"CYBER STYLER - DIGITAL CREATIVITY TO CREATE & CONNECT joins 60 young people from six nations to explore, understand and conquer the digital world, the ""real"" world and their intersections. In the search for connesctions, young people transform their ideas, carry them to each other, and realise them with the help of traditional and digital media and their own creativity - which every person has in themselves.CYBER STYLER strongly opposes to the division of society. Embodying the CREATE & CONNECT subtitle, the project helps us to bring together people and their ideas in a creative way without beeing careless about our personal data on the internet.Within the intercultural workshops, young people have the opportunity to acquire and use creative competences in the areas of video and sound recording, photography, stop motion technology, professional use of social networks and communication facilities via various internet platforms. Young people choose workshops based on their interests. The activities and workshops are:Audio book, lightpainting, photography, social media, comics, calligraphy, flash mob, theatre, film, documentation, stop motion. In addition to the workshops, there will be daily intercultural teambuilding phases with cultural pedagogical methods to bring together the individual national groups and stimulate intercultural dialogue - to counteract intolerance. The key competences acquired in the intercultural units and interaction-pedagogical phases (such as language competence, applicational competence, method-competence, self-competence and social competence) strengthen the young people and expand their chances, for example, on the labour market. Especially those with social needs can profit from this set-up.CYBERSTYLER uses the possibilities of the city of Wiesbaden and of the Wellritzstrasse. It is a cooperation project with municipal and non-profit organizations. The project is being carried out in the rooms of the arco-forum and the Georg-Buch-Haus. CYBER STYLER stands for the unlimited potential of a group which is able to connect to one another beyond national, biographical or ethnic boundaries, if ionly they are able to find what it is that is connecting them."

"The Training Course ""ACT"" was held in Vordingborg from 10th to 18th of November 2017. It has involved programme countries beneficiaries and 30 youth workers/leaders from 13 countries.ACT was a training course that aimed to support the professional development of young leaders/trainers and to raised the quality of their projects concerning active citizenship. We have approached the idea of citizenship on three different levels: locally, nationally and in the European context. The training course used methods of experiential learning as role plays, simulations and drama methods and group sharing methods as small and large group discussions. Together, the group was working out and improving ' method toolkit' on how to motivate youngsters for participation in their community and beyond. All over mission of the training course was to find the ways how to make the issue of citizenship attractive to the youth. ACT course took place in Vordingborg, Denmark during 7 working days with participation of 28 youth leaders from 13 different European Union countries. The project has influenced participants by motivating and inspiring them to make actions in their local society. We wanted to give our participants a chance to participate in a professional training contain necessary knowledge as well as opportunity to deeper discuss on the topic of European citizenship. It was also important to point out that one should begin from him/herself, and show – based on our project – how important is the real influence on local society. Steve Jobs said: ,, People who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world are the ones who do.´´- which was kind a leading thought for the course.Change in participants and willingness to create more projects in their local environments have been seen which is a direct impact multiplying effects – through the ACT project we were be able to get to wider group of young people and motivated them to reach out to even more."

"<< Objectives >>Over the past few years, our organization has been deeply focused on mental health, exploring various methods for personal and professional empowerment and self-development, with the goal of benefiting youth workers and youthThis new project is planned like follow-up, upgrade and continuation of the previous trainings ""Under pressure"" and ""Take a walk on the wild side"" like a unique and specialised path on mental health, through new and different tools and methods. The feedback from participants in our previous projects, as well as the deep learning outcomes, have motivated us to continue our work in this area. The recent data coming from diffrent observatories on mental health in Europe reports that the pandemic has led to increased rates of depression, anxiety, loneliness, and suicide attempts among youth (20-25%). These numbers are likely an underestimate, as many young people hide their feelings and internalize their struggles, making them difficult to observe. We feel the need to work on mental health because it represents a common concern for us and our partners, and also a serious European concern. We strongly believe that Youth work could have a key-role in preventing, monitoring and providing tools for youth mental health. We will work with Youth workers empowering their competences with new methods and tools to have impact in youth lives and development. Our aim is to empower young people to recognize and express their feelings, vulnerabilities, and potential for coping with unexpected situations of life. For this reason, in these weak times, we have chosen to center our program for youth workers around a strong referring point, based on archetypes, to show that daily obstacles and difficulties are part of the story of mankind from all the times and history, in a ""continuum"" till now.We chose to work on the healing metaphors of ""Hero's journey"", developed by James Campbell. The TC will follow the Hero's Journey structure, divided in 4 stages: Departure, Intiation, Transformation, Return. Each day we will propose activities challenging participants in a path of self-discovery, facing their fears in a transformative metaphoric journey to embrace their identity, recognizing their talents and potential, empowering their resilience and their emotional skills. To achieve our objectives, we will use a variety of methods and tools, including psychological activities (such as Transactional Analysis and empathetic communication), archetypes (Tarots, and Hero's journey) as creative self-discovery activities like creative writing and storytelling. The main objectives are:1. Empower youth worker competencies by providing them with psychological and creative approaches to mental health, especially on a relational level, to support young people facing mental health challenges;2. Develop meaningful insights to nourish resilience through the metaphors of Hero's journey in a transformatve process of change and of free expression of the inner potential;3. Provide tools and methods for facing and embracing vulnerability and crisis, empowering the capacity to cope with unexpected situations;4. Improve the quality of youth work by providing participants with space to reflect on their role as emotional support for young people and to reflect on their own experiences with crisis and resilience;5. Strengthen participants and organizational competencies in international youth work and cooperation;6. Enhancing non-formal education methods and promoting recognition of NFE learning.<< Implementation >>""I'm the captain of my soul"" is a self-discovery and self-empowerment training designed for youth workers. The program offers an inner journey to unlock inner potentialities, overcome fears, irrational beliefs, and cognitive distortions, and promote self-empowerment. It aims to equip participants with the tools and skills to support the youth's resilience and self-care.Following the framework of the ""Hero's Journey"" by James Campbell, the program uses powerful healing metaphors to explore life events that challenge and transform us. The program combines methods and tools from the fields of psychology (Transactional Analysis, empathic listening) and art and creativity (creative writing, photo talk, examples from artists' lives) to facilitate the journey. The program's methods are non-formal and based on direct experience of feelings and emotions. The program will incorporate archetypes and emotional expression through various tools and methods, including creative writing (Tarot stories, photo narration), eye-collection, stories from artists' lives, Transactional Analysis elements, empathic communication and active listening, outdoor activities, evaluation, self-assessment, and intercultural activities.AIMS OF EACH SESSION The more specific objectives divided by days, are:DAY 1: PRESENTATIONS: Arrival and getting to know + presentations.DAY 2: DEPARTURE OF JOURNEY: Team building presentation of the frame of Hero's journey, call to adventure and expectations and strenghts, investigate the fears of the journey.DAY 3: INITIATION - crossing the threshold: Making a step towards self-knowledge through my thoughts and behaviours (Transactional Analysis), Tarots activities of creative writing. Final reading of tales.DAY 4: TRANSFORMATION I: Experiential activity on negative self-talking - Examples and exercise on breaking the obstacles from Michelangelo's life and drawings. Cultural visit in Vinci.DAY 5: TRANSFORMATION II: Photo narration activity (creative writing starting from photos inputs) - Myths of transformation in Greek myths - Irrational beliefs and cognitive distortions: how to identify and change.DAY 6: REWARD: Compassion: New inner voices and new definition of me (individual and group support) - Journey: Identification with an hero statue in Florence, research onLine of his/her story/myth and written thoughts on similarities wth him/her.DAY 7: RETURN: The journey task: creation of a theatre show self-organised, as expression of talent and potential of everybody. Processes of self-decision, overcoming personal fears.DAY 8: FINAL EVALUATION: Follow up, eye collection, evaluation and self-evaluation (through photos, games and questionnaire).DAY 9 Departure.Every day will start with an opening done of energizers, reading of the words of the previous day reflection-groups reflections, and intro to the topic of the day.We will take care to create an environment as much as possible open and free in order to make feel participants safe and eager to fllow the path of change and overcoming fears. The focus will be on the individuals and at the same time on the support that the group will build to sustain the process of development. For this reason the first days will be very deep in creating bounds of trust and empathy in the group.Every day there will be a moment that we called ""The hero's thoughts"" done in a first moment in plenary (about insights, obstacles, mood perceived) and then in small groups (always the same for all the week. Each group will have every day a different tool to facilitate the evaluation of the day (Projective Blob test, drawigs, papers to fill, Dixit cards, and so on).Every morning the Trainers will read the adjectives that each group will have written to describe the day and the learnings of the day (in anonymos mode). We will have an an intermediate evaluation, followed by a brief discussion in group: useful to monitor the feelings and needs of the participants ongoing and having time to re-adapt the activities in case. The final evaluation with questionnaire, visual tools, photo comparison, and eye-collection, will provide us a clearer vision ofthe flowing of the TC.The program will take place in Vinci, Italy, from the 19th to 27th of September (travel included), 2023, and involves seven countries: Italy, Portugal, Ireland, Greece, Romania, Poland, and North Macedonia. << Objectives >>We want to achieve a comprehensive set of competencies for youth workers to develop competences as youth non-formal education trainers and as coaches by adding skills as graphic facilitators. In order to initiate a culture where the trainer who provides activities to develop competences is also enabled to coach participants after the training into implementing those competencies in their daily, professional and academic lives. This is achieved in a two-step training, the rationale behind it is, given the extent and size of competences to be developed, to allow consolidation time in between the training, initiating both a local and an international process of capacity building. That is one training for trainers on social inclusion through graphic facilitation tools, and creation of a non-formal education-based training with elements of graphic facilitation on social inclusion to be delivered in each local partner reality, where local participants will have to develop action plans concerning interventions on social inclusion, followed by an evaluation meeting and training for coaches, where participants upon returning to their reality will need to coach the local participants of their training on implementing the competences gained and follow-up on their action plan. Objectives: - To train youth workers to become trainers on social inclusion while also developing competencies of empowering with visuals, enabling them to locally implement training on social inclusion in their local reality.- To train the same group of youth workers, upon completion of the local training on social inclusion with a basic set of coaching competencies, and to work with the participants on the local training on social inclusion to develop their action plans.- To train young people to think visually (as a base for graphic facilitation) and to give them a how-to-use guide in youth work with a special focus on social inclusion- To observe, monitor, assess and evaluate both the residential international pieces of training for trainers and coaches and graphic facilitation, as well as the local actions, in order to provide empirical evidence and verifiable indicators of the efficacy of this formula, and its need to be further implemented and invested upon. << Activities >>What activities are planned for implementation? 1. Training for trainers on social inclusion with graphic facilitation and harvesting tools 2. Implementation of local pieces of training, delivered by participants, on social inclusion3. Training for coaches on social inclusion with graphic coaching tools4. Implementation of local coaching of the action plans created by local participants. Number of participants: in total 24 participants will attend two training courses. 2 trainers will be facilitating both training courses: Lorenzo Nava and Dorottya Túros. Two support staff from team MeOut will be present on both training courses and be responsible for all local logistical matters (tickets, reimbursement, mobility tool, photo taking, etc.) in Hungary.Dita Palascakova will be training only on the first training course, organized in Hungary.Marcus Vrecer will be facilitating only in the second training course. One support staff from Hungary will be helping in logistics during TCs in Hungary. In total, we will have 24 participants, 4 trainers, and 2 support staff.Profile: Youth Workers, youth educators, and mentors, active locally within the local partner organisations either as employees or volunteers. Working on social and inclusion and with either direct experience with marginalised groups of young people or with a personal background from those groups.<< Impact >>Two trainings implemented with the same group of youth workers, 3 months apart from one another. 24 youth workers trained to become trainers and coaches to apply both sets of competencies to work on the betterment of local social inclusion of young people processes and projects.24 youth workers will build up a personal visual vocabulary and tools to use them in practice and coachingMinimum 10 training modules on youth and social inclusion implemented locally reaching a minimum of 80 local youths at risk of social exclusion in each realityMinimum 40 local youths will be coached into implementing their social inclusion action plansMinimum 3 Erasmus+ Key Action 1 projects will multiply the results of this programme, and a minimum of 1 Long Term EU supported project will follow-up on the results. Minimum 1 Erasmus+ Key Action 2 project will be created. Participants will build strong friendships (they meet twice) and will start cooperating on a European level. The impact is foreseen: - The double training will equip participants, for the first time, with a mix of competences as graphic facilitators, trainers, and coaches, that will allow them to deliver strong training sessions, and to coach individually participants to accomplish their action plans and implement their competences.- Innovative non-formal education approaches to social inclusion will be delivered locally, and the foreseen action plans created as a result of this training will be supported, coached and monitored until implemented. - Youths from marginalised groups at risk of social exclusion will be reached out for and trained and coached to take action and ownership of their and their group’s future.- Mobility activities will multiply, providing the original target groups of the local training to participate, explore Europe and learn from their peers.
