Sciences Faculties and teaching undergraduate programs,which are working in a competitive environment,within the scope of the Ministry of National Education Development Project.Although partial arrangements were made in 2006 and 2009,due to the later developing conditions and needs,new arrangements were made regarding the Education Faculties due to the structural changes made in the education system in 2012;the necessary arrangements and updates were made by reviewing divisions and departments in undergraduate programs.This development project has been implemented since the academic year of 2018-19.The courses in the teaching undergraduate programs updated in 2018,as in the previous terms,are again with 45-50% of Field Education Courses, 30-35% of Teaching Profession Courses and 15-20% of General Culture Courses,grouped in 3 sub categories.Considering that is the right choice, it was discussed at the Higher Education General Board meeting dated 10.08.2020, and the decision of the Higher Education General Board dated 12.04.2018 regarding teaching programs was annulled and on the subject of ""number of courses, hours / number of credits and density"", it was decided to authorize the relevant boards of higher education institutions in determining the courses, curricula and credits in teaching programs, provided that the order in this grouping is also taken into consideration.Based on the autonomy that YÖK gives to the faculties of education as the top policy maker of Turkish higher education, the researcher is professionally equipped, open to cooperation, loves to teach and devoted to his profession, can use educational technologies, can apply the theoretical knowledge he has acquired, is open to lifelong learning and can develop himself. Having the vision of being a faculty capable of approaching each individual, especially students, with a tolerant and objective perspective, expressing their thoughts freely, criticizing, having scientific thinking skills, aware of their duties, responsible, creative-productive teachers and academicians, the education of our students who graduated from the Faculty of Education To increase the knowledge in this field and to increase the quality of education by conducting theoretical and practical researches in the field of sciences; to produce solutions to educational problems, to conduct a qualified undergraduate and graduate education in the field of educational sciences in line with the mission of training teachers and experts in accordance with the qualifications specified in, we established the Educational Sciences E + Consortium with Afyon Kocatepe University (AKU), which we have developed in partnership with the Underground Resources and Energy Internship Consortium.7 educational sciences departments within SDU (Educational Sciences, Basic Education, Special Education, Mathematics and Science, Turkish and Social Studies, Foreign Language Education, Fine Arts Education departments) and training teachers in the fields allowed by YÖK, with the programs envisaged by it. with an academic staff who follows and produces new educational technologies, who are innovative, creative, who have developed ethical values, who can establish effective communication and cooperation with their stakeholders, who play a leading role in the social transformation process in the contemporary sense, and who will shape the future of our country and humanity, and a teacher. 7 (Computer and Instruction Technologies, Educational Sciences, Mathematics) and Science, Turkish and Social Sciences, Basic Education, Foreign Languages Education), 32 STAs and 32 SMPs for the department."

Institutional Eramus+ Office presented benefits of Erasmus+ project on carreer improvement for university members form every level through periodical meetings on Faculties, Vacational Schools and Post Garaduate Schools. As an inspiring university, our institution aims at increasing the numbers taking part in the project in a transperent and foreseeable standards. Applicants to particapate the project are mostly consists of students whose average grade is at least 2.20/4.00. Academic staff selected some sort of criteria comprised of their foreign language skill, academic success and eager to improve their occupational features. As for administrative staff are most welcoming to participate Erasmus+ project. There is a guide produced our university for sustainable internationalization of our administrative staff. All administrative staff who succeded to join Erasmus+ Project were leaded a personel guide to betterize Europeanization of their occupation. All these indicates that our objective to encourage not only staff but also students who may have hesitant to participate in the mobility project. Our institution is determinant all staff and students to join Erasmus+ projects at least once in their univeristy life. By this target our university will be able to realize to raise internationalized and open minded persons.
