All partners work with groups of young people, facing different obstacles with skills deficits, for example verbal skills, English language skills and public speaking, and negative social attitudes and stereotyping. Because of all the reasons mentioned above, partners want to guide young people throughout the process of empowerment and to involve them in all the phases of this project, also to make local community aware of youth exchange and to be its supporting structure, and to impact the local community by youth exchange. Project goal is to empower young people to have greater control over their lives through participation at the same time taking valued roles, addressing youth issues and influences other people. During the project implementation we want to offer to young people to develop skills(to improve their community engagement and community change through advocacy and activism), to increase their critical awareness (the ability to identify, analyse and share information and have deeper understanding of “how” and “why” of youth empowerment and community change) and to give them opportunities (actions to take to achieve sustainable community)Objectives:• Understand different styles of learning and raising knowledge about self-awareness and self-esteem. • To support youth advocacy and activism within youth empowerment as an outcome in which youth, as change actors gain the skills to impact own lives and lives of other young people and the communities as whole • To foster mutual understanding and inter- cultural learning, thus minimizing stereotypes and prejudices.• To discover new approaches in non-formal learning influencing youth participation.• To become aware of European community and to use opportunities of Erasmus + program as a tool for development of culture of youth participation.Partners hope and work for to provide supportive, positive environments for young people and opportunities to develop their capacities.Countries involved: Belgium, Spain, Serbia and Latvia. Number of participants – 6 persons per country (1 youth leader/worker + 5 young people including those with fewer opportunities) and 2 facilitators; 1 from Spanish and 1 from Serbian group, in total 26. Project and program are prepared to offer space for interaction of participants, sharing of ideas, avoiding passive listening, allow participants to contribute to the activities, ensure that participants have influence over decisions inside the whole project, and encourage them to reflect on European topics and to involve them in the construction of Europe.<< Activities >>The project consists from one mobility activity, a youth exchange to be implemented in Spain, Puente Genil, from 26th of October to 3rd of November 2020. The exchange will last for 7 days (excluding travel days). Number of participants – 6 persons per country (1 youth leader/worker + 5 young people including those with fewer opportunities) and 2 facilitators; 1 from Spanish and 1 from Serbian group, in total 26. Young people are mostly aged between 16 and 23 and youthleaders/workers/facilitators without age limit. Participants mostly will be young people with fewer opportunities who are facing economic, social and/or geographical obstacles. Some of them live in poverty, some never go abroad, some have low skills and low-confidence about their competences; they are facing exclusion and lack of opportunities, same with educational difficulties because they left school, , some are from rural or suburb areas or from isolated communities. Partners already have a group of young people with profile explained above, facing different obstacles with low skills level, for ex. verbal skills, public speaking, English language, etc and negative social attitudes and stereotyping. << Impact >>Learning outcomes – participants will be able to demonstrate improved skills, to express critical thinking about issues in community; to understand more youth participation, cultural diversity and gender equality issues, to use multimedia and art tools for turning attention on youth issues, to work better individually and in the teams. Also: International learning and knowledge propels students towards acceptance and understanding of an array of different cultural and community perspectives; Language acquisition is achieved through practical exercise.Awareness and adoption of alternative, multi-faceted approaches to learning. Analytical and problem solving skills. Enhanced interest in global issues as well as a broader general knowledge.Self-development and awareness leading to enhanced self-confidence and self-esteem. Social poise, fueled by the necessity to confront challenges outside a familiar support network and comfort zone. A tremendous sense of accomplishment upon completion encourages participants to develop independent opinions, make informed decisions and strive to attain fresh goals.Partners will offer the possibility to direct politicians in local communities (mainly in host community) to problems young people face in their communities. This will help linking the policy to the local community level – an approach that might have direct positive results for young people including those with fewer opportunities. Impact on the development of youth work and organisations working in youth field it is important to make a distinction between two : Belgium that have strong youth work structures, and other countries involved int eh project Spain, Latvia and Serbia where the Erasmus+ YiA is the main funding opportunity for youth work, especially in the international sphere. The importance of NFE is now more accepted, and often better frameworks exist to document and recognize the qualifications, which grow from NFE in all countries involved in the project. Expected impact on the participantsYoung people will grow on the personal and professional level (raising their self confidence and self esteem, to manage things by themselves, to be more responsible, and more aware of causes and consequences, opportunities..They will make new friends and through that raise the awareness of belonging to a group ( maybe the first time for some of the participants)They will better understand active citizenship, solidarity and tolerance;Participants will break stereotypes, prejudices and discrimination among them through discussions and group activitiesThey will raise awareness on common European culture, by breaking up national divisions and by searching for universal valuesYoung people will raise the awareness on European Citizenship (strengthen feeling of belonging of society of Europe as a whole);Partners are linked to national and international networks and will promote the use of project results in a wide number of occasions. At national and European levels projects like this one will contribute to feeding policy development and have an impact on education, training and youth in countries involved in the project. The expected European impact is that the project will be promoted, taken over by other social actors and youth educators and applied in other social and geographical contexts across Europe.

We found these reasons for this evident problem: luck of jobs, gap between education and job market, luck of skills needed for the work, employers prefer to employ experienced staff, expectations of young people, lack of appropriate qualifications and career information, rise in retirement age, employment legislation, poor vocational options, workfare, etc. Observing core of the problem we found out that education and world of work meet here in the most direct and visible way. Young people who leave school early are exposed to numerous risks and have poor perspectives in terms of personal achievements, progress and prosperity. Low educated young people are exposed to higher risks of unemployment, they often get low-paying jobs and are exposed to conditions of social exclusion. Project dates: 01/10/2018 to 30/09/2019. Project consists of Kick off meeting (Montenegro), Training of Youth Workers (BIH), Testing the technique, Making research and reporting, Youth Exchange (Serbia), Booklet, Local initiatives, and Evaluation meeting (BIH).Project partners are from 6 European countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Croatia, Portugal, Montenegro and Serbia. Project aims to raise the quality of youth work by increasing the capacity of youth workers to support employability of young people, including those with fewer opportunities, through use of multimedia tools in the fields of soft skills and professional development. Objectives: - To provide a learning environment for youth workers to develop their competences for supporting learning of young people in youth work - To review and address essential competences for youth workers to offer young people, including those with fewer opportunities, innovative 3RE method to perform self-assessment, plan of education and development of soft skills;- To explore the potentials of multimedia on how to support many aspects of daily youth work;- To support young people to get empowered and to understand their position in the society and to take responsibility for their future;- To raise awareness of young people including those with fewer opportunities about EU community and to broaden sense of social values, to overcome prejudice against others in different European context and breake stereotypes; - To promote Erasmus+ Youth programme as a tool for supporting employability of youth, including those with fewer opportunities, at European level. Need for this project can be recognized in the European youth policy that is presented in The EU Strategy for Youth. It is also in relation with Europe 2020 strategy calls for the development of knowledge, skills and competences for achieving economic growth and employment and initiatives ‘Youth on the Move’ and ‘Agenda for new skills and jobs’.

Vocational and technical skills are essential, but employers are seeking applicants with more. They want employees who can continue to learn and adapt; read, write and compute competently; listen and communicate effectively; think creatively; solve problems independently; manage themselves at work; interact with co-workers; work in teams or groups; handle basic technology, lead effectively as well as follow supervision. These core skills for employability are both important to employers’ recruitment and enhance an individual’s ability to secure a job, retain employment and move flexibly in the labor market as well as engage in lifelong learning. This project is designed to guide participants through the key issues in identifying the relevant core skills for employability, understanding their importance and ways these skills can be delivered, attained and recognized. Generally, education improves a young person’s chances of securing a better quality job, and increases his/her productivity and income. In countries involved in this project, for example, unemployment among young people aged 20–24 who have completed upper secondary education is reduced by 7.4 percentage points. Still, the youth unemployment situation in 2018 is for most of involved countries under EU rate (15.1%): Spain 33.2% (second place after Greece), Serbia 25,3%, Turkey 22.3% and Romania 16.8%. Just Poland is under EU rate with 10.9% (Statista 2019). Aim on short term is to create a common language around skills for young people - one that young people can take ownership of, grow and develop through education, programmes and beyond (related to involved NGOs), and on medium and long term to enable young people to have increased awareness of their skills, strengths, achievements, and what they are aiming for (related to participants and target group). The objectives are:1.To raise awareness about the common European problem of youth unemployment by exploring its roots and challenges as well as the social, political and economic consequences of it on our societies2.To increase participants’ knowledge and skills in order to boost their employment, practical and transversal skills that can ultimately lead towards employment or starting their own business.3.To foster sustainable international cooperation and networks, capacity and partnership building in the youth field working with youth unemployment, employability and entrepreneurship4.To promote Erasmus+ Programme as platform and Youthpass as recognition tool for non-formal and informal learning as important processes for getting new skills that boost employability.<< Activities >>Participants should come from local communities, members or not of the associations involved. We will focus on participants coming from different social, economical and geographical backgrounds. In this way we will include youngsters who normally don’t afford to travel, youngsters from surrounding villages, youngsters without experience, youngsters who really look for future job orientation and strong motivated. Participants should be able to take part in all stages of the project. We will include pupils from local high schools, students or youngsters with no occupation. At least one of participant of each team should be youngster with fewer opportunities; in the selection process we will give priority to this category but also to youngsters who come from a village, youngsters on first participation in a youth exchange. 25 participants selected will be between 16 to 25 years old. Speaking English is not a request so we will encourage all youngsters to take part even if they don’t know the officially language of the project. << Impact >>Participation in community life has been found to break down barriers to employment, while building confidence, building careers, and building community for its members. Opportunities such as this project delivered through non-formal methods are an avenue through which participants can gain skills, explore career paths, develop social networks, and engage in challenging and meaningful tasks necessary to gain employment. At the participants level we see 3 main impacts: personal, vocational and community development. We envisage that this project will have an impact within each partner organisation. Partners can benefit from the participants skills and competences, which will help them to improve their capacity to effectively approach groups and individuals in the various marginalized, isolated and vulnerable communities that partner organisations engage with.Indirectly, the impact of the project will be transfer to local communities where participants are living. During the mobility we have planed several activities to ensure a local impact. Activities in local high schools and the meeting with the community from the last day will increase the local impact. As well, we have planned activities to have an impact also in the others local communities involved of our partners. Partners will enhance participants to think about future activities on local level. Partners together with participants will prepare a follow up agenda for implementing activities in local youth centers and local schools. On short-term, the impact we envisage will be to make community, with focus on decision factors, aware about youth unemployment rate on local community and on long-term to start to take visible measures to combat youth unemployment.

Training course as a main activity will be organized in town Sabac, Republic of Serbia and will be hosted by Udruzenje Svetlost. Training course will last 9 days.By this project we want to respond to problem of youth unemployment and to show in creative way the importance of growing requirement for high skilled jobs and how to connect youth with and world of work and with social business initiatives with a slight emphasis on the green jobs. Objectives: - to improve knowledge and skills in promotion of high skilled jobs, employability and connections with world of work of young people by using innovative tools: visual art, music and urban gardening- to explore and to increase the sense of initiative and entrepreneurship as well as integration of youth with fewer opportunities to be more active in the society- to raise awareness and contribution of youth to creation of a favorable environment for the development of social business with a slight emphasis on the green jobs- to develop young people's skills and to empower them in promotion and launch of new quality projects, both within the frame and outside of Erasmus + programme- to enhance inter-cultural awarenessThe fight against poverty and social exclusion are highlighted in the Europe 2020 strategy. Partner promoters continuously work on building a stronger relationship in the field of youth work among different organizations. Tools (visual art, music and urban gardening) are close to interests of young people to express their creativity with possibility to share it very easy with other youth. This could be an effective tool easily understandable and workshops will not only be focusing just on skills but on on fostering mutual understanding and changing the attitudes. While exploring the concept of social business we will also look for the ways how to activate and integrate youth with fewer opportunities in the community life and our successful outputs will be shared with different bodies and organizations for further use. The course methodology is built entirely on informal and non-formal methods. Also, visibility of Erasmus+ in South-East Europe will be increased. In the medium-term perspective the local communities of all partners will benefit in the increasing number of young people engaged in activities which promote high skilled education, entrepreneurship and integration of society’s most fragile members to contribute to the creation of a favorable environment for the development of social business with a slight emphasis on the green jobs. And in the long term perspective projects like this one will contribute to national and international policy reforms and will have a systematic impact on education, training and youth in the countries involved in the projects. Partner countries: Italy, Slovenia, Serbia, Bulgaria, FYR Macedonia, Albania, Poland, Portugal and Germany, 3 participants per country."

The EntreComp framework and the non-formal education are the pillars upon which this intervention will build capacities, inspire young people, raise awareness on the benefits and promote Youth Entrepreneurship through local and national stakeholders in the consortium. The concept of this project emerges from the actual need of young people, especially the disadvantaged ones that face many challenges in fields like education, employment or inclusion and eventually hinder them from reaching their full potential. Through this project we will give them practical tools on how to develop competencies at the individual level that can expand their possibilities and bring positive change in their life and the communities they live in.The objective of this project is to promote entrepreneurship as a competence and foster youth entrepreneurship education through the non-formal education methodology. While primary targeting youth, young people with fewer opportunities and youth workers, a high number of stakeholders will be engaged in the project implementation. The intellectual project outputs (research, manual, various visibility products) will guide, facilitate and promote youth entrepreneurship education within the project but also amplify the outcomes of the project in the long term. YEeS will provide an enabling space for youth to enrich their understanding and youth entrepreneurship, to discuss and share experiences with peers from other countries and develop methods tailored to their needs for knowledge acquisition. More than 1000 young people, youth workers and stakeholders from 5 countries will be engaged in this project.
