Youth work encompasses a broad range of activities (social, cultural, educational, sports-related and political) carried out with, by and for young people through nonformal and informal learning. Youth work provides out-of-school education, as well as leisure activities managed by professional or voluntary youth workers and youth leaders. During the Erasmus + project in Malta in 2019 some of partners met together, discussed the necessity of this project, where participants could see, discuss and exchange the good practices of youth work, to share experiences, to learn from each other and in this way to develop youth work in Programme and Partners countries. The main AIM of the project ""Reality of Youth Work"" was to present youth work in Latvia, exchange of experience with partners, improve working methods with youth from different backgrounds and strengthen cooperation of Programme and Partner countries in the field of youth. Project was for youth workers, leaders, municipality representatives from the youth departments from Programme and Partner countries. Partner countries gave the added value for the project as the youth work in Partner countries is less developed and participants learned from the best practices and used it for the development of youth work in their realities.Participants of this study visit also got a chance to build partnerships and plan new joint initiatives. Moreover, there was an opportunity to learn from the local youth initiatives, as well as to share the best practices in terms of successful youth engagement in Europe. Objectives of the study visit were following:•To learn about the reality of youth work in Latvia, Latgale region;•To support understanding of youth work realities of participating countries;•To improve working methods of organizations with youth from different backgrounds;•To learn about youth work in towns and rural area and to compare them;•To foster partnership building between organizations from Programme and Partner countries;•To explore the added value of the European dimension of youth initiatives;•To facilitate the acquisition by participants of communication, teamwork and project management skills of internationalactivities and networking;•To understand the impact and social change a youth center can have within the local community;•To increase the strategic thinking of youth workers in order to create long-term interventions for personal andprofessional development of young people.<< Implementation >>Project was for youth workers, leaders, municipality representatives from the youth departments from Programme and Partner countries. European Association ""World-Our Home"" hosted 29 participants from 12 organizations from - Azerbaijan, Jordan, Spain, Georgia, Israel, Moldova, Germany, Russian Federation, Greece, Croatia, Portugal and Latvia. Partner countries gave the added value for the project as the youth work in Partner countries is less developed and participants could learn from the best practices and use the gained knowledge for the development of youth work in their countries. Participants of this study visit also got a chance to build partnerships and to plan new joint initiatives. Moreover, there was an opportunity to learn from the local youth initiatives, as well as to share the best practices in terms of successful youth engagement in Europe. In Study Visit there were used the following non-formal education methods: the main methods were study visits to the different youth centers, meetings with young people, deputies, youth workers; interactive real-life learning experience; follow-up project development, networking, discussions and understanding of reality of youth work in Latvia, Latgale region; the acquaintance activities - the individual, couple and group tasks, which aim was to let participants to get to know each other closer - the names, interests, occupations, role in the organization, motivation to participate in the project, etc.; the ""ice breakers"" - activities in the groups which were carried out at the beginning of a project to break the ice between participants and create a positive atmosphere in the group; the team building activities which made an attractive way to join the group; brainstorming, during these activities participants generated a lot of ideas on the subject of the project; there were short activities (energizers) to give the energy to participants, especially in the morning, presentations, speeches; the intercultural evening during which every group presented their country and its culture to other national teams; as well as round-table discussions, debates, workshops, evaluations, reflection time.<< Results >>Through this project we wanted to show the participants our work with youth in Latvia and Latgale region. Youth policy in Latvia is quite developed and recognized and we wanted to share our experience and good ideas with partners from Partner and Programme countries. The project had the impact on all the target groups - project participants, partner organizations and young people with whom youth workers/participants involved in the project are working. Study Visit was organized with the aim to give participants the experience, knowledge, tools, examples how to improve the youth work, how to improve their professional and personal skills and at the same time to meet new colleagues from different countries, to learn from the good examples of youth work in Latvia, Latgale region. Project had an immediate impact on all the participants providing them with the international experience, new ideas, knowledge and skills that will help them in arranging and organizing the qualitative youth work at local and international level. Project participants got new ideas for innovations in their work from the study visit, which had impact on the participating organizations for more successful work with young people. Furthermore, all the participants were youth workers who are directly involved into youth work and youth programs in their own countries. In this way all the knowledge and experience gained in the project were shared with youth throughout their work in organizations in their native countries. So the main target groups were young people and their youth workers from European and partner countries. We saw a clear need for more cross border discussions, study visits and peer learning, especially for organizations from Partner countries, on how to work with systematic quality development in youth work. We wanted to make this project for strengthening the trust and building a real partnership at the international, national and regional levels to foster mutual respect, tolerance and understanding and learn from each other as well from our best practices. As a result of the project participants improved their competences, linked to their professional profiles such as youth work, knowledge and skills in Erasmus + programme. Participants saw the good practice in work with youth, working methods in Latvia, Latgale region and in such way every participant got a lot of practical advises and skills by the methods of non-formal education. Youth workers learned how to understand youth with fewer opportunities better and to facilitate them to their personal, social and educational development. They learned from each other and learn from the good practices in youth work. Participants recognized their own strengths and weaknesses in the work with youth. They were able to reach more young people, to understand their needs and to recognize the problems. Participants developed their management skills, creativity, got relevant knowledge, skills, experience, as well as they built a strong partnership among their organizations with the aim to work successfully together in the field of youth and in Erasmus+ programme."

By explaining that we can reduce the greenhouse gas effect that causes global warming with the production of biogas, which is one of the sustainable (renewable) energy sources, thanks to these productions, obtaining clean energy by the disposal of waste, low-cost, organic agriculture by using the by-product (fertilizer) generated during this process, We aim to attract the attention of young people to a subject that can enable the cultivation of products and to arouse curiosity by showing them the ways to access the right resources. At the same time, we believe that these facilities can be a solution to unemployment in rural areas and that migration from villages to cities can be prevented by these investments. We aim to inform these young people, who are the businessmen, investors, teachers and engineers of the future, on this subject. Thanks to the biogas facilities to be established in rural areas, it will be possible to increase the access to organic fertilizers with cheaper costs, to develop both agriculture and people to reach healthier foods. At the same time, the participant youth will be informed that there are domestic biogas production facilities where they can solve the energy problem in rural areas and that there are good examples of these in some countries, and they will be provided with different perspectives and information. We aim to draw attention to environmental pollution, access to clean energy, the importance of organic agriculture and employment issues in rural areas, and to arouse curiosity with awareness studies, by referring to the points that our world will be more livable and clean thanks to these household biogas production methods.<< Activities >>Our project will be held in Ankara between 23-29 / 09/2021, between 10:00 and 17:00.1st day: Meeting and integration of participants from different cultures (The ice breaking technique will enable the participants to coalesce.) Thus, the participant young people will get to know people from different cultures and be more understanding towards them. An initial survey and a first test will be conducted on the project topic (It will be done with the survey technique). A presentation will be made on the introduction of the project, its objectives and expected results. (presentation technique will be done). It is aimed that the participants will be more interested in the project and participate in the project much more actively by making them weigh their knowledge about the subject.Day 2: A presentation and conversation will be held with an expert from the Energy Efficiency Environment Department (EVCED). (Presentation and Conversation methods will be used). With this event, it is planned to better understand the importance of environmental pollution, prevention of the effects of domestic and animal wastes (fertilizers) on greenhouse gas, renewable clean energy sources, energy efficiency and biogas production. With the conversation, it is aimed that the participants actively participate in the subject and that the subject is clearly understood by the young people by simplifying the technical terms and expressions.3rd day: Participant groups will present the results of their research on practices, application methods, good practice examples in Italy, Germany and Algeria. (Presentation technique) Thanks to this presentation, the participants will understand the work done by other countries and especially Germany and Italy. Good practice examples will be seen in these two countries, which are the top two in the world in biogas production. Germany will make a presentation to us by making researches on good practice examples in their country on domestic biogas production from our partner. Applications in the waste management issues of Abu 3 countries will be understood.4th day: Participant groups Romania and Azerbaijan will present their research on the practices in their countries (presentation technique). In the light of the information and examples obtained for 4 days, there will be discussions on why in developing countries, what should be done to strengthen the energy production from waste, How we can use our environment in a cleaner way. (Brainstorming and Discussion methods will be used). How can we spread this knowledge at international level, what should be the most effective method, how will each group apply dissemination studies in their own country, how can other groups benefit from these dissemination methods. (Lecture and Discussion methods will be used)Day 5: A visit was organized to the BES (Bio Power Plant) facility in Akyurt, the methods used, how many tons of fertilizers per year, how much energy is obtained, how many tons of CO2 equivalent greenhouse gases are eliminated, and an on-site facility was observed. (With Gezi and Observation methods, it is aimed for the participants to see the facility that they envisioned in their theoretical imaginations and to learn the rough lines of its functioning.) (Using the method of village, it is aimed to ask the questions they are curious about to the expert who has knowledge and experience on the subject.Day 6: The e-book of our project output will be prepared. The project will be evaluated. Day 7: The final test will be applied. Certificates and participation certificates will be presented. The project will be given a thank you dinner.<< Impact >>Thanks to this project, the participants will be able to take part in a national platform and gain knowledge and skills about a subject that they did not pay attention to and did not receive training until now. They will have a good opportunity to develop their social side and increase their self-confidence. They will have the opportunity to see another country and develop their horizons by meeting people from other cultures. By having the opportunity to learn and understand different thoughts on environmental protection and clean energy concepts mentioned in the project, curiosity and interest will be aroused in a subject where they can perhaps obtain job opportunities in their adulthood. They will learn by experiencing Erasmus + projects. They will find the opportunity to improve their existing language skills. They will gain an experience and a certificate, which may be preferred in their future business life. As individuals who are more sensitive to the environment and social and social events, they will gain respect in the society.Participating organizations: All associations and foundations around the world can only gain their strength through an active organization and the activities they offer to their members. No organization can only grow by sitting and be beneficial to its environment. The only thing that needs to be done for this is to organize activities for its members and aim these activities to benefit the world, society and their participants. Thanks to our project, our participating partners will add value to their institutions by taking part in a project that draws attention to the global warming problem, which is important for the world, and creates awareness about clean energy, and will give their members the opportunities we have listed above.Target groups: The target groups that we will reach through the dissemination works of our project will have gained awareness and brief information about our project subject, environment, global warming and clean energy (renewable, continuous). By paying attention to these issues in their lives, they would have achieved a healthier and more peaceful life by aiming to make the world they live in more livable for both themselves and the generations that came after them. For peace is a reward for the right actions that man does for a power greater than himself. At the same time, he will have the opportunity to learn new information about one of the most important professions and investments of the future when he investigates the concept of clean energy with the curiosity that awakens with the little information he has learned on the subject.

Raising the level of key competences, in particular communication in foreign languages, competencessocial and civic, cultural awareness and expression.3. Social integration and solidarity.<< Implementation >>Preparation of mobilityDue to the COVID 19 epidemy, preparations for mobility were extremely demanding. Starting from researching the situation regarding the formalities necessary to meet the participants from individual countries (especially from outside the Schengen area) to come to Poland, through the recruitment of participants ready to travel under the conditions of sanitary rigor, to conducting selected sending organizations through the visa process. Despite the fact that all the necessary information was included in the infopack document, individual participants and representatives of partner organizations had problems with understanding and accepting the requirements for traveling to Poland under sanitary conditions, which translated into problems with gathering the appropriate groups of participants . At the end, just one day before the exchange, the organization from Slovakia completely withdrew from participating in the project, citing epidemiological reasons as the reason. In turn, the organization from Portugal was not able to collect the appropriate number of participants vaccinated or able to cover the costs of PCR tests, which translated into the need to introduce a hybrid mode of project implementation. All these factors contributed to the high frequency of online meetings in the two months preceding the exchange, they were held on average once a week for representatives of sending organizations and additionally twice for participants.MobilityThe mobility was carried out in a hybrid mode, and with the increased number of participants from individual countries (with the consent of the National Agency), which resulted from the withdrawal of the organization from Slovakia. These changes, introduced literally on the eve of the exchange, significantly influenced its course and, above all, the program. For a group of 7 remote participants, regular online meetings were held (7 meetings on average 1 hour a day), during which we talked about topics planned for implementation in accordance with the planned activity program. Additionally, these participants worked individually and in groups, carrying out the assigned exercises and tasks, thus contributing to the development of the results of the exchange (staging scenario, website and artistic installation).19 stationary participants attended meetings with remote participants and stayed in touch with them via Facebook discussion groups and WhatsApp. Even before mobility, the exchange program was adapted to pandemic conditions, we had to, inter alia, give up on the performance at school in favor of developing a scenario to be used in lessons and the production of a series of short video materials. At the same time, due to the absence of people who were to implement some of the program points (participants from Portugal and Slovakia), a new division of topics was introduced to be carried out by individual groups, and some topics were assigned to the coordinator of the activity. However, despite the difficulties, we managed to implement all the substantive assumptions of the project.Post-mobility activitiesAfter the mobility, there were two online summary meetings, and the most active project participants formed the WaaH (We Are All Human) initiative group, which meets regularly and works together to expand the resulting website and prepare for the continuation of activities in subsequent projects. All participants are also in constant contact on dedicated discussion groups. The script of the performance of No Hate Speech was published on the website weareallhuman.eu and sent to schools cooperating with partner organizations. Moreover, the participants made an artistic, intercultural collage, which was later presented as part of the ""We Are All Human"" exhibition at the ""Animator art school"" in Gliwice.<< Results >>1. The participants awareness of social diversity in the countries participating in the project deepened. A series of cultural evenings was organized, as well as numerous discussions on topics important to the participants.2. The participants increased their knowledge and awareness in the areas of refugees and migrants and the relationship between globalization, migration and racism and xenophobia. Together, we have also prepared a website where we deal with these topics.3. A script for the No Hate Speech theater production was created and a series of short video forms promoting diversity and tolerance.4. The script of the No Hate Speech performance was sent to schools cooperating with partner organizations. Moreover, the participants made an artistic, intercultural collage. which is currently presented at the Animator art school in Gliwice.5. As part of numerous exercises and discussions, there was an exchange of participants' personal experiences related to the subject of refugees and migrants, both in a positive and negative aspect.6. By disseminating the results of the project as part of the exhibition, sharing the art script, running a website and information on social media, a dialogue is promoted between representatives of different cultures, traditions and religions.7. The participants committed themselves to further cooperation to achieve the objectives of the project and going beyond them. As part of the project activities, the WaaH (We are all Human) initiative group was set up to plan the implementation of further projects. The group, represented by the Polish part of the team, was admitted to the Silesian Cluster of Social and Cultural Services ""KUSiK"".Goals related to Eramus + goals1. It was possible to establish contact and intercultural cooperation in the context of promoting tolerance.2. The level of key competences of the participants was raised, in particular communication in foreign languages, social and civic competences, cultural awareness and expression.3. Social integration and solidarity were initiated both within and between individual groups."
