"Unemployment is a big challenge for Europe and neighboring countries. The unprecedented technological development and increased inter-dependence that the world is experiencing have not provided a solution to ones who are left outside the system, especially the young people with fewer opportunities who find it more and more difficult to meet the ever-changing labor market demands. This problem has been aggravated given the current context concerning young migrants, refugees and asylum seekers in Europe. The frustration and disempowerment of the disadvantaged youth in general and these young migrants and asylum seekers in particular can breed low self-esteem, low motivation, cynicism and radicalization.Within the framework of potential efforts and strategies to boost employment and job creation for young people, entrepreneurship is increasingly accepted as an important means and a valuable additional strategy to create jobs and improve livelihoods and economic independence of young people. It is an innovative approach for inclusion of young people with disadvantaged backgrounds, especially newly arrived migrants and refugees into society and today’s changing labour markets.Youth workers and youth leaders working directly with young unemployed people and disadvantaged youth among refugees/asylum seekers and migrants are uniquely positioned to inspire and empower youth to be creative, entrepreneurial and business minded through non-formal and informal activities and raise their self-confidence and enthusiasm which leads to promotion of entrepreneurial culture, higher awareness of personal empowerment and inclusion which, in its turn, prevents violent radicalization.32 youth workers and youth leaders from 4 countries (Hungary, Armenia, Georgia and Turkey) participated in the 10-day international training course ""Revitalizing Communities Through Youth Entrepreneurship"" which took place in Yerevan, Armenia from 2-11 April 2017.The international training course ""Revitalizing Communities Through Youth Entrepreneurship"" aimed to train and equip youth workers and youth leaders working directly with young unemployed people and disadvantaged youth from refugees/asylum seekers and migrants with essential entrepreneurial and business tools, methods and skills to enable them to contribute to tackling of the problem of unemployment among youth through quality youth work that promotes self-employment and entrepreneurial culture. The training course was based on non formal learning methods and principles, intercultural dialogue and communication including group discussions, interactive presentations, participant’s lead workshops, team work, etc. The methodology of the project stimulated active participation, sense of initiative and involvement of the learners. It aimed to create a learning space with better self-awareness and awareness of the needs and goals of the groups of young people they work with to enhance the results of the learning process and give birth to high quality projects led by the participants in the future. The project revealed the value of the Erasmus+ Programme as a tool for youth empowerment and raised awareness about Youthpass tool for supporting young people harness skills and personal growth through self-reflection and learning documentation. Objectives of the training course were:- Introduce youth entrepreneurship as a tool of fighting youth unemployment;- Support youth workers in developing and sharing effective methods in reaching out to marginalized young people, refugees, asylum seekers and migrants, and in preventing racism and intolerance among youth; - Learn to use youth work to empower youngsters to start their creative search for entrepreneurial opportunities; - Learn to use non-formal education to support current and future job-seekers to be pro-active and able to apply entrepreneurial approach into career development;- Explore ways for using youth work to bring alienated and marginalized youth back into the economic mainstream and giving them a sense of meaning and belonging; Helping address some of the socio-psychological problems and delinquency that arises from joblessness; - Learn to use Youthpass and the Key Competences to support young people through creative process of skill harnessing, self-reflection and documentation of the personal learning process;- Develop quality youth mobility projects to be applied under Erasmus+ Programme;- Transfer knowledge and skills by developing and publishing online the booklet “Promoting Entrepreneurship through Youth Work With Marginalized Young People, Refugees, Asylum Seekers and Migrants”"

‘Youth takes the Stage: Campaigning for Citizenship’ is an Erasmus+ (Mobility of youth workers) project aimed at developing youth workers’ competences in promoting active citizenship through youth-led campaigns using theatre methods. This project was submitted in February 2016 and received excellent scoring (84 points) but was placed on a reserve list due to lack of funding. We have now further improved it and resubmitting for October 2016 deadline. The project is composed of a series of three eight-day training courses to be held in three European regions: Eastern Europe (Tbilisi, Georgia, March 2017), South-East Europe (Tirana, Albania, May 2017) and the EU (Stroud, United Kingdom, July 2017). The main themes of the project are youth campaigning, active citizenship, creativity and theatre.Throughout all three courses, a non-formal education, participatory learning approach will be used, following principles of acting and being an active citizen, respecting individual knowledge and skills, enabling participants to co-facilitate the learning process, sharing creative ideas and information, using art and theatre to promote active European citizenship. The courses will be run by GTC’s expert team of theatre and youth work professionals and local experts from the UK, Georgia and Albania. All courses will also include site visits to local youth and cultural organisations. The project’s context/and origin are connected with GTC’s involvement in three regions: EU, South-East European countries and Eastern European and Caucasus Countries. We regularly implement projects on art and theatre in youth work in all three regions. Through this project, we would also like to raise awareness of active European citizenship issues among young people. Project will bring together 96 participants across three courses (32 per course). The objectives of the project are:- To train youth workers and youth leaders in using theatre tools and methods in promoting active citizenship through youth campaigning - To develop leadership and facilitation skills of youth workers- To exchange experience and good practice in active citizenship and youth campaigning tools and methods- To develop youth workers’ creativity and artistic skills- To increase the quality of European co-operation between youth organisations both within the Erasmus+ Programme as well as outside of itThis is a long-term, multi-measure project stretched over a year, and as such it will have a long-term impact on all partners in terms of increased capacity to work with theatre tools and to organise youth-led campaigns. It will also increase learners’ understanding of the Erasmus+/Youth Programme and lead to more international co-operation.

<< Objectives >>Sport activity has enormous potential of social inclusion thanks to its capacity to bring all the people together, regardless of age, gender or social origin. When an individual takes part in sports activities or sport methods they are involved in a multidimensional learning process. The most obvious dimension is of course the physical learning (how to run, jump, climb, maintain balance, co-ordination, etc.) however there are also a variety of social learning processes taking place (for example learning to be part of a team, to cooperate, to trust, fair-play and so on.) Compared to the physical side, the social learning dimensions are far more intangible and are harder to recognize. We as educators need to focus on this dimension because it is the social learning elements in sport that can directly respond to the social learning needs of young people. Participation in sport and active play brings a number of personal, societal and health benefits to young people, especially to those who are marginalized. Raising levels of activity and participation in sports not only improves health outcomes and reduces costs to health services and the wider economy, but can also contribute to a range of positive social outcomes including crime reduction, improved levels of wellbeing and mental health, increased educational attainment and more cohesive communities. The main aim of our project is to equip youth workers with knowledge and skills how to use sport and physical activity as a tool for increasing the active participation and inclusion of young people in society, with a focus on those with fewer opportunities. The objectives of the training are in brief:– To share our realities with the situations about inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities in our communities and different youth work programmes working on it– To discuss and understand basic concepts, values and principles of inclusion and intercultural learning– To promote and explore the concepts “sports for all” and “healthy lifestyle” in relation with youth work– To explore the youth work and youth trainings in connection to inclusion/acceptance and Sport for all!– To raise competences in organising quality youth work with sport methodology with adequate mental and physical development of beneficiaries, as well as competition and teamwork through sports– To share different sport methods useful for our youth work in every day work with youngsters mainstream and with fewer opportunities– To share and understand challenges in implementation of quality sport methods in youth work for inclusion and intercultural acceptance of young people with fewer opportunities– To raise competences for adaptation of sport methods for NFE/youth work for inclusion and acceptance of young people with fewer opportunities– To define and develop basic plans for local/national workshops of youth workers and youngsters with using sports as methods for inclusion, that are to be held by our participants in the follow-up phase after the training course– To establish Community of youth trainers and youth workers for youth sport work for inclusion<< Activities >>We intend to implement training that will take place at Cyprus and gather 30 participants from 7 different countries. In general, 'Sport it out Project' is designed for youth workers that: • are dedicated to working with young people with fewer opportunities in their local reality (working with orphans, refugees and migrants young people is desirable, but not necessary);• have the basic knowledge of facilitation of sport and outdoor based learning processes;• have a desire to apply their competences in developing new nonformal education tools that would increase the social inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities (orphans, refugees and migrant young people);• are supported by their respective organisations in applying their competencies and newly developed tools in working with young people with fewer opportunities.<< Impact >>Sport it out - training course is developed with main aim of our project is to equip youth workers with knowledge and skills how to use sport and physical activity as a tool for increasing the active participation and inclusion of young people in society, with a focus on those with fewer opportunities. Therefore youth workers that are going to participate will be directly influenced and empowered to change their daily routines in implementing activities. In specific, youth workers will be:- More diverse in implementing youth work activities, incorporating sport and outdoor activities as a part of their youth work toolbox- Be able to plan, execute and assess sport and outdoor based activities in work with young people in particular one with fewer opportunities- Become aware of advantages of sport and outdoor based activities for outreach of young people with fewer opportunities- Be informed about different youth work practices in relation to sport and outdoor based learning- Be in position to use own initiative and create new tools and methods for working with young people with fewer opportunities- Connected and networked with other youth workers active in the field of sport and outdoor activities- Be able to plan activities withing the framework of Erasmus + and Erasmus sport programsAdditionally, desired impact on local level is increased number of youth work multipliers that are using sport and outdoor activities in their daily work, what will automatically bring larger numbers of young people with more regular engagement with sport activities. It is expected that outreach of young people with fewer opportunities increase and that quality and overall satisfaction with quality of youth work delivery improve. On regional and national level it is expected that movement grass root sport initiatives and youth work practices will improve. That participants of training course will be in position to attend regional and national conferences and event to lobby and promote use of sport and outdoor activities as a necessary element of all youth work activities. Potential partnerships with schools and sportive association are to be discussed and initiated in order to better meet outreach and meet needs of young people with fewer opportunities. On European level it is expected that this training course will initiate network of youth work practitioners capable to initiate and design new sport and outdoor based learning tools and methodologies. Five young people with a group leader, 43 people altogether (the hungarian team are going to be 7 because of the lot of task during organising the exchange) arrive for our project from 7 countries (Hungary, Greece, Germany, Spain, Lithuania, Italy and Turkey). The aim of the project is to raise the media literacy of the participants and to evolve their media consciousness, media critical attitude. A further purpose is to establish an inner filtering system in the participants which supports them to filter and evaluate in an efficient and beneficial way the content and messages heaped upon them by the media and on-line world. Also, raising awareness in participants that choosing the information of themselves shared online is extremely important. The project is built on the needs of young people being associated with our foundation and it has been started for their initiative. The preparatory stage of the project consists of cooperation with partners, meetings and reconciliations. Our foundation designs close contact with partners in the selection of the participants so that such young people should arrive at the exchange who are really interested in the topic of the programme. In the stage of development participants are developed with non-formal methods; we assigned such activities to the desired aim of the project which help participants to develop their media literacy. In the final phase of the project reviews are analysed then the effectiveness of the project is measured, each carried out together with partners. The effect of the project is the establishment of the selected and critical media consumption of the individual’s awareness, which also has a multiplying impact on the environment of the participants. The widespread dissemination of the products of the project supports the results of the project and the diffusion of Erasmus +, for which activity our team designs live and viable activities.
