The implemented activities had been concentrated around working with children, youth, learning pedagogy and non-formal methods, creating a plan of work with children, engaging in social exclusion-threatening environments, conducting youth information workshops, promoting mobility projects, conducting lectures and events related to history and the cultural heritage of Lublin, human rights and equality of women.7 volunteers from Spain, Georgia, Germany and Azerbaijan participated in the project in 4 organizations from Lublin and Lublin's district. The activities of the EVS project lasted from 3 September 2015 until 7 November 2016.During the mobility process, volunteers based their actions on the project's assumptions and mission by integrating with the local community, promoting the values of adopting civic and European attitudes and by building openness, tolerance and respect for other cultures among the population. The result of the project was to develop specific skills and key competences of the participants, increasing their chances in the labor market in their origin countries. The experience, which they've gained showed a variety of possibilities for developing a career path in the hobbies of the volunteers as well as in the activities to which they demonstrated particular capabilities during mobility. The project also met with wide attention from local communities and local institutions about promoting multiculturalism and volunteering.

Sometimes it is also a cliché in some parts of the world. But overall, we still have a long road ahead of us.Our main aim in the project is to increase intercultural dialogue by using gender issues. We are planning to implement a multilateral youth exchange about gender issues: gender, family, roles in social life etc. We believe the importance of learning from each other rather than learning from books or media. We will use non formal education method in the project. At the end of the youth exchange we hope to promote dialogue among young people and break stereotypes and prejudices around gender among different cultures and religions.

In our four institutes we look after 160-180 people at a time. Two deals with families’ temporary homes and two are with homeless, night and day. We would like to involve volunteers from abroad to our running project, who on one hand would make social work supplementing social workers. On the other hand volunteers can work out substantive programs with activities customised. These can raise chances of our clients. In our project we would host 6 volunteers for a year long term who are over 22 and have a vocation on this field, have due enthusiasm, not necessary to have professional experience. Five partner-organisation would help our work. Tasks of volunteers are carried out with the help of their mentor based on a regular weekly and monthly monitoring and control. The program ensures professional and personal improvement for volunteers, and supports efficiency in our work of hosting organisation: various aspects on culture can develop the functioning of the institutes. And the projects, carried out independently make the territory more visible of the institutes. Finally, our task is to raise chances in social- and economic integration of disadvantage people; and task is to close up already come off social strata. On a short term efficiency we are expecting the problem to be known more by the people of the local society and face the being of the poorest parts of society. Our motto could be 'Dissimulation does not help'. Our project promotes corporate social responsibility on a long term run.

When we first started writing our project, we made a brain storm and found out that Addiction was one of the up-to-date problems for the young people. For that reason, we prepared our project and carried out the activities. In our project, we wanted to raise awareness in our society. Besides, we wanted to find the reasons of Addiction, types of addictions, solutions to stop addiction. In our activities, the participants worked on the steps of the young people to prevent addiction. Project Participants: There were 5 participants from Italy, 6 from Macedonia, 5 from Lithuania, 6 from Georgia, and 10 from Turkey. And at total there were 38 participants. The participants were between 18-25 years old mostly. And there wasn't age limit for group leaders. The participants were able to speak English to communicate. Description of the activities: All the participants took part in all activities actively. All the precautionary measures were taken by the project team. First of all, we were aiming to make all participants feel comfortable about taking part in the project. In order to ensure it, in the first day of the project we performed name-learning and warm-up activities. And in the following days we discussed and worked on the problem ‘addiction’ with different methods and activities. We focused especially on the concept ‘addiction, types and reasons of it and finally solutions for addictions. The project included many dissemination activities and new project ideas as well. Outdoor activities increased the visibility of the project. The brochure was the main outcome of this project. ’Methodology: Non-formal education methods, the inevitable part of the Youth Project, were mainly used in the project. So all the participants took role actively in each activity. There were many sessions which included workshops, group works, indoor and outdoor activities and evaluations. We saw that cultural nights were helpful for young people to learn more about new cultures. Results: The brochure was the main outcome of the project. This brochure, which was designed and created by the project participants, would be informative for all stakeholders. Thanks to project activities we made it possible for young participants both to develop their social and linguistic skills and to learn more about the problem addiction. Moreover they experienced and learned more about European Awareness and Active Citizenship. It raised awareness in the society. And in long term participants and stakeholders were motivated to create new projects.
