Moreover, our association ensures that young people become active in decision-making mechanisms and also carry out work to develop democratic awareness. In addition to this, particularly upon the informing youth, Culture-Art, Environment, Employment and Education working groups have been established to contribute to the city's life. Our association, which has a multipurpose activity hall and all kinds of technical facilities, conducts joint projects with different nongovernmental organizations in regional and international projects in order to encourage young people's active citizenship in general and to promote tolerance and solidarity among young people. In this context, by planning to reduce the problems of the blood patients and children in the health field, many activities will be carried with EVS volunteers and local volunteers in order to draw attention to them with awareness studies and to solve the problems. Blood diseases are very common in our city and region and there are many blood diseases such as leukaemia, Thalassemia, sickle cell anaemia and iron deficiency anaemia. Some of these can be removed altogether by community education, and others can be healed with proper treatment.Within this project, our local volunteers and other volunteers who will come to our city within the scope of the project will provide community awareness by acting together and will carry out awareness studies and blood donation activities. And they will organise social activities and visits for patients and their families. They will perform activities to increase their motivation to disadvantaged groups. We also organize various courses and trainings at the association and provide the youth with trainings in this regard. With local volunteers and other volunteers to come within the scope of the project, we will ensure that many social activities take place. In our project, we will have 2 volunteers for 6 months and 4 volunteers will come in total.

It aims to open access to job-related internships and workplacements abroad in particular for less advanteged vocational trainees in order to improve their chances of placement in the German and European labor market. The starting initial point was the the finding, that especially among young people in rural regions there exist widespread prejudices exist against leaving the traditional living environment, and that it requires additional efforts to encourage this target group for the participation in trans-national mobility projects. This is particularly true for young people from social disadvantaged groups and with a migration background, who often provide only little international experience before. The beneficiaries undertake their vocational training either in a full-time school programm or in dual vocational training. They are 16 to 22 years old and working in professional fields in which international experience is in many cases already seen as a condition for employment, such as in the service-sector (hotel and catering, office communications), business-management and creative professions, like IT- and media-design.By work-related stays abroad they should get the opportunity to develop their intercultural competence, understood perceived as the ability to act to communicate in a foreign cultural environment efficiently and goal-oriented. In addition to work placements, the project offers the possibility, to promote in particular job-related language skills and to work in training and employment-related ""European Vocational Skills Training” projects. The goal of these EVST-projects is, to be able to prove the acquisition of professional skills be even when if a direct participation in a work placement a direct participation in working processes within an internship is restricted or the area of operation does not fully matach the qualifications profile of the beneficiary. In order to agree on learning objectives and contents of the internships abroad, the participants receive access to an online database (www.evst-mobility.eu). The goal of the EVST process is to motivate the beneficiaries in a dialogue process for the active participation in the arrangement of their stay abroad in order to increase their responsibility for the learning process and to optimize the subsequent documentation of learning achievements.Cooperation partners are chambers of industry, trade and crafts as well as vocational schools from different regions of Germany and receiving partner-institutions in Denmark, England, France, Ireland, Poland and Spain .A total of 150 mobility grants are applied for, distributedt as follows in different activities:Four-week stays abroad for vocational-trainees in the dual system and in full-time training courses (50 scholarships each). In addition, the project offers eight-week internships, which are designed for trainees in full-time training, who are able to complete their prescribed compulsory internships abroad (20 scholarships) and 24-week work-placements for graduates of vocational training, who are not taken in an employment after their final examination (15 scholarships).Further more one-week training courses will be offered to teachers from vocational schools, training .centres and HR professionals in training companies. They should inform themselves abroad on European trends abroad and also experience the organization and implementation of mobility projects in practice. They should thus become multipliers, able to inform and to advise trainees in their institutions about the added value of an internship abroad (15 scholarships). The project aims to improve the employability in particular for less-advanteged young people from rural regions, where due to the often extensively limited job offer mobility is an important prerequisite for a successful placement in the labor market.Similary this project intends to contribute to the regional and international networking of actors of general and vocational education and training in order to provide a better access to international mobility activities, particularly for young people from social disadvantaged groups. In addition it is intention striven for ato promotion ofe a positive image of Europe in the target groups: More than 80% of the ruturneesm express after their return, that they could imagine to live and to work in other European countries in the course of their further career due to the gained experiences within their internships abroad."

The project was implemented in Murter from 16th of September till 16th of October 2017. The project gathered 15 youngsters from 5 European countries: Italy, Spain, Turkey, Bulgaria, and Poland. Volunteers were selected by hosting and sending organization through the selection process in relation to the interests that were relevant for this project. The volunteers spent their service maintaining the tasks connected with the archaeological site Colentum, in order to find its objectives: to improve knowledge and raise awareness about values of cultural/archaeological heritage as common European value and its potential in terms of sustainable development of rural communities, to make the voluntary work and benefits more visible to the community, and inform youth of the different opportunities of Erasmus+Programme. Through one month, volunteers were renewing dry stone walls on the archaeological site of Colentum, excavating around the Roman villa rustica, cleaning the area of the archaeological site of Colentum from bushes, creating the puppet theatre show on the theme of Colentum and promoting the site and Erasmus+ Programme. All these activities increased the value of the archaeological site and helped in its valorization. With their activities and gained knowledge about Colentum, volunteers helped in improving the Strategic Action Plan for the development of the archaeological site Colentum. The aims of project activity were to encourage participation of young people in sustainable development, to motivate local/regional young people for active participation in order to ensure them working place (in the community- based local business) and to raise awareness about local resources that are still not recognized as economic development factors. We also presented EVS and Erasmus+ programme as an efficient tool for development of European common interest such as cultural heritage. All involved parties had the effort from this project, starting from the volunteers which benefited in personal, professional, and social development, then local community which received a help in the sustainable development of the community, as well as partner organizations (sending and hosting) which established strong relations in the civil sector.
