Project BUILD UP - Building up Competences, skills and knowledge abroad was new rules for us, because of the programme Erasmus+. It lasted in the period from 01.10. 2014 to 30.09.2015.The project planned 27 mobilities (22 students and 5 accompanying persons), which should get new working experiences through practical training in 5 different periods abroad. We implemented 5 different terms in three European countries, which means 32 students and 5 accompanying persons were abroad. 27 mobilities were estimated, but we carried out 37 mobilities. We cooperated with 5 different partner organizations from Spain, Finland (3x) and Austria. Because of the various circumstances we have replaced some partner organizations during the implementation phase. Despite the changes we met the objectives set of the project, which were: practical training, gaining practical work experiences in school workshops and companies, socializing with peers, communicating in a foreign language. Throughout the project we have managed to follow the principle of equitable distribution of mobilities in five units of the School Centre, as the exchanges attended by students of all educational programs in School Centre Nova Gorica.Project results were disseminated through various events in the School Centre (The day of opened door, The information day, parent's meetings, meeting Students communities, conferences for teachers, etc.), as well as during the visits of foreign delegations (coordinators and other professionals) and placement of foreign students. We are satisfied with practical training abroad, but we want to continue with the process of improvements (recognition of knowledge, quality of mobility, inclusion of teachers, evaluation of mobility in the various phases of the project).
