"YOU-ROPE, Youth Rites of Passage in Europe is the result of over two years of reflections about the rites of passage in use in the involved European countries, their analysis, comparison, sharing and pilot implementation through the involvement of hundred young people, who participated actively in its realization from the start-up to the final Multiplier Event, held in Italy in October 2019. The initial YOU-ROPE's concept is based on the ROPE, Rites of Passage Experience Model implemented by The Center for Youth & Community, Inc. (USA), which given its theoretical contribution and constituted the basic reference for the youth community framework implemented within the project. The main aim of YOU-ROPE project have been to prevent youth problems through a more effective, integrated and coordinated approach to education and social inclusion, realised by implementing and adopting a shared model ""youth and community development through rites of passage"" and by integrating interventions during critical points of transition from childhood to adulthood.Participants n. 6 European organisations: Applicant Coordinator: CEPISS Coop. Soc. (IT); Partners: LabCom – Spin Off UNIFI (IT) Centro Machiavelli S.r.l. – Training Agency and EU Projects Dept – Florence (IT); ETCS Coop. Soc. – Barcelona (ES); ECTE - European Center in Training for Employment - Rethymno (GR); Associatia Psiterra (RO).The project involved mainly educators, youth workers and adolescents as direct target groups during the survey (IO1) and the test-run of the ROPEs Model. To achieve its main objectives, YOU-ROPE created and implemented two core Intellectual Outputs:- IO1 - Framework Survey that allowed to the consortium to collect important information about Rites of Passage in use in the partners' countries, and to develop effective guidelines for the model application, useful for organisations who intend to use this information in the future.- IO3 - Guidelines containing information and instructions for the youth workers/professionals interested in applying the ROPEs model in their working environment. The direct target group involved were youth workers and professionals, secondary schools for the extra-curricular activities, training centers, associations, municipalities especially with their youth policies, etc. All IOs have been realised involving these actors. They have been all addressed as recipients of the dissemination activities and some of them have been also involved during activities both as stakeholders and experts about the project topic. Thanks to the practical and active actions of the six official partners organisations and their associated partners within the local communities of the three involved countries (Italy, Greece, Romania and Spain), YOU-ROPE engaged several hundred participants among young people as part of powerful forces in mentoring the youngest adolescents toward the improvement of their awareness that they belong to a certain community, supporting in this way their social inclusion, giving a concrete contribution to the marginalisation prevention. This result can be considered the main impact that gave a real contribution to reduce the social withdrawal, allowing to all final beneficiaries involved to feel more recognised and integrated into their belonging communities. Thanks to these overall results, YOU-ROPE can be considered a successful project that tested a good practice, which could have good impact on the whole involved communities as long-term benefit, especially because it acted by transferring pathways to youth workers, teachers/trainers for promoting ""positive"" rites of passage practices, that can be surely adopted with good results by young generations."

"In 2016 and 2017, a total of 84 students were offered a several weeks internship in Europe. Two students were able to write a diploma thesis during their mobility. The goal to make the vocational education system of Austria known in Europe was fully fulfilled. Also very positive is the broad mix of participating students, from HAK, HTL and apprentices, as well as the participating partners in Europe, from school partners to company partners to agencies. The 2018 application also includes teacher mobility opportunities for job shadowing on ""Open Teaching and Learning"" to reflect the current trend in education policy."

All placements will take place within the 2016/18 academic years between Sept and Aug. 10/15 working days will provide enough time for a worthwhile experience and to work towards their qualification. Any longer would be too long as some students are still quite young and may not have been away from home before. Students are also unable to undertake longer placements as it is essential that they have enough time at college to complete their course work/assignments etc. Accompanying staff are unable to be away from the classroom for any longer due to teaching commitments. All participants will undertake work placement opportunities within their chosen industry, relevant to their UK course together with educational/cultural trips within the local regions. The placements will enhance their studies and provide valuable experience which will increase their knowledge and develop their skills. It will add value and contribute to their courses and qualifications as it will allow them to undertake and be assessed for modules within their qualifications, whilst providing them with the experience of working in another country and improving their language skills. It will allow students to broaden their horizons and provide them with an experience that they would otherwise not have. Students will learn more about other cultures and get a greater understanding of what it is like to live and work in a different country. This will add value to the students course by allowing them to see how specialists in other countries may view things. It will also add value to their vocational studies by providing them with the opportunity to learn new skills that they can utilise in the UK. It will also contribute immensely to their personal development and help to raise career aspirations by showing them that they can work in another country and how to go about it hence improving and aiding the prospects of the students. They will gain certificates and references from the host, which they can add to their CVs and portfolios of work including Europass and language certification. This independent experience will not only enable the students to become more confident, they will become more motivated as it will broaden their knowledge and horizons and show them possibilities that they didn’t realise were available to them and raise their awareness of their capabilities. Outcomes will be:• Assessment of work and activities undertaken which will contribute to their qualification• Enhancement of soft skills eg motivation, confidence • Euopass certificate of mobility• Certificate from host organisation detailing work and activities undertaken.• Certificate to show improvement in language skillsThe added value to the student will be:• Help them to stand out in the job market• Return more motivated, independent and confident • Learn a range of life-skills not taught in the class room• Access to a wider range of subject areas than in the UK • Improve language skills • Gain an international network of friends • Discover a different culture, gain an international perspective and travel The project will contribute to increasing the volume of mobility throughout Europe as it will enable 183 students to undertake placements in Europe. It will develop the co-operation and partnership between Warrington Collegiate (WC) and other EU organisations, adding another dimension to the already excellent relationship that the Warrington Collegiate already has with some of the partners. The project will provide language training which will hopefully be continued after the work placement, hence contributing the objective to encourage the learning of a modern language. The students will receive Europass Mobility Certificates and we will apply elements of ECVET. The more students that receive this certification, the more well known it will become, aiding recognition and transparency of this kind of learning

Our school believes that the most effective way to improve the quality of vocational education, to increase the knowledge, skills and achievements of graduate students and to train qualified personnel to meet the needs of the labor market is to integrate vocational training in European standards into the work of school. The Erasmus + Vocational Learning Mobility projects supported by the National Agency are an invaluable opportunity in this context and our school seeks to participate in activities that support the professional development of students and the school. The project was carried out between 01.09.2009 / 08/2018 by our school PROF.DR.TUĞGENERAL CEVDET DEMİRKOL AYHAN DEMİRKOL VOCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL ANATOLIAN HIGH SCHOOL. At the stage of project execution, seminar, presentation, survey, analysis, test, performance performance indicators, application and budget calendars, on-site observation etc. methodologies were used. Participant students were selected from 11th and 12th grade students in the related departments. As our school has become a girl vocational high school, all of our participating students are girls and selected according to certain criteria. There were three flows in our project:1. flow: Family and consumer services - 7 students 2 companions- Braga / Portugal- Ascredno - Associação Social recreativa e desportiva de Nogueiró (social support services-aged care) has been to Portugal with the participation of our students. 06-19 January 2018: First internship mobility was in Portugal with the participation of students from the field of family and consumer services. Students participated in internship activities in the field of social support services for the elderly. Here, students gained expertise in social and emotional adjustment problems that can be seen in old age. Changes in old age affect the individual, his / her family and social life. It is becoming more and more important that people around the world get healthy and successful aging, improve the quality of life of the elderly, integrate with society and live in harmony with society.2. flow: patient-aged care - 7 students 2 companions- Milan / Italy Pronto Medico Srl (geriatrics) / 04-17 February 2018: Second internship mobility was based on patient and elderly care services. Participant students went to Milan / Italy. Students received practical training in geriatrics. Geriatrics; It is a branch of internal medicine which is a science branch that deals with health problems, diseases, social and functional lives, quality of life, preventive medicine applications and community aging of patients aged 65 and over. The concept of geriatrics, which has recently become widespread in our country, is no stranger to Europe and especially Italy has developed applications in this field. In our country, the ratio of the population over the age of 65, whose life span has prolonged in recent years, has reached to 8% for the first time. This situation has revealed the concept of geriatrics which requires professional care about the care of elderly people over 65 years old. Students have included the concept of geriatrics in their professional careers within this mobility.3. flow: Food and beverage services-10 students 2 companions-Rethymno Greece: EUROPEAN CENTER IN TRAINING FOR EMPLOYMENT / 20 May-02 June 2018. Third internship mobility has been in the area of catering services in Rethymno / Greece. Students learn new food recipes in their kitchen. These recipes are of vital importance in terms of productivity, waste prevention, customer satisfaction, adequate and balanced nutrition of individuals in hotels, restaurants restaurants, dormitories etc. At the same time, students have learned Greek cuisine and gained the ability to learn new kitchen applications in the international arena. Students who will graduate from school in a touristic area like Antalya will work in touristic establishments such as hotels and restaurants, and for them, this training mobility has been a great gain.In addition to increasing the professional skills of students who participated in the project, they increased their personal, cultural and linguistic competencies and as a result some of our graduates started their business life in qualified places and some of them went to university. The project-based relations developed with the EU have provided positive changes in the institutional structure of our school as well as improving the professional skills, linguistic skills, employment opportunities of our students, transferring the innovative practices to our school through the participants, and the quality of the learning and teaching organization. Good practices in European countries have been integrated into the practices of our school and these practices have been made available to students and teachers in the long term as educational material. With the sustainability of relations with Europe, the school has reached its goal of internationalization.
