"<< Objectives >>Discrimination in all its diverse forms still is nowadays as it was in the past one of the most important challenges for modern European societies. In our time, accept the European challenge ""United in diversity"" is more and more difficult. Generally, discrimination is a growing phenomena all around the world, discrimination because of the origins, age, culture, religion, gender, skin color, and even the school they visited and the district they live in. Discrimination often translates into fewer chances for personal development, weakened self-confidence and as a consequence into limited opportunities for employment. The phenomenon of religious discrimination constitutes a common form of intolerance tainting contemporary European reality today. It is evident in the public sphere such as in policies, laws and court judgements but also in the private sphere such as in employment and education. In their everyday life, many members of religious or belief communities face discrimination based on their religion or belief. They are unduly restricted in the enjoyment of their civil, cultural, economic, political and social rights. As such, members of certain religious or belief communities suffer discrimination in their access to public education, health services or public posts. In extreme cases, some of them are also arrested or killed due to their religious affiliation.Religious discrimination is a rising phenomenon in Europe today and often placed youth at the epicenter. Moreover, young people are often at the forefront of religious discrimination in all its forms either as victims, bystanders or perpetrators and must thus be empowered to remove themselves from such frameworks as victims or perpetrators and in all cases take an active stance against it.What can be done by young people to tackle the issue among their peers as well as older generations, and how can we raise the levels of understanding about different races and religions, communities and cultures. In this light, through this project we want to educate participants to be able to separate religion and the rights of religious groups from any other phenomena that are tainting today's world and also to inspire and empower them to take an active stance against religious discrimination as the participating organisations believe that youth plays a big role to this end.Main aim is to explore the issue of religious discrimination and consider ways in which young people can play an active stance in combating it. We, as young people through this project we are strive to address the issue of religious discrimination and place youth at the epicentre of the change that is required to ensure a democratic and tolerant Europe. The objectives of the YE:- to enable participants to explore the phenomenon of religious discrimination- gain the ability to recognise discrimination, stereotypes and prejudices directed against particular religious groups- understand the role of youth in combating religious discrimination and acquire the skills, knowledge and confidence to challenge such phenomena within their own communities and organizations- to promote youth cooperation at an international level and minimize discrimination- to build understanding and respect between participants from different religious backgrounds and promote cooperation- to enhance the knowledge and inform about the different types of traditions and customs in different religions and minimize fear- to equip participants with the first knowledge and experience to organize future Erasmus+ projects about interfaith and intercultural dialogue;<< Activities >>Main activities (project phases) that we will implement once the project is approved are following:1) APV – 2 working days + 2 days for travel. Each partner will send one representative (group leader), person who will be group leader during exchange.Planed dates: 10 - 13 December 2020 including travel days.Place: Topola, SerbiaNumber of participants: 8Country involved: Germany, Serbia, Norway, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Turkey, Slovakia The APV is planned to happen a month before the activity starts to see the place where the youth exchange will be developed, to prepare in details the program of each daily activity, to share the roles within leader team, to discus about proposal about modifying the program, discussion about the venue, technicalities and special consideration, agreement about the preparation of the participants, about rules, to make plan for dissemination.Partner organizations are selecting participants and preparing them for the training, giving information about travel, technicalities and main themes. Meanwhile, hosting organization cares about proper accommodation, prepares materials and travel information in-country, and generally taking care of project management. Coordination of communication among experts and support staff is done mutually.2) Youth exchange - Realized in technical sense by applicant and partner organization. Running of workshops, facilitation and discussions are done by group leaders from partner organizations, including participants well prepared for active participation. The core activity of the project is – 7 days long Youth exchange. It will be organised in the Topola, Serbia, from 23th till 31th January 2021. (including travel days). Project will gather 40 participants, from 8 organisations and countries (Germany, Serbia, Norway, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Turkey, Slovakia). Each partner organisation will send 4 participants + one group leader. Young people who will participate in exchange as a leader and participants have different educational backgrounds and different support from our surroundings and different challenges and support from our local communities. We still act and fight for the same thing: to provide space and opportunity for young people to gain needed knowledge and go through competence development by participating in youth activities in order to find their places in the society and being included as important and equal members of local communities.Stop to religious discrimination is a Youth Exchange intended for young people who have the capability to transfer the gained experience and knowledge on other youngsters in their own organizations and community. But, this is also an opportunity for any youth members, or volunteers, who are interested in religious issues and would like to find out more, or become more active in dealing with this issues within their communities. The working methods are strictly non-formal. Some of the methods used are name games, human bingo, drawing, collage, role-playing, group work, brainstorming and debating, using of materials to create alternative methods of presenting, quizzes...etc....<< Impact >>When young people take part in a Youth Exchange they will be involved in preparing programme elements, they take part in the activity and will take up certain responsibilities. They get many new experiences from which they will probably learn a lot. By reflecting regularly on their personal learning during the exchange, they become more aware of their own learning. That will also enable them to recognise their learning potential. The project aims to have an impact on all the young participants which, through the exchange of experiences, can enrich their knowledge and know other points of view. This youth exchange will help young people from different religious backgrounds to understand each other, to face each other differences, values and beliefs, to accept them, to build good interfaith and form friendships. Participants will represent their countries’ religious background and inform others about their values, customs and beliefs. They will analyze and discuss the changes that religion has undergone till today and the conflicts that may have appeared (eg. between generations, tolerance in other religions, migration etc.). The participants will raise their awareness of the different religions and understand the role of religion nowadays.Group leaders will improve their leadership skills, especially when it comes to facilitating skills, acquired through the workshops that they will work on during this exchange. At the end of Exchange we expect that participants will create several Comics, Exchange newspaper, video which we will use to disseminate and our results."

<< Objectives >>Need for the project is shaped mainly by challenges partners observe in their local communities. Growing social diversity in Europe (shaped by the refugee and migration crisis, as well as by the economic crisis Europe is facing last years) is combined with xenophobia and growing nationalism, especially among young generation in Europe. This situation creates a need for NGOs to actively involve in actions promoting diversity and social inclusion. In order to do so, we need specific knowledge and working methods. The project consists of two activities – seminar and a training course. They are both designed to meet needs of partner organisations (and their members – project participants), diagnosed at the initial stage of the project. The main objective of the seminar, first activity of the project, is to equip partners with complex knowledge about diversity and social inclusion of minority groups in Europe, situation of young people in Europe in general, problems and situation of young migrants and refugees, and about strategic importance of social inclusion for European society. The seminar will also provide space for exchange of good practices, networking, and planning future activities in international cooperation. As a result of the training course participants (and their organisations) will be equipped with practical tools of working with minority groups and young people in general, using theatre related methodology (mainly, but not exclusively, forum theatre). The training course will be oriented on practical tools of youth work. Participants will exchange, learn and use in practice theatre related methods of youth work, learn about methodology of forum theatre, and link those methods to problems and issues diagnosed before.<< Activities >>The project consists of two activities – seminar and training course. The seminar will be held in Braga, Portugal, in August 22nd-29th 2019. The training course will be implemented also in Braga, Portugal, from 28th of November till 6th of December 2019 (including travel days on both). The project gathers 11 youth organisations from 11 different European countries (Portugal, Poland, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia, Lithuania, Romania, and Spain) and foresees in total 65 mobilities of youth workers (for both project activities). Participants of the project will be workers, co-workers, volunteers and local leader from partner organisations, engaged in their activities at a local level. Project methodology will be mostly based on “learning by doing” principle and based on non-formal education methodology. During the seminar we will use mainly presentations, discussion, working in groups, analysis of documents, meetings with guests and experts, and theatre related methods (also for ice-breakers, energisers, and team building). The training course will be run mainly using non-formal, learner oriented and theatre related methods. We will base mainly on theatre related methodology, supported by presentations and active non-formal methods of exchanging ideas, experience, and knowledge. Such attitude to the learning process will enable engagement of all participants and provide them with space not only to learn, but also to share their competences with others<< Impact >>As the project is designed to provide new competences to direct participants, they are expected to be the group that is influenced by the project the most. Through acquiring new competences by them, also capacities of partner organisations will grow, which in turn will affect young people in their local communities, especially young refugees and migrants, whose problems are at the core of the project.Participants – group of members and co-workers of partner organisations will acquire new competences related to supporting and working with groups of socially excluded youth using theatre related methodology (including forum theatre method). Through acquiring of new tools of youth work and better understanding of situation of young people in Europe in general, and also by changing (or strengthening their attitudes) they will be ready to implement new activities on local, regional, and European levels. As the project will consist of two activities, seminar, more oriented on knowledge and exchange of experience and good practices, and very practical in its shape training course, impact on participants will be multidimensional. We expect it to be slightly different for participants from different social realities (for example different experience of the migration crisis between participants from for example Poland and Greece), but as a result we expect to create a group of highly trained and motivated youth workers, able (and willing to) to work as a group and cooperate internationally to solve problems of young people in Europe.

Secret Library is a youth exchange project that pursued the goal of making national legends more valuable among the modern technical-minded society. Every country has its own stories, eposes, that, basically, describe national history in some kind of artistic way. That means it indeed is a good possibility for one to immerse into a completely unknown origin without the necessity of reading traditional info-sources. But, unfortunately, modern generations, especially young people, tend to forget these simple basics.Secret Library took place in the city of Tallinn, Estonia, during the March 2015 from 12th to 21th. 35 youngsters from all over the Europe - Estonia, Croatia, France, Lithuania, Hungary, Spain and Macedonia - who lack international experience and are eager for new discoveries spent 10 days together trying to get to know other cultures through long forgotten way - storytelling. Project gathered different type of people, starting off with those, who have no experience, and those, who have already gotten a chance to participate in such projects, with youngsters who have some kind of social difficulties. This atmosphere underlined one of the very main principles of European Unity, which is equality among the people. Due to the programme saturated with all kinds of activities that imply interaction with others, project diminished passive listening and boredom by itself. Group discussions, workshops, simulation exercises and role plays brought active communication and collaboration to the completely different level.By the end of the project, with all the stories presented by participants, we organised an event on international Storytelling day. People were invited to watch our presentation of results. It let us disseminate the outcomes of non-formal and informal education, as well as promote Erasmus+ programme with its priorities and objectives, to inspire guests and spread the word among the people. All things considered, Secret Library provided a ground needed for people to meet each other, heavily increase knowledge about European countries and its structures as well as improve own skills and overcome fears for better employability in the future.

<< Objectives >>Once we were working together with the consortium for us the first and most important thing was to share objectives we wanted to achieve with this project. Out of different researches made we understood that it was needed in our communities and at international level more updated and keeping the track of youth work methods and approaches with young people. The crisis of COVID-19 contributed to emphasize this lack in many organisations, in fact once we did our researches among international networks many of our organisations were in, local networks, other colleagues youth workers who suddenly found out the need to update digital tools, cause digital revolution is here and now. Even in the main objectives of Erasmus plus Programme in 2019 it was one of the main objectives to promote digital youth work, the creation of a Digital Framework of Competences and also a linked educational approach to be used by educators, youth workers, teachers and professors in their work it was a sign which was clearly pushing for that. All the organisations involved in this project identified something they developed by using digital tools, e-learning platforms examples, digital citizenship approach, virtual exchanges, debates and many other tied methods and we thought it would be nice to get together and share our practices to improve each other, create new ones and create concrete material/handouts which could be available for all youth workers who didn’t manage to update but especially for young people. Out of our research we made through the use of statistics and already existing researches we understood that internet is used by an high percentage of people, young people especially have it in their daily life, internet became a common good which is decreasing costs and it is more and more available for all the population. Most important thing since we knew all partners by doing digital activities what were the issues related to connection also for young disadvantaged people we face also the topic of digital divide and how to deal with connection problems and finding solutions to ensure the participation of every one. By digital tools anyway we believe that we managed also to reach more young people and provide them more opportunities of participation. Virtual Exchanges, debates are opening opportunities to youngsters who live in rural area, who face disadvantages and they are not motivated to participate in face to face activities. So, out of these needs we strongly believe that through our project we equiped more youth workers, organisations, teachers, institutions to improve their approach to young people with youth friendly instruments involving them in online debates in safe spaces. Moreover, we believe that consequently providing handouts, tool-kit is a source of improvement for any youngster who is involved in youth workers who will be using the materials created and the participation of young people will be increased.<< Implementation >>The project was based on non-formal education approach. The methods which were used were a variety of methods where the participants shared best practices from their previous experience, explored new digital tools and developed new ones. Participants met with mural.co, lino.com, mentimeter.com, zoom.us, apps for getting to know each other with games such as Part’Qs app, google suite and we explored e-learning with different platform such as moodle. We used also plenary debates, virtual exchange simulations, brainstormings, world cafe, silent floor, role plays, puzzle words, team building activities, group work, interactive games, ppt, SWOT, live polls, live brainstorming online and many others. Project gathered 33 participants, out of them 2 facilitators and 1 support staff. Seminar was sharing best practices on digital tools for youth workers, educators and young activists that directly work with e-learing and digital tool.PROFILE OF PARTICIPANTS So the main criteria as target group of participants we had foreseen were youth workers: - Over 20 years old counting the fact that youth workers needs some experience, especially in a seminar for exchanging good practices, if there was some significant exception it could be evaluated.- Be committed and motivated and able to participate to all the activities of the project (Preparation meetings, Seminar in Nitra, Dissemination activities) - Members of organizations involved who are interested to bring improvements in youthwork and in their daily work too; - Youth workers who have developed workshops with digital tools and work usually with young people with fewer opportunities - Capable of communicating and working in English. - Ready to share good practices<< Results >>Project resulted with:- Toolkit with online tools that can be used in youth work - video tutorials- 30 youth workers who were impacted, plus 2 facilitators and one support staff for a total of 33 youth workers from 10 different countries- participants explored Erasmus plus Virtual Exchange Platform and find out more about Virtual Exchange and Digital citizenship- 1webinar for each participating country about digital tools and its usage in youth work also for teachers (in Zoom) Expected reach: 30 youth workers, 10 teachers, 10 professors, 10 organisations and 5 youth centers for a total of 300 youth workers involved, 100 teachers, 100 professors, 100 organisations, 50 youth centers and much more. We expected to provide competences and we created space for professional and personal improvement on daily work with young people. Seminar stimulated youth workers involved to bring even more innovation and turn the feedbacks and the new methods they gained into something even with higher quality by using that in their workshops and activities with young people. Ten participating NGOs with different background and experiences shared best practices and each NGO gained new methods and partners, new contacts and ability to create more innovative projects and activities for young people.
