"<< Background >>Nous avons postulé pour cette troisième génération de projet ""EuroFormation - la mobilité accessible à tous"" pour combler le vide que nous avons découvert en travaillant avec nos partenaires locaux qui ne peuvent pas bénéficier de mobilité européenne. Soit parce qu'ils n'ont pas les moyens de monter un projet par eux-mêmes, soit parce qu'ils ne sont pas éligibles pour les autres consortiums, de la Région Occitanie par exemple. Il s'agit notamment des lycées professionnels et des Missions locales de notre Région voisine, Région Sud-PACA. Beaucoup d'établissements scolaires et de formation avec lesquels nous travaillons veulent proposer des parcours à l'étranger à leurs étudiants mais il leur manque les compétences, le savoir-faire technique et les partenaires à l'étranger pour les mettre en œuvre. Avec ce consortium nous avons voulu constituer une plateforme de coopération pour les enseignants (lycées professionnels), formateurs (Institut de formation IRFSS), et les conseillers (MLJ de la Région Sud-PACA). A travers des réunions régulières de consortium, nous partageons notre expérience et nos connaissances du programme Erasmus+ et contribuons ainsi au dynamisme territorial dans le but de renforcer la mobilité professionnelle.<< Objectives >>La Maion de l'Europe est considérée comme un centre de ressource pour la mobilité européenne, active dans le Corps européen de solidarité, le programme Erasmus jeunesse et l'Office franco-allemand de la jeunesse. A travers ce projet, nous avons voulu :- accroitre l'offre de mobilité européenne en terme de formation professionnelle;- consolider le partenariat local et européen et contribuer à une partage de connaissances;- élargir notre territoire d'intervention en intégrant des Missions locales jeunes du département Vaucluse dans le consortium- contribuer à créer un dynamique local en terme de mobilité européenne;- favoriser l'inclusion et mélange de public;- renforcer l'enseignement à la citoyenneté européenneEn tant que relais officiel des Institutions européennes - centre Europe Direct - nous voulions compléter notre offre de centre de ressource d''information européenne, d'animation scolaire et d'organisation d'évènements européen par des actions de mobilité européenne concrète pour un public jeune, plutôt éloigné des questions européennes. Cela rend l'Union européenne plus tangible.<< Implementation >>Nous avons réalisé 36 mobilités professionnelles Erasmus organisées en 6 flux sur 16 mois de février 2021 au juillet 2022 :- Flux 1 : 9 jeunes des MLJ Grand Avignon et MLJ du Comtat Venaissin, projet à Kalamata, Grèce en février-avril 2021;- Flux 2 : 6 jeunes du Lycée Hemingway, projet à Berlin, Allemagne en janvier-février 2022;- Flux 3: 2 jeunes de l'IRFSS Nîmes, projet à Frankfurt-sur-l'Oder, Allemagne en janvier-février 2022;- Flux 4: 1 jeune du Lycée Camus, projet à Szeged, Hongrie en mars-avril 2022;- Flux 5: 12 jeunes des MLJ Vaucluse, projet à Kalamata, Grèce en mai-juin 2022;- Flux 6: 6 jeunes de l'IRFSS Nîmes, projet à Frankfurt-sur-l'Oder, Allemagne en juin-juillet 2022;Une partie importante des activités de notre projet a été de développer l'inclusion de jeunes ayant moins d'opportunités et cibler de nouveaux partenariats, notamment la collaboration avec les Missions locales du Vaucluse et avec le lycée Albert Camus à Nîmes et l'intervention dans sa classe passerelle. Pour le public de ces établissements, il s'agissait souvent d'une première expérience à l'étranger. Nous avons également établi de nouveaux (par rapport à EuroFormation II) partenariats à l'étranger en Allemagne, Pologne, Hongrie, Italie et en Finlande. Nous avons même pu réaliser des mobilités avec les nouveaux partenaires à Berlin et à Szeged.Nous avions prévu des mobilités principalement dans les pays du groupe 2 et 3 et en effet, nous avons pu les réaliser: le 58% de nos mobilités ont eu lieu en Grèce et 39% en Allemagne (pays du groupe 2). Nous avons réussi à réaliser une mobilité en Hongrie (pays du groupe 3).Concernant le déroulement précis des activités de mobilité :- Pour chaque flux, nous avons réalisé des campagnes de communication diffusé auprès de nos publics cibles par le biais des structures membres du consortium pour que ceux-ci puissent commencer la présélection des participant.e.s.- Parallèlement, nous avons organisées des sessions d’information sur la mobilité européenne comme nous le faisons d'ores et déjà régulièrement auprès des jeunes (Nîmes agglomération et Alès agglomération) pour promouvoir la mobilité dans le cadre de la formation professionnelle.- Les participant.e.s ont été sélectionné.e.s 2 à 3 mois en amont de la mobilité (Missions locales: sélection 2 mois en amont de chaque mobilité; les jeunes des lycées: 3 mois avant pour les accompagner dans la durée de leur année scolaire).- Les sélections se sont effectuées conjointement. Après une présélection par les membres du consortium, nous avons réuni le groupe de candidat.e.s pour des entretiens collectifs (centrés sur motivation et niveau en langue pour mieux identifier leurs besoins).- Une fois les participants sélectionnés, nous avons organisé des ateliers de préparation (voir ci-dessus préparation des participant.e.s). - Tous les partenaires: intermédiaires, d’accueil, d'envoie et nous aussi, ont effectué des évaluations à mi-parcours avec les participant.e.s afin d’évaluer leur intégration et l’évolution de leur apprentissage (en présentiel ou sur zoom, par téléphone, etc).- Au retour des participant.e.s de chaque flux, nous avons effectué des réunions de bilan en présence des jeunes et des partenaires locaux. Lors de ces réunions, nous avons évalué l’expérience des participant.e.s dans son ensemble. Nous avons abordé l’évolution de leurs compétences ainsi que leur niveau de connaissance dans les langues apprises par le biais du test d’évaluation de la plateforme OLS. Nous avons également réalisés des cérémonies de remis des certificats Europass pour mettre en valeur leur expérience et promouvoir les projets Erasmus. Nous avons toujours invité la presse locale et les bénévoles de notre association pour donner aux cérémonies une valeur officiel, mais aussi associatif et intergénérationnelle.<< Results >>Grâce au consortium, nous avons pu réalisé 36 mobilités pour un public très hétérogène, allant de lycéens au jeunes en insertion professionnelle inscrit.e.s aux Missions locales, en passant par des apprentis et des jeunes de la classe passerelle du lycée Camus. Le projet a été fortement impacté par la Covid-19. Notamment les lycées étaient très réservés à envoyer leurs jeunes à l'étranger fin 2020 et en 2021. La mobilité des élèves du lycée Jaques Prévert a dû être annulée à cause des difficultés du partenaire pour confirmer les stages en raison de la situation sanitaire compliquée en Allemagne à cette époque. Nous avons donc utilisé plus de mobilités qu'initialement prévus pour les jeunes des Missions locales qui, eux, souhaitaient réaliser la mobilité à l'étranger malgré la pandémie. Les gestes sanitaires en vigueur dans le pays d'accueil ont toujours été strictement respectés. Nous avons également pu élaborer de nouveau partenariats à l'étranger et élargir le réseau avec des collaborations en Hongrie et en Allemagne. Certains de ces partenariats nous ont permis de créer de nouveau projets : un échange de jeunes Erasmus avec les partenaires hongrois et des envois de volontaires en Grèce avec le CES. Nous avons pu organiser plusieurs conférences de presse pour mettre en valeur les mobilités et les expériences des jeunes. Nous avons constaté un plus grand engouement de la presse locale et de nouveaux articles après les mobilités (voir les Annexes). Nous avons réussi à contribuer à créer un dynamique local en terme de mobilité européenne et à consolider nos partenariats locaux autour de ce sujet. Nous avons organisé ou participé à plusieurs évènements sur la mobilité, comme les Erasmus Days que nous organisons chaque année à Nîmes, ou les 40ans de la MLJ Grand Avignon en septembre 2022 où nous avons tenu un stand d'information sur la mobilité."

European Voluntary Service in France3rd July 2017 – 2nd July 2018The Europe House in Nîmes – Europe Direct Information Centre Occitanie Bas-Rhône Cévennes hosted an EVS volunteer for a project of 12 months in Nîmes, a south-east city of France. The volunteer took part to the activities of the Europe House to inform citizens of our territories of action about current events and projects about European Union and more specifically about programs for young people.The aim of the project is to facilitate intercultural exchanges between the volunteers and the local community. As an important actor of our educational service dedicated to schools, his activities are to promote this service and to create and animate workshops for young people. Furthermore the volunteer participated to the daily animation of the European information centre of the Europe House.Most of the activities of the volunteer are in link with European youth work, the animation and the information on current events of the European Union. His tasks are adjusted to his capacities and personal affinities.Main tasks of the volunteer:-Animation of the social networks of the Europe House-Helping with the animation of the European information centre-Communication about European mobility programs-Communication about the Europe House’s activities-Helping for the European and intercultural Educational Service-Punctual creation and carrying out of intercultural activities and events-Animation of the informal group of young people “Réseau Europ’Gard”A time dedicated to the elaboration of his personal project, important part of the European Voluntary Service, is offered to him with the support and the expertise of the Europe House team.

The purpose of the PI is management of the protected area with intent to achieve long-term nature preservation. It was determined that one of the main goals is also providing benefits for the humane society, especially local residents. In 2014, the PI started with the assessment of the Park’s value. The 1st activity was assessment of the PI’s needs and collecting the data about Park’s value. The 2nd activity was holding meetings with all stakeholders of the Park and local residents where the discussion was about their needs were. The following needs were determined: 1. PI- insufficient promotion and visibility, low number of employees, unfavorable relations with the local comm., insuff. data in databases, need for tourism to support the quality of life for the locals, need for new ideas and energy, fulfilling the educ. role of the PI, PI is currently unrecognizable on the EU level; 2. Local comm..- insuff. level of knowledge about protected areas and sustainability, insuff. level of ecologic awareness, lack of involv. in the PI’s work, lack of info. about volunteerism, children – insuff. knowledge of foreign lang., need to help elders in the Park’s area,need for new ideas and energy, multiculturalism, young people- high level of unemploy., lack of knowl. about ERASMUS+ and EVS and the possibilities that they provide.Therefore the overall objective of the project K4U was to enable young people from various backgrounds (ethnic, cultural, religious) to gain knowledge and skills in the area of nature protect. and sustainable develop./tourism.Specific obj.was: 1. Improve the quality of PI by integrating new work methods into everyday act. and labour, creating a modern and dynamic work envir. and developing European coop. 2. Contribution to the develop. of non-profit projects, active participation, and connecting the people in shared act. for the benefit of the local comm. 3. Enabling volunteers to acquire new skills (comm., organizational and administrative) and knowl. through learning in teamwork and the develop. of social and environment awareness.4. Enabling volunteers, young people and children from the local comm.. to learn foreign lang.; develop. of cultural awareness and respect for other cultures. In the K4U project, 2 young people (18-30 yo) were involved in the PI’s work. Sending organization was Maison del´l Europe, France. To include a bigger specter of activities the project was divided into two components:1st comp.: cleaning wild landfills and speleological objects, building and marking trails, maintenance of tourism infrastructure, work in marketing (design, develop. and print. brochures about volunteerism, ERASMUS+ and EVS), starting a volunteer blog, helping the locals. 2nd comp. includes research and educ. act.: participation in educ. workshops on the subject of karst, tourism, etc., filling the PI’s flora and fauna database, preparing and holding foreign lang. school for local children, prep. and conducting educ. act. for the local comm., project’s visual identity designing, widening the project and promotion, working on personal projects, learning the basics of Croatian lang. The following methods were used in the project: teamwork, familiarizing with the environment, using colors, communication and learning through work, presentation, individualized work,sport-recreational approach, methods of cartography, analysis, observation and finding, interpretation and creative thinking, direct communication, learning by solving problems, kinesiology method, dancing, demonstration, listening and noticing, learning through music, food preparation, brainstorming, SWOT analysis, marketing, etc.With the implementation of the project K4U, volunteers were introduced with Croatia and region Lika, the basics of Croatian lang.Volunteers gained work experience, improved communication skills, a sense of independence and self-initiative and improved teamwork skills. PI Cave Park Grabovača with this project improved the quality of work by integrating new methods into everyday act., creating a modern and dynamic working environment (new ideas and perspectives), developing European cooperation- raising skills to work in an international partnership and to raise the reputation and significance of the PI at the international level (better promotion). The implementation of the project contributed to the fulfillment of the education role of the PI.

« Being an active European » Volunteering Activity in France August 21th 2018 – August 18th 2019 The Europe House in Nîmes – Europe Direct Information Centre hosted a 19 years old latvian volunteer for a project of 12 months in Nîmes, a south-east city of France. The volunteer took part to the activities of the Europe House to inform citizens of our departments of Gard and Lozère (total: 700,000 inhabitants) and surroundings, about current events and projects about European Union and more specifically about programs for young people. The aim of the project is to facilitate intercultural exchanges between the volunteer and the local community. As an important actress of our educational service dedicated to schools, her activities were focused on the promotion of this service and the creation and animation of workshops for young people. Furthermore the volunteer participated to the daily animation of the European information centre of the Europe House. Most of the activities of the volunteer were linked to the European youth work, the animation and the information on current events of the European Union. Main tasks of the volunteer: -Animation of the social networks of the Europe House -Updating our website- creation of posters and flyers for events -Helping with the animation of the European information centre -Communication about European mobility programs -Communication about the Europe House’s activities -Helping for the European and intercultural Educational Service -Punctual creation and carrying out of intercultural activities and events Furthermore, the volunteer had the possibility to do tasks according to her skills and personal affinities. A time dedicated to the elaboration of her personal project, important part of the Volunteering Activity, has been offered to her with the support and the expertise of the Europe House team.

"""Euro-information for all"" is an EVS project to be held on Gran Canaria island. Its main goal is to improve the information about Erasmus+ Programme already being distributed by Cabildo de Gran Canaria, and also, having a volunteer learning from us.A volunteer from France will join us for a six months period. She is highly motivated and interested in the project. Consejería de Educación y Juventud del Cabildo de Gran Canaria (Education and Youth Department) is the host organization, and La Maison de l'Europe de Nimes acts is the sending organisation.The volunteer will perform support tasks whitin the project, helping to design youth information projects and disseminating this information, at the Youth Information Centre and in other organisations, such as CB Gran Canaria, Surf School University, and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria University and Schools.And open and inclusive methodology will be used for such purposes, especially non-formal education techniques.With the implementation of ""Euro-information for all"", we expect to spread the benefits of EVS among the youngsters from Gran Canaria. In the long term, we desire to contribute to create a population more aware of what it means to be a European citizen."
